PFM: LEGACY
Authors Notes

Assalamualaikum..

I would like to thank everyone who has read until the end of my book I.

Some may ask, Why did I finish this book with too few episodes, 39 episodes including the epilogue. For the size of the novel uploaded in the noveltoon, this is a short novel. Given the novel's theme of virtual gaming, much development can be done.

To explain my decision, it might be better if I told about my experience reading novels that I had previously loved.

The first novel about the game I read was Swort Art Online. Reki Kawahara's novel translated into English from Japanese. This novel is so deep in my mind. Envisioning creating cool game characters and playing virtually monster hunters and dueling other players, my imagination seems to have flown to Aincrad.

After reading several volumes of his novels, I found that many good Japanese novels were translated into English.

Some time reading Japanese novels or commonly called light novels, I feel bored and look for a fresh atmosphere again. Then I found The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor. The novel that is also themed this game is very interesting.

Instead of telling it event by event. Heesung Nam—author The Legendary Moonlight sculptor—tells in detail the weed journey of an ordinary player into a king, of course in the game. But unlike Sword Art Online whose every event is so epic, the longer the plot gets boring.

Then I thought, why can it happen, even though the writing of the novel is getting better and tidier. I realized after reading Emperor of Solo Play by D-dart and Yoo Seong's Ark that the novel had to be completed when it had to be finished.

A novel should end with a good ending. An ending that the reader will always remember.

My first novel, I felt the limits of the plot I wrote. I could have written further, because there were so many ideas that I wanted to pour out. But a good idea does not mean a good plot development.

Why create a new protagonist?

Because the role of the player is very limited to make the plot more alive. The actions commonly performed by players in the game novels I read are level up, level up, and level up. While boss hunting, guild wars, city siege events are the seasoning used to prepare the core theme of a novel game that is level up.

After that I concluded that if I used the player's point of view again, then I as a writer myself would be bored. For that in the second book, the protagonist I created is a player who plays the role of an NPC. I was inspired by this from a Chinese novel called Amber Sword, by Fei Yan.

In the novel, the protagonist is reborn as a character in the VRMMORPG game he previously played. Following his adventures from the point of view of the game characters, inspired me to create a more interesting scenario.

What if I wrote the story of a player who was given the option to become an NPC. The NPCs considered him a part of them, and the other players did not realize that, the NPCs they were talking to were actually players. He can see news on the internet about player trends and he can also make missions carried out by the players.

Ok from there my explanation. May you who read this note please read my second novel.

VRMMORPG: LEGACY Re-Identity.

End of word, I would like to thank you for reading my first novel and apologize if there were any mistakes and also if the expectations you place on this novel cannot be met due to the limited flying hours I have as novelist.

Wassalamualaik..
