Two weeks later....
Hilman provided several reports that Devan had to sign, waiting for the President to examine the files. Hilman ventured to speak.
"Have you read the news this morning?" hilman asked a little scared.
"What news?" Devan is still focusing on reading the report.
"Is it true that you and Miss Clarissa are not married?"
Devan raised his head and looked at Hilman. "What is your job now to take care of other people's lives?"
"I'm sorry, sir. But the news this morning was like that" Hilman replied.
"I want to see" Pinta Devan.
Hilman opened his cell phone and showed the news about Clarissa and then he thrust it to the President.
Devan read the news and hardened his jaw. Online media said Clarissa was not married to Arta Fashion boss and was caught enjoying a vacation in Japan with other men.
Devan puts Hilman's phone roughly on the table making Hilman widen his eyes, he immediately picks it up and strokes it and puts it in his pants pocket.
"Maybe soon the reporters will storm this building, sir!"
"I don't want to serve them, you take care of them" Devan said.
"Is the news true, sir?" Hilman was curious.
"Yes" Devan replied, making Hilman distrustful.
Hilman's phone rang and he looked at the President asking permission to answer him and a slow nod said Devan allowed it.
After receiving the call, Hilman spoke again. "Master, the reporters are waiting for clarification from you on this news!"
"I'm not going to talk to the media, you go down and take care of them. I don't want them making a fuss in my office" Devan said.
Finally Hilman went down and met the media crew. He broke through the crowd of reporters waiting for information from the President.
Some questions were thrown by the reporters to Hilman as Devan's representative.
"Where is the president of Arta Fashion?"
"He can't be bothered" replied Hilman.
"Is it true they canceled the wedding?"
"That's what I don't know."
"But you're the secretary?"
"I'm not his personal assistant, just his assistant in the office."
"Is it true that this cancellation was because Clarissa had another man?"
"I don't know, you can just ask the manager" Hilman replied. "That's enough, yeah!" Hilman clenched his palms together at the reporters.
Half an hour later some reporters started to leave the Arta Fashion building.
Meanwhile at the Rey Family residence, Siska is so happy to see news of Clarissa and Devan failing to get married.
"It seems happy again, Ma?" ask Papa Rey.
"I'm glad to hear this news, Clarissa is just like her mother. Finally without me separating them, they split up on their own" replied Siska.
"This mother was happy, not to strengthen her nephew" protested Siska's husband.
"Let it go" said Siska casually.
Elsewhere in Martha's residence, he smiled smugly looking at the news on his mobile phone. "You two can't be happy after what you did to my daughter" she said.
"See what the hell, Ma? From that moment on, she smiled to herself" Nikita approached her mother in the living room.
"It's news Clarissa and Devan failed to get married."
"Well, this is news. I like to hear it" Nikita smiled.

Her night...
"Devan!" call Oma to her granddaughter when she wants to go upstairs.
"What's Oma?"
"Why did you guys fail to get married known to the media?"
"I don't know, either, if it wasn't Hilman who said it."
"Don't let this news drag on" said Fera.
"Hilman spoke to the media this morning" Devan said.
"Reporters coming to Arta Fashion?" ask Fera.
"Yes, they want a statement from me."
"Oma does not want this news to harm our company" said Fera. "Is Clarissa still under contract with Arta Fashion?" ask again.
"Yes, Oma. Three more months will be over."
"Hopefully the woman will soon be separated from Arta Fashion so that you are not always overshadowed by her."
"Is Clarissa too bad in Oma's eyes?"
"Why are you asking like that?"
"Oma, Clarissa is innocent. Her parents were wrong, and my parents forgave her."
"So, did you offend Oma?"
"No, Oma. I got it wrong to let go!"
"Devan you want to go back to him?"
"If it could, it seemed impossible what else he already had another man," Devan replied passed
