Pet Soul Charm

Pet Soul Charm
Chapter 6: Trapping and Capturing the Soul of Pets

His entire body was covered in blood, and Chu Mu did not dare to do anything else that was too extreme. After all, a great many Soul Pet had a very keen sense of smell; for example, the fearsome and savage Hunting Wolf.

The Hunting Wolf's Rank was High and was even slightly stronger than the Mandy Monster. As long as one managed to obtain it, even if his talent was average, after reaching at least the 7th stage, that person could definitely enter the top ten.

As for the lower Bramble Demons, even if it reached the Ninth stage, it would most likely still have problems defeating the seventh stage high ranked Hunting Wolves.

Chu Mu found a hidden area and rested there for a day while he spent time tending to his own injuries.

The effects of the healing medicine were incredible and Chu Mu could immediately stand up.

On the third day, Chu Mu finally actually entered the deepest island. Chu Mu continued to walk forward very carefully. If he were to encounter a Soul Pet on the way, it would be far more frightening than any foreman Hunting Wolf. If he were to capture a Soul Pet like that, he would definitely be able to sweep through his opponents.

However, these Soul Pets were all extremely savage, so before catching him, Chu Mu did not even dare to approach him.

“Double Head Snake, Gulan Nisi, Fire Fox, Ten Legged Poison Centipede, Monkey Demon. They were all above the seventh stage … "

Hiding in the tree, watching the Soul Pets walk under the tree today, Chu Mu would unceasingly laugh bitterly. The Ratings of these Soul Pets are mostly High or Medium. Unfortunately, Chu Mu could only watch helplessly because the rope trap in his hand had never really been triggered.

A trap right now was Chu Mu's only method to deal with a Soul Pet that was stronger than him.

However, Chu Mu's handmade traps were only limited to high-level Soul Pets from the third stage down. Just now, they were all at a higher level than the seventh stage, and possessed a strength that could rival that of a Hunting Wolf. The shabby trap Chu Mu would not be able to withstand this ferocious monster.

Patience...Chu Mu should have maximum patience.

"Surprisingly, how could there be such a weak Soul Pet roaming around here?"

Suddenly, a weak and small Soul Pet appeared in Chu Mu's field of vision. According to Chu Mu's estimation, it was most likely at the first stage.

This little animal has beautiful reddish-brown fur and has a beautiful fox-like tail; its body is clearly rather small and beautiful. This young fox was clearly interested in Chu Mu's trap because of the food that was there. Looking at his performance, he also sustained injuries from carefully limping and grabbing food in the trap.

“Redish-brown feather.. It should be the Red Cloud Fox..The forehead has a silver crescent moon imprint... Strangely, isn't this a trace that only the Silver Moon Fox has? Could this young animal be a mixed race?” Chu Mu softly muttered to himself.

Chu Mu did not trigger a trap. Although this little animal was actually at a relatively low stage, its rank was extremely low. No matter if it was the Red Cloud Fox or the Silver Moon Fox, they both had lower ranks.

This kind of Soul Pet could not be considered a battle Soul Pet. In big cities, they are usually small house pets to be hugged by girls while they sleep.

Chu Mu left the trap trigger and waited for the half of the small race to pick up the food, before dropping another piece of food into the trap with a rope. He kept waiting…

After continuing to wait in the tree for three days, Chu Mu did not find a satisfactory Soul Pet.

At daybreak, Chu Mu gnawed at his breakfast rations and decided that if he did not find a Soul Pet that met his requirements in the morning, he would take the risk and enter a deeper area. There, he would look for a suitable place.

“Sha Sha”

Suddenly, a faint sound of rustling leaves spread in Chu Mu's ears.

The tree that Chu Mu was in was called the Long Leafed Tree. In fact, there were some Soul Pet who were happy to rest here; for example, the Macaque Demon that Chu Mu had seen before.

Other than the Macaque Demon, there was also the Cyan Bird and Wind Spirit Butterfly.

The lowest requirement for Chu Mu was a Soul Pet at high rank. As for the question regarding the talent of the Soul Pet, Chu Mu could only rely on luck. If he could obtain the Cyan Bird or Wind Spirit Butterfly, Chu Mu could return to his residence and begin training his Soul Pet.

There was an important reason why Chu Mu chose to climb the Long Leafed Tree. It was because the Macaque Demon, Cyan Bird, and Wind Spirit Butterfly inhabiting this tree would not take the initiative to attack humans, so it was relatively safe.

Therefore, when he heard a rustling sound, Chu Mu was not afraid, but instead pleased, as there was a possibility that one of these three Soul Pet could appear.

After getting rid of the long leaves, Chu Mu immediately discovered the origin of the sound.

In front of Chu Mu was not a powerful and muscular ape, nor was the free and relaxed Cyan Bird. It was not even the graceful and beautiful Wind Spirit Butterfly. Rather, Chu Mu's great disappointment, it was a small cyan insect.

The cyan insect was extremely small and was only as long as Chu Mu's palm and as wide as his thumb. It had a pair of shiny black eyes.

At this moment, the shiny black eyes of the small pest greedily stared at the rations in Chu Mu's hands…

"......" Chu Mu was silent. He laughed bitterly and broke off a small portion of his rations. He gave it to the poor little cyan insect and said, “Please eat; however, you should give me good luck. ”

This little cyan insect was basically not even considered a Soul Pet and had disappointed Chu Mu's expectations before.

The small wood-eating insect was not afraid of others and after taking a little ration, it remained close to Chu Mu while content to gnaw it away.

The speed of gnawing at those small wood-eating insects was extremely fast. It let out a pleasant rustling sound and after finishing the rations, propped up its body and looked pitifully at Chu Mu.

Chu Mu did not care about such a small amount of rations and once again handed over the other parts in such a boring manner. The little cyan insect let out a voice of excitement and quickly began to gnaw.

“Yi!”

Suddenly, an irregular strong wind appeared and something clearly swayed above the Long Leafed tree. The leaves of the trees swayed chaotically as they fell everywhere.

Chu Mu was startled and after his gaze pierced through the leaves of the Long Leafed Tree, he suddenly discovered a rather large eagle Soul with cyan-colored feathers while orbiting the Long Leafed Tree!

“Cyan Birds !!” Chu Mu was overjoyed!

Cyan Birds is the wing-type Soul Pet of the Beast World. The superiority of their wings along with their ability to control the wind allowed them to become almost unrivalled amongst others on their stage and rank.

The Soul Pets were nimble, flying, and wind type; if he caught it, after three months of increasing its strength and raising it to the seventh stage, he could definitely rank at his best!

“Shashasha~~”

The little cyan insect sensed the aura of the Cyan Bird and was so frightened that it trembled from head to toe. His climbing speed was suddenly fast as it immediately crawled up Chu Mu's arm onto his shoulder. Furthermore, it hid in the collar of Chu Mu's shirt.

“Gruesome, this one has at least a fourth level of strength. Its Rankings were High, and it was at the fourth stage.” Seeing the cyan silhouette that was free and easy caused a strong wind in the Long Leaf Tree as it spun, Chu Mu swore endlessly.

The trap that Chu Mu dug was meant to deal with the Soul Pets on the ground. If he wanted to obtain the Cyan Bird, the difficulty was really rather great.

"No matter what, I have to try!" Chu Mu did not want to waste this opportunity and dismantle its branches before climbing to the top of the tree.

Stepping on the sturdy tree branch, Chu Mu's two hands clasped his machete. He inhaled a deep breath of air and faced the biting cold of the wind. His eyes were unshakably staring at the Cyan Bird that was circling around the tree.
