Important talks are still continuing in the living room of the Salvatore residence. However, things felt different in the room, making the Emperor occasionally glance questioningly at his cousin who suddenly became quiet after he returned from the room to pick up some important documents.
“There are still some important things that are lacking for me in this cooperation contract.” Devian put the documents he read on the table, staring at the focus on the Emperor who had not taken his eyes off of him since earlier, “you don't mind if I add some important things ‘kan?”
The Emperor immediately shook his head, “isn't that a natural thing? Anyway I'll still see it before agreeing to it.”
“Good. But, it looks like it will take a little longer. How many days will you stay in this country?” devian turned his eyes in the other direction. Didn't want to return his cousin's eyes that looked squinting suspiciously.
A moment of gripping silence ruled. The Emperor did not answer the question posed by Devian. He just kept narrowing his eyes suspiciously looking at his cousin.
“Perhaps about two days,” replied the Emperor finally. Leaning his back to the sofa then let out a long sigh.
“OK, that's enough. I'll let you know in two days,” Devian is up from her seat, “I'll be in for breakfast. See you,” said Devian passed away leaving the family room entering the dining room.
The emperor stared at his cousin's back flat. Slightly shook his head before finally turning his gaze to stare at his lit phone screen, displaying a message notification from his sister. Immediately the Emperor reached out to grab the flat object, replying to the incoming message from Raila.
While on the other side.
“So so, yes..” Adelia looked down miserably while biting her lower lip. Staring at his fingers, playing the end of the knee-length toska-colored dress he was wearing.
Though Adelia wanted to immediately say her purpose to the owner of the mansion. But unfortunately, the figure was unable to meet him for a while due to work.
Adelia sighed softly. It felt bad that he was looking for a job outside the mansion without telling Demian that.
“Don't be sad, Miss.” Adelia looked up at the voice, looking at the tall, burly figure in a black suit standing in front of her, not forgetting the flat expression that was visible. The figure who was a Devian confidant, as well as the figure who had just informed Demian's unwillingness to meet him.
“Mr Demian will finish his work soon and meet you. During the wait it will be good if you learn some important things that may be useful for you in the future.” The man continued, making Adelia speechless while thinking.
What the figure before him said was true. It would probably be good if he learned more about the language of that country.
"Ah, yes. Thank you for the advice," Adelia said with an awkward smile.
The figure only nodded slowly, "I'll call the private tutor right away for this matter."
Adelia fell silent. His mouth was slightly open with his eyelids twitching rapidly.
"Em, yes. Sorry, inconvenience you and Mr. Demian." Adelia looked down at her two interlocking hands. He became even more unpleasant to the owner of the Mansion.
"It's okay, Miss. It's not a troublesome thing at all. I resigned myself to tell Mr. Demian this, "the figure bowed half his body to Adelia before passing out of the mansion.
Adelia bit her lower lip staring at the wide back which slowly disappeared from view.
"I am troubling Mr. Demian, again" said Adelia. It seemed like after this she had to work hard to repay the man's kindness to her.
At 1pm local time.
The emperor sat quietly in the living room of his sister's apartment. It had been an hour since the man arrived there, after a brief discussion about cooperation with Devian that had gone quite smoothly. Something suspicious happened to his cousin.
"Sister..."
The emperor turned his gaze to the source of the voice. Staring at Raila who was now approaching brought a cup of coffee in her hand, then placed it on the table.
For a moment the Emperor just silently looked at the cup. Empty look I don't know what.
"I'm sorry" said Raila, awakening the Emperor from his reverie.
The beautiful girl now looked down and opened her eyes several times. Preventing the clear hair that is now reminiscing in the eye so as not to fall wet his cheek.
A soft swipe was felt at the top of Raila's head, making the girl close her eyes with her chest tightening. The tears that he had been holding back from now on, spilled down his cheeks without excuse. Her brother's increasingly unkempt appearance made Raila feel guilty.
"Don't feel guilty, Raila." said the Emperor stroked the top of his sister's head, "you're going to this country to study, aren't you? You just need to learn more, about Sister's wife.... Brother will try himself to find her."
It was difficult for the Emperor to say that boldly and loudly. Right now, there's no trace of Adelia he can't find.
Slowly the sound of a sound was heard. The Emperor sighed softly, pulled his sister in his arms and then rubbed the back of Raila trembling with tears.
"Don't cry, Brother is fine."
A lie!
That's a very real lie. The Emperor will not be fine as long as Adelia is not in his presence.
The emperor pushed slowly on Raila's shoulders, staring long at his sister's face that was soaked in tears. Slowly rubbing those tears with his thumb.
"As long as you're in this country, can you accompany Brother to get around?" The Emperor smiled sweetly, slightly making his gloomy face feel even more lively.
Adelia nodded her head quickly. For now, that's all he can do. Will Raila make sure to take good care of her brother for the next few days.
"As long as you're here, you should listen to me! I will take good care of my sister, replacing my Sister's Wife who is not here" Raila said enthusiastically.
"Please help her, My beautiful sister" said the Emperor shuffling Raila's hair with a smile still imprinted on her lips, though her heart felt so empty.
Night residence of the Salvatore Family.
"Mom, I'm going to La Spezia tomorrow."
The voice shifted the eyes of everyone at the dining table until it was fixed on the talking figure.
Zara blinked at her first Son, "you'll stay there for a few days huh?"
His son did not usually ask permission just to leave, unless his son would stay for a few days in the place.
"Yes. Maybe about a month," Demian replied making his mother nod in understanding.
"alright. Remember to watch your food and get enough rest there. Mommy will take the time to visit you, "however Zara will still worry about her son. To him Demian and Devian were still his cute little sons, though now they didn't look like that.
"I'll be back soon, Mom. So no need to visit me, Mommy must be busy with work in the hospital" Demian said with a flat expression, but it sounded so soft from the speech.
Yes, that's Demian Salvatore. It does not show by expression, but by actual action.
Zara nodded. Unlike the figure of Devian who is now silent in his place.
Devian's chest feels tight. He's in a dilemma now, between choosing to side with his brother or his cousin. Recalling the secret information he received this afternoon, it made his head throb again.
'Accident! Why should the Emperor's wife, Demian.' Inner Devian groaned in annoyance while firmly gripping the spoons and forks in his hands.
Huh! Why would he know something like this?!! Just make a dizzy. It feels like Devian wants to forget the memories now.
