The Emperor slowly blinked his eyes. Trying to hold his sitting position. A little hissing when the pain strikes.
His whole body was completely sore this morning. He had not slept in his bedroom in a week. Sofa, floor, and work chair, not tomorrow where he'll sleep again.
Slowly the Emperor moved from his seat. Walk down the floor of his study room filled with broken glass and out-of-place books.
"Adelia," the Emperor strode quickly out of his study. He walked up to the stairs, going up to the second floor to his room. His habit is every morning since three days ago, where every waking up he will immediately enter the room. Hopefully when opening the door there will be a figure of Adelia who fell asleep on the bed.
Chequek!
The Emperor opened the door of his room. Her cheerful face, slowly turning softly with quivering lips held back the cry.
"****!" The emperor curses quietly, shuffling his messy hair as he steps to leave her the door of his room.
'Adelia... Adelia... Where are you?' the Inner Emperor asked endlessly with a blank look.
Both of his legs stepped down the stairs, until he was silent for a moment after seeing the figure standing in the living room.
"Master Emperor" Polin said as he realized the Emperor's presence on the steps.
The burly man immediately lowered his head. His heart was slightly injured looking at the appearance of his Boss which was very messy, in contrast to the appearance he was used to seeing.
That neat figure with a charming appearance had now disappeared. All that looks is a random appearance with an unkempt face, even though it still looks handsome.
But his charisma was very different than usual.
"What's up, uncle?" The Emperor asked again to step down to the ground floor. Approaching the middle-aged figure who was looking at him was concerned.
Lion did not answer that question. His gaze peered at the Emperor's appearance which was far from well-kept.
"Are you okay, Emperor?" Lion asked worriedly. The Emperor's current appearance reminded him of the time when he wept for Risya when he could not find the whereabouts of the mother of his children.
Just a nod of the head that the Emperor gave in response.
The middle-aged man sighed softly, "there's something Uncle wants to tell you."
A moment the Emperor frowned in confusion. He just walked first to the sofa in the living room, sitting rough on a single sofa with a difficult expression to interpret.
Lion soon followed. Sit on the long sofa facing the Emperor.
Polin immediately stepped out of the living room to approach the kitchen, approaching his sister who was there to prepare a warm tea.
"What's wrong?" Asked the Emperor again with a blank look.
A frown of doubt was seen for a moment on Lion's forehead, but the middle-aged man immediately shook his head. Take a deep breath before exhaling slowly.
"It's about what happened back then."
There was no reaction. The Emperor just quietly waited for the figure older than him to continue.
"Uncle apologizes for representing Princess uncle, Liona." Lion stared at the Emperor's dark blue irises.
The Emperor's body stiffened. His two eyes, which had previously looked pretty, were now wide with his hands firmly gripped on the side of the sofa he was sitting on.
Lion could tell the meaning of the expression that the young man before him was now showing. However, Lion can guess if he will see the reaction, but he also can't help but say it. Because, that was the purpose of visiting the Emperor's mansion.
Not long after, Lora's figure was seen approaching towards the living room. Slowly put the tray on the table, with occasional rough gulps when glancing at the expression of the house owner's face.
"Haha!" Suddenly, the Emperor laughed softly. I don't know what's funny, but to Lora and Polin the laughter sounded terrible in their ears.
Lora immediately stepped out of the living room approaching her brother who was seen standing guard not far from the two people.
PRANGS!
Roughly the Emperor jerked a tray containing two cups of hot tea to the floor. Even the Emperor did not care if his hand was hit by the hot tea, until the red color was clearly visible on the back of his hand.
"NONSENSE!" the Emperor was angry. His breath was heard hunting with his heart beating incoherently.
"Emperor...."
"NONSENSE, UNCLE!" the Emperor shouted not to give Lion time to finish his words.
"He was not intentional, Emperor." Said Lion, trying to stay calm facing the man who was in the middle of emotions.
"Bullshit!" Emperor Saying. His breathing became more and more disoriented with anger.
"The person you refer to as the princess nearly killed my sister!" Shouted the Emperor who started to rise from his seat. Formal speech began to come out of the Emperor's lips, indicating that his anger could no longer see Lion as a 'Uncle' figure'.
"He's not...."
"IT'S OKAY, HUH?!" Shouting Emperor.
Lion took a deep breath. Facing an emotional figure makes it must provide a stock of patience so as not to explode and follow his emotions.
"I WON'T FORGIVE HIM!! DEATH WILL NEVER. Even if you beg and prostrate, I will not forgive your Princess! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!" Shouted the Emperor who was increasingly stirred with emotion. He pointed towards the exit with a hateful look at Lion.
For a moment the middle-aged man again sighed. It seems he did come at an inopportune time.
Lion got up from his seat, stepped slowly away. For a moment Lion stopped his steps in the doorway, glancing inward where the Emperor was trying to regulate his irregular roar of breath.
"Clear your hand immediately." Lion reminded before completely disappearing from sight.
The emperor again sat himself down violently on the sofa. Leaning his back with his head looked up at the nanar ceiling.
His hands that were flushed from the hot water hung on the side of the sofa. The pain that he had not felt, slowly began to spread to make a soft hiss sound out of the Emperor's pale lips.
Polin gave orders to his frightened sister to retrieve the P3K box. As he approached the Emperor, his eyes closed with slow breathing began to settle down.
"Go, Polin." The Emperor reminded without opening his eyes as the burly man had arrived beside his sofa.
Polin did not answer, only silent with a sad look.
"If you don't go, I'll beat you unconscious as punishment for neglect of guard." The Emperor continued with his eyes closed.
"You can do it if you want, sir. I deserve it" replied Polin. He was willing if the Emperor would hit him. Perhaps if he could choose, Polin would prefer the Emperor to beat him relentlessly like his Master used to do before than now who was just silent.
The sound of footsteps rang out, turning Polin's gaze to focus on the figure who had just entered the mansion.
He Bram, a figure who now looks surprised to find chaos in the living room.
"Brake..." Call Polin when the man approaches.
The Emperor straightened his body. Looking expectantly at Bram. He hopes that today there is satisfactory news that can make him excited.
"Brake..." Call the Emperor a moment after Bram arrives next to him.
The glasses guy was silent for a moment. He was hesitant to speak the words he was about to say.
"Brake..." The Emperor began to suppress his words, looking furious with Bram who was just silent.
Bram's head shook his head, suffocating the Emperor's body instantly with tears reminiscing in his eyes.
"I'm sorry, sir. This time there is no." Said Bram lethargic.
What if it was like that. He couldn't possibly tell his boss a lie.
"Really?" Ask the police to make sure. The Emperor looked down at the floor.
Bram nodded. He's been trying to check all the information needed to find Adelia's trail, but nil. There's not a trace left. It was as if the figure they were looking for had never existed in the world. Everything is lost like the earth.
"I've also tried to check the residence cctv of the Admaja Family, just in case Miss Adelia might go there. But nothing, it's empty there with no trace of Miss Adelia." Bram explained. He had tried as much as possible, not even his man found anything.
"Our people have spread to almost all regions in Indonesia, sir. But still, until now there is no trace that we find. It's possible.... Miss Adelia's not in this country." Bram said as soon as the Emperor's gaze fell on his right hand.
