Hisham just got home from the hospital. He entered the house through the garage.
“Assalamualaikum,” said Hisham while inside the house. His house looks quiet which is heard only the sound of people cooking in the kitchen.
“Waalaikumsalam,” replied Mbok Narti from the kitchen.
Hisham approached Mbok Narti who was cooking in the kitchen.
“Mbok-s. Mita ate, didn't she?” ask Hisham.
“Eat, Doctor Sir. But just a little,” replied Mbok Narti.
“Eat the same what?” ask Hisham.
“Sama porridge given fried onions and anchovies. Non Mita asked so. Now Mbok again cook porridge. Just now Non Mita asked for more porridge,” replied Mbok Narti.
“Ya already, the important thing is she wants to eat,” said Hisham.
“I go to the room first, Mbok,” said Hisham.
“Iya, Mr. Doctor,” replied Mbok Narti.
Hisham walked to his room. He opened the room door.
“Assalamualaikum.” Hisham went into the room. Mita is lying on the bed watching a movie.
“Waalaikumsalam,” Mita replied.
Hisham approached Mita. Mita kissed her husband's hand. Next to Mita is Azam sleeping.
“Why does a hotshot sleep here?” ask Hisham.
“Kata Abang, Abang want to take care of ade so that adenya is not taken by people,” replied Mita.
“Abang shower first, yes.” Hisham walked to the bathroom.
Twenty minutes later Hisham came out of the bathroom. He was wearing house clothes. He saw Mita sitting on the bed eating. Hisham approached Mita. He saw the contents of the bowl of Mita. Inside there is porridge that has been stirred flat.
“Eat what disposable slurry?” ask Hisham.
“Wear fried onions and crackers,” replied Mita.
“Kok not wearing telor? There will be no nutrition,” asked Hisham.
“Nmobile. It feels good,” replied Mita.
“Yes, it's okay. Eat a lot, yes!” Hisham went up to the bed. He threw himself down next to Azam and slept with Azam. This afternoon Hisham had no practice schedule so that he could rest with his wife and child.
The night after the completion of the magrib prayer, Hisham took Mita to his private practice to be examined. Azam came with his parents because he wanted to see his baby sister. He sat in the back with a baby chair. At first Azam refused to sit in the baby chair. But after being given understanding, he finally wanted to sit in the baby chair.
Tonight the traffic on the road is still crowded. Isyam drove his car quietly. Azam was engrossed in seeing the scenery outside while chattering to himself. Occasionally Hisham and Mita respond to their son's babble.
“Come, Bang. We get off.” Hisham held Azam and closed the door. They walked into the pharmacy.
Hisham unlocks the door to the practice room and they go inside. Hisham put Azam in the chair.
“Abang is sitting here, yes! Papa wants to check Mama first.,” said Hisham. The toddler replied with a nod.
Hisham turned on the AC and the USG machine. He approached Azam.
“Abang view ade from that screen.” Hisham pointed to the television screen attached to the wall. Azam replied with a nod.
Hisham helps Mita get on the bed. Then Mita lay on the bed. Hisham lifted Mita's clothes to make it easier to check. After that he starts running the transducer over Mita's stomach. Hisham's gaze was fixed on the monitor screen. He examined his wife's womb.
Hisham smiles when he sees his wife's uterus on the monitor screen. Mita looked at her husband's face and then returned to the monitor. She did not understand why her husband was smiling to himself.
“Why do you smile yourself?” ask Mita.
Hisham turned to Mita. “Our children are twins,” replied Hisham.
“How do you know if our children are twins?” ask Mita.
“This you see the baby pouch there are two.” Hisham pointed to the monitor screen.
“Alhamdullilah,” says Mita.
Azam noticed his parents talking together while pointing to the monitor screen. He got off the chair and approached Hisham.
“Au iat, Papa,” said Azam while tugging at Hisham's pants.
“Abang see from there,” Hisham pointed to the monitor screen attached to the wall.
“Au iat the.” Azam pointed to the USG monitor screen.
Hisham had to lift Azam's body and hold it.
“Adik Abang there are two. Here see.” Hisham shows Azam the baby's pouch.
“Abang au ade who waddles and who is olen,” Azam said while pointing the index finger and middle finger.
“That's baby sister, Bang. Not candy,” said Mita.
“Female cama male aja,” says Azam.
“Abang doain so that his sister is healthy,” said Hisham.
Azam raised his palms and his mouth read a prayer to his brother. Then he rubbed his palms to his face.
“Amins. Udah,” says Azam. Hisham and Mita smiled at what Azam was doing.
Then Hisham took Azam down and he proceeded to examine Mita. After they finished checking on Mita, they went home.
