Pursuing the Love of the Handsome
Oma Speaking

Clarissa sleeps even though the sun is high. Her husband, who was next to her, kept putting kisses on her face.

"Darling, I'm still sleepy!" With eyes still closed.

"Today we pass breakfast together with them!" Devan plays his wife's hair.

"We eat here, I'm lazy to meet Aunt Siska," she opened her eyes and sat down next to her husband.

"We will not meet him, they must have had breakfast, too" Devan assured his wife.

"All right, then I'll take a shower. You want to come with me?" Clarissa raised her eyebrows and smiled flirtatiously.

"Come on!" Devan rushes out of bed and carries his wife to the bathroom.

Devan clasped his wife's hand tightly towards the hotel restaurant. Some families still enjoy breakfast including Raya and Rey.

Devan and his wife sit down to join Oma Fera. At the same table was Siska and her husband and her son and daughter-in-law.

"Like a newlywed, a long time out of the room" Siska quipped while playing her phone.

"Ma.." said Papa Rey.

Devan and Clarissa ordered food. The two chose silence once in a while they replied when Oma Fera, Rey and Papa asked.

Shortly after the food was ordered, Clarissa and her husband began to enjoy the breakfast.

"Raya, get home from here. You should go to the obstetrician immediately," Siska looked at her daughter-in-law. "Mama wants to pet the grandchild," glanced at Clarissa and her husband.

"Ma, Raya and Rey have only been married for a week" said Papa Rey.

"What if they're only married for a week? It's not that better so we should know, the Kingdom can have offspring or not!" siska Sindir to his son-in-law.

Raya dropped the spoon and plate on the plate roughly, she tried to remain patient.

Rey saw the look on his wife's upset face immediately reprimanding Siska. "Ma, don't start again!" looking towards the middle-aged woman.

Devan and his wife only saw a small debate between mother and child while chewing food.

"I don't want them to be like that, Auntie." Siska defended herself.

"A year you're waiting for that fetus in your womb. Your son-in-law hasn't been married a month yet and my son-in-law's granddaughter has only entered half a year of marriage. I didn't force him to give you a great-grandchild. Why aren't you sensitive to other women?" fera Syndicates.

The insinuation that Fera spoke made Siska speechless.

"Oma will be home today. Do you want to come home with me?" Fera looked at his grandson and his wife and stood up.

"We will go home with Oma" Devan replied. He stopped his eating, regressed his chair.

Clarissa did the same thing her husband did. The three leave the restaurant after saying goodbye to Rey's family.

Devan sat next to the driver, while his wife and Oma Fera were in the passenger seat.

During the journey Clarissa preferred to be silent, her gaze always stared at the road.

Fera looked at her daughter-in-law's granddaughter and asked, "Are you still thinking about Siska's words?"

Clarissa averted her eyes to look at Oma, "No!"

"Then what are you thinking?" ask Fera again.

Devan who was in the front seat looked back.

"Nothing, Oma." Clarissa tried to smile.

"Oma understood your feelings at this time, do not take the heart of Siska's words earlier. Just enjoy the time you two have before you become parents" explained Fera.

"What if Rissa can't give Devan offspring?" Clarissa asked Oma Fera with a voice holding back tears.

"Don't talk like that, you should try and pray!" Fera grabbed Clarissa's hand and patted her back gently with a smile.

Clarissa then hugged the body of an old woman who still looked fresh and healthy. "Thank you, Oma!"

Devan turned his eyes back towards the road and smiled.
