The Part 27
Everything Aqil said was just nonsense. I trusted him back. Now that he's not focused on Mei he's more focused on Gama.
"What are you daydreaming about?". asked Aqil.
"Our divorce".
"What did you say?".
After I finished packing all my things. I called Giel to pick me up quickly. This time I will completely leave Aqil. I did all this because I knew Aqil would never keep his promise to me. She will continue to be stuck with Mei's love.
"Where are you going with all your stuff". Aqil hugged me from behind. "Aren't you kidding me with what you said?".
"Go from you and all your promises". I let go of Aqil's embrace and brought my suitcase.
"I know you're still angry and even disappointed with me". Aqil pulled my hand.
"Never make a promise you'll never keep".
"I've really fallen for you, now you're just leaving.
"During this time did you realize the breakdown of my hopes". I said with a turbulent heart. I don't want to go back in love.
"I'll let you go this time but not forever. I'll give you proof not a promise" Aqil approached and hugged me slowly. "I'll go back to you and start over".
"I'll be waiting for you". I let go of the hug and got off.
I heard Giel's car. I will occupy a simple apartment and Aqil will not meet me. The new page is waiting for me. I will start with new hope.

"I didn't think you'd do this". Mama told me.
"I'm sorry, but I don't want to be with Aqil Ma. You know I'm tired like this". I said very slowly.
"You didn't even tell us before". Dad sat next to Mom.
"If I say it first, you'll prevent me". I held Mama's hand. "Even though I and Aqil are not together. I'm still your son".
"I'm sorry we didn't help you". My mother hugged me with tears flowing.
"Everything's happened". Papa took a long breath.
"I'm saying goodbye to Ma". I let go of Mama's embrace.
"Be careful, dear. Don't forget to stop by if you're passing by.
"Sure Ma".
I came out with the tears I could bear. It's hard to do this because I already love Aqil and her family.

I looked at her just as Aqil was about to call me. On his face looks disappointed. I don't know what it is.
"What else is it?". I asked Aqil.
"You forgot this". Aqil gave me a necklace. "May I wear it to you?".
"of course".
Aqil put it on she smiled a little and whispered something to me. "Remember this farewell is not forever".
I just kept quiet. Aqil wouldn't know what I meant from the start asking for a divorce from her. Hopefully after this we will not meet again.

"For what I regret. Cause I lost everything". I drank the coffee I just ordered.
"I'm sorry for your parents' accident. You must be very disappointed, right"
I nodded slowly. "The family is also bankrupt. You feel so guilty now". I stared into the street. "I've let go of my parents. I know they're happy there".
"What are your plans after this?". asked Vidi to me.
"Find me an apartment in another city. I've seen the destruction of Mei and Gama simultaneously".
"Are you right you're not coming back?".
"I've said and I've decided, I'll start over. If I and Aqil are a match, I'll see her again".
I was happy when Aqil kept all his promises. He drops Gama and keeps Mei from twitching anymore. But I am still disappointed with his attitude towards me. I'll test it by going out of town.
"Then I go home first". I said to Vidi.
"Whatever you're gonna do, don't be sorry".
A nod made Vidi smile. "You can do it". that's the word Vidi said when I walked out of the cafe.

I stared at the city from the roof of the apartment. There are so many memories I have made here. My divorce with Aqil has gone well. Aqil really let go of me. Even so, I still consider Papa and Mama my parents.
"Everything is ready". Vidi gave me a passport and some other letters.
"Uncle Thanks".
"You should keep me informed". Vidi rubbed my head. "I'm your real uncle after all".
"I know, I'm leaving now". I hugged Vidi slowly. "What about my job there?".
"You're gonna work at Mila's wedding organizer, my boyfriend".
I let go of that hug. "Again some thanks".
"You should really thank me".
I parted with Vidi on the roof of the apartment. All my luggage and stuff Giel had brought in first. I took a small bag for my phone.
"Don't tell anyone about my whereabouts.
"Ready".

Tonight I reached my humble apartment. I thought Vidi would give me a boarding house or something, but instead the apartment I got. Here, I'll open my new sheet.
"If you need anything just tell me". said the apartment guard.
"of course. Thanks".
The guard returned to his post. I accidentally didn't unpack my suitcase because I better take a break tonight.
