Chapter 11: Growth, Stage Two of Moonlight Fox

Bramble Demons were relatively common, so Chu Mu knew them like the back of his hand.

Earlier, Chu Mu concluded that this Bramble Demon was only stage two, with only one tendril available. At that stage, the Bramble Demon vine was around 15 to 20 meters long. Judging from the elasticity of his tendrils, he might be able to extend his tendrils 10 meters further.

That meant the Bramble Demon's body had to be within 10 meters of the little Mo Xie.

Just when Chu Mu was searching for the main body of the Bramble Demon, he saw the vines quickly.

"Liberty Wine!" The ability to attack the Bramble Demon demon floated into his mind. If this ability were to hit Mo Xies small body, with such a fragile body, Mo Xie would definitely be severely injured.

Chu Mu immediately stole a glance at Mo Xie. Chu Mu still did not know what ability Mo Xie possessed, so when the Vine Slash was coming, he was also very worried!

"Moon shadow!" Chu Mu looked at the little man who easily avoided the slash of the vine, showing shock.

Moon Shadow was an evasive technique that was cast using moonlight. Mo Xie, as Moonlight Fox, was only stage 1, but he was already able to cast this spell that a stage 3 Moonlight Fox could normally only perform.

Previously, Chu Mu had met a Cyan Bird that was able to bring out techniques outside of his stage, so Chu Mu defined it as a high-talented soul pet.

So, it was true that all soul pets with mutated blood had crazy talents.

When the Bramble Demon used a wine slash, it revealed itself, and Chu Mu very accurately grasped this opportunity.

"Front left, about seven meters away, attack the main body!" Chu Mu immediately gave the order.

Little Mo Xie??instantly locked the location of the Bramble Demon. As the Bramble Demon slowly dragged its tentacles back, the little fox turned into a silver blur and ran into the dense vines!

Soon, the sound of a broken twig sounded from that area of thorny forest, and vines scattered everywhere.

The Bramble Demon was a Low rank First Stage species, inferior to Moonlight Fox. Although it was a higher level, if it was discovered by Mo Xie, then there was no chance.

"Wuu~~" Mo Xie fox called out again, and a beam of moonlight struck him, taking out his graceful and slender body. Currently, his moon-like fur was growing longer.

Fighting is the quickest and most direct way to let a pet grow quickly. Furthermore, growth is simply a process where weak beings slowly grow and mature!

There was always hostility and competition between the soul pets. During the battle, the yearning to defeat the others and the battle itself would purify the body and allow the pet's soul to grow.

Growing from the First Stage to the Second Stage, Mo Xies feathers became even smoother and luminous.

"The Moonlight Fox's fur seems entirely to be cosmetic, so her endurance might not increase much, but she should be stronger by now," Chu Mu thought to himself.

"Kill, his soul core should be enough to keep you full to eat." Chu Mu said to Mo Xie.

Getting permission, Mo Xie's claws tore apart the Bramble Demon and took out a drop of something that looked like liquid, but also like a piece of clear amber. It was the soul core of the Bramble Demon.

Soul Pet from different kingdoms had different soul cores. Those in the Plant Kingdom usually had a soul core like this piece of liquid amber.

Eating it for food, Mo Xie might not need food for the next day or two. He leaped back into Chu Mu's hands, showing signs of exhaustion. Yawning sweetly, she lay in Chu Mu's hands and looked as if she would fall asleep in a moment.

After Chu Mu finished collecting the vines from the Bramble Demon, he brought the little Mo Xie out of the thorny forest.

Outside the thorn forest was the outermost island. Chu Mu sighed, found the relatively safe little cave, blocked the entrance, and spent the night inside the cave.

The next morning, Chu Mu was awakened by a soft and wet feeling on his cheek. Opening her eyes, she saw the beautiful little Mo Xie licking her face, lovingly "Wuu".

Chu Mu patted the little man and placed him on the ground. He used the water in the cave to wash quickly, as well as gulp heavily. Then, he left and moved the stones blocking the cave to the side.

The sun shone on Chu Mu's face, piercing his eyes yet warm.

"It's almost noon ...... How have I slept until now" Chu Mu wondered.

Perhaps it was because he was tense the entire time he was on the inner island, but the moment he left from there he was finally able to rest well. So, he naturally slept until this late.

Chu Mu took out his rations, took a few bites to satisfy his hunger, and fed the small cyan insects that always hid in his collar.

Receiving food, the little insect squirms again happily, acting very happily.

When Chu Mu left the cave, he walked straight towards the encampment. Even on the outer island, there were some ferocious soul pets, but Mo Xies vigilance was extremely high. As a result, he could easily detect the aura of the stronger soul pet and avoid it.
