Marriage without love

The sound of gamelan flowed along with the dancers who were winding on a large stage beside the square of the city of the king of Sri Kemuning Kingdom.

This week is a very happy day for all the people of Sri Kemuning kingdom, Setra Kencana, Galuh kingdom and Garingging kingdom. This is because, the rightful heir to the throne of Sri Kemuning is currently married to two daughters at once namely Princess Melur from the kingdom of Garingging, and Princess Sekar Mayang from the kingdom of Galuh.

All people feel the greatest happiness, especially for the people of Sri Kemuning. This is because, in a moment they will get a new king, descendants of the legitimate king of his predecessor Gusti Prabu Jaya Wardana.

During this week, people took turns attending open-air banquets in front of the palace. Nothing is different. In fact, beggars were invited to the palace to enjoy treats at the big festive event.

Among those cheerful faces, there was only one face that looked ordinary. And that person was the groom who was none other than Prince Indra Mahesa.

The young man was seen sitting flanked by Putri Melur on the left side and Sekar Mayang on his right side.

Today is the culmination of this wedding feast, and the plan, tomorrow is the crowning of Crown Prince Indra Mahesa to occupy the throne of the kingdom of Galuh as the rightful king.

After the afternoon now changed night, the three brides began to be arak by the ladies to enter the contest room.

At first, Prince Indra complied. However, when she disappeared from the gazes of the guests, she began to order the ladies to leave and she had the two princesses occupy their respective dispute rooms.

"Kanda, will you sleep in Dinda's room or sleep in Yunda Sekar Mayang's room first?" Asked Putri Melur while curling Prince Indra's hand.

"You remember! In their eyes, you are my wife. But never dream of getting my attention. Now, I order you two to enter your own rooms! Or else you can go back to Galuh and Garingging right now!"

"There's one more thing you should know. Don't behave like you did when you were in the teak valley the other day! I will not hesitate to punish anyone among you who makes me angry!"

Finished saying so, Prince Indra Mahesa immediately left the two girls who were still standing looking at his departure.

"Yund. It seems like we will get nothing from this marriage," said Princess Melur as she continued to watch the prince Indra Mahesa who was getting away from leaving the two of them.

"Okay, Melur. I also felt whether this was the right choice or not. But I am happy to be a part of his life. Love or not, all the people know that we are both wives of His Majesty,"

Princess Melur nodded lethargicly. His heart justifies all the words of this Princess Sekar Mayang. But what does status mean?

"The dragon is ours. However, his heart belonged to that wild girl. I'll figure out a way to get rid of that bad girl. Let's just see!" Said the Melur Princess then she immediately rushed into the bridal room which did not attract her attention at all.

Putri Sekar Mayang can only take a deep breath and then step also towards the door of his room which is not far from the room owned by Princess Melur.
