Clarissa stepped quickly out of the building, the man she thought loved her sincerely turned out to be pretending. He did not pursue himself at all or beg for forgiveness, making his heart even more painful.

Arriving at the apartment, she hugged Tina and shed her tears on the shoulder of her best friend. "You why?"

Yuna who saw Clarissa suddenly came home and cried over to her, "What happened?"

"Devan's not as good as I thought!" Clarissa was crying.

"He cheated?" ask Tina.

Clarissa shook her head.

"So, what did that guy do?" Yuna curious.

"She approached me, in order to return to Arta Fashion," Clarissa replied sobbing.

"I didn't expect, such a President!" Yuna shakes her head.

"I'm sure that the President never really loved you" Tina said.

"I hate him!" Clarissa wiped her tears with a tissue.

"Calm down, Rissa. You don't deserve to cry for the man who played with your heart" Tina said.

"Yes, after this contract is over. You can't take a job with Arta Fashion anymore" Yuna said.

A week later

No message or phone call from Devan, the more Clarissa believes that the man is right to play tricks on her.

Seven more days of product launches and commercials will be aired on television stations, Clarissa asked the show's filler besides her there must be an idol singer.

He asks Yuna to talk to Hilman to comply with her wishes, otherwise she will not attend the product launch event.

Hilman meets Devan in his room, "Good day, Mister!"

"What's wrong?"

"Miss Clarissa asked for a filler for the launch of our new product singer Mawar Lestari" said Hilman.

"Just obey his wishes" Devan said.

"Just do it!" devan's orders.

"Good, Master!" Hilman was too proud.

Hilman calls Yuna and says that Devan agreed to Clarissa's request.

Clarissa Apartment

"The president approved the product launch event, will perform Mawar Lestari," Yuna pulled a chair and joined her two friends at the dinner table.

"Why did he agree so soon?" ask Clarissa.

Yuna raised both her shoulders.

"Will the President attend the event?" tina asked as she fed the rice into her mouth.

"But this is a big event, the latest edition and new products this month" Yuna said.

"Yes, usually Arta Fashion will take out clothes and sandals but this year they took out bags" explained Tina.

"I don't care if he wants to come or not, which is important for me to finish the contract with them immediately" said Clarissa who was already hurt.

Meanwhile in a different place, Devan has just come home from the gym. As he walked to his room, Oma Fera approached him, who was about to open the door.

"Where have you been?"

"The gym," he answered briefly.

"Lately you've been avoiding Oma" said Fera.

"Maybe it's just Oma's feeling" Devan said.

"Van, Oma knows you. You're not usually like this!"

"Oma, I'm gonna take a break!" Devan opens the doorknob.

The next day...

"Van, aren't you having breakfast?" Fera shouted to his grandson who was about to board his car.

"No, Oma!" Devan got into the car and sped into his company.

Arriving there, he passed Clarissa who also just got off the car. For a moment the two met a glance, but Clarissa immediately threw away her face and put on her sunglasses. He walked into the building, to have a meeting with Arta Fashion's team.

This meeting discussed about the event that will last several days, Devan also attended the meeting. However, he chose silence not to talk much everything he left to his subordinates.

After the meeting, Devan immediately went to his office, which made Clarissa even more upset and disappointed. He stepped out, but Rey came to greet him. "Rissa!" call him.

"What's up, Rey?"

"How's Uncle doing?"

"Uncle? You mean, Raya's papa?" Clarissa asked back.

"Yes, how's it going?"

"Are you asking Uncle Ardian or his daughter?" clarissa asked back.

"Both" answered Rey.

"Last I called my mom two days ago, she said that Uncle's condition has improved" Clarissa explained.

"Oh, thank goodness!" said Rey. "I see you're rarely with Devan now" he continued.

"Rey, I have another photo shoot" Clarissa tried not to talk to her cousin Devan for too long.

"Alright, Rissa. Be careful on the road" Rey said. Clarissa hurried away from the building.

Rey stared at Clarissa's back from a distance until the body disappeared. He turned his back and saw Devan standing upright by entering his hands in his pants pocket.

"I was just asking about Uncle's situation," said Rey a little nervous, she was afraid Devan misunderstood.

"Go back to work!" said cold.
