Haikal put the hairdryer on the nightstand, he held Ghisell's face, looking at her with a gaze so deep and hopeful, "I love you, Ghisell Carissa Adelardo."

The words made Ghisell's heart tremble.

"I fell in love at first sight with you. I'm after you and want to marry you not just because I want to take responsibility, but because I really love you so much, I want to live forever with you and our children later," Haikal said it solemnly, only Ghisell was in his heart.

Ghisell did not continue his words because hearing Haikal's phone ring, Haikal immediately picked up the phone call as soon as he knew who was calling him.

"What's up, Ma?" Haikal asked, his mother's tumben called early in the morning.

"Aren't you going to C City today? Mama wants Ghisell and you have breakfast here, this mama wants to cook with Bik Tita." replied Karin across the street.

"Hmm. yeah, Haikal also misses cooking at home, let alone mama's cooking." Since marriage, Haikal has not set foot in the house because he wants to appreciate Rafael's feelings. But she could not keep away from her brother.

Karin felt that there was no harm in Ghisell coming home because Rafael had moved on from Ghisell, he was now dating Luna, that was what he had in mind.

That morning at around 06.30 am, Haikal and Ghisell had reached the Bara residence, they were warmly welcomed by some ART who were on the move in the front yard. Ghisell purposely covered his neck with a scarf so that no one would see Haikal's masterpiece.

"By the morning too, Bik!" Haikal answered their greeting, he continued to hold Ghisell's hand.

After entering the magnificent house, they met Bara and Rafael who were chatting in the living room.

Ghisell let go of Haikal's hand because it felt bad to hold hands in front of his in-laws and ex-lover who is now his brother-in-law. Until the two pairs of eyes met, Ghisell turned his eyes away, while Rafael continued to look at him.

"Hi Haikal, Ghisell!" Bara greeting the child and his daughter-in-law who kissed his hands in turn.

"How's papa doing?" ghisell asked kindly to his father-in-law after sitting on the sofa chair, next to Haikal.

"Well, how's your content now? Does it often get nauseous?" ask Bara again.

Haikal let Ghisell and his papa chat, while he accidentally noticed Rafael who could not get his eyes off his wife, he could not get angry, he knew Rafael would not easily forget Ghisell.

"No Pa, it's rare to be nauseous now" Ghisell replied.

Haikal started talking, "Where's Mama?"

"Yet in the kitchen she said she wanted to learn to cook with Bik Tita, she wanted to cook for her daughter-in-law."

Ghisell was flattered to hear his father-in-law's words.

Bara got up from his seat, "After Kal, there is someone who wants to show you!"

"Yes, pa." Haikal nodded his head.

Bara also went to step into his study.

Now in the living room there are only three of them, namely Haikal, Ghisell, and Rafael, until the three look so awkward.

Haikal frowned, "You can cook?" Ghisell had never cooked for her.

"That Ghisell tasted very good, he rarely cooked, but the cuisine was so delicious, I often ate his time in Singapore." Even Rafael answered Haikal's question.

Ghisell felt bad when Rafael discussed their past.

Of course Haikal's heart ached to hear it, but he tried to act ordinary.

Then Bara came back he brought some fancy housing brochures, he wanted Haikal and his wife to live in one of those luxury homes. "Well papa wants to show this to you." Bara sat back down and gave the brochure to Haikal.

"Yes, if so Ghisell went to the kitchen first Pa." Ghisell said goodbye to Bara.

Bara nods his head "Oh yes, it happens that mama Karin wants to cook sweet sour shrimp, Haikal's favorite food,"

Ghisell rounded his eyes when he heard the word shrimp.

"Ghisell's allergic to shrimp, Pa." Even Rafael chimed in his papa's words.

Haikal just kept quiet, he felt like he was a useless husband, he didn't know Ghisell could cook even Ghisell didn't want to cook for him at all, what's more, Ghisell never said about him being allergic to shrimp, because he was between him and Ghisell never discussed personally, even though he had been trying to be a good husband for Ghisell.

"Oh that, yes it's okay, there are still many other foods that are being cooked mama Karin"

Bara again looked at the housing brochure.

"Yes, Pa." After saying so, Ghisell went from there, to the kitchen which was a considerable distance because the house was so spacious.

"Pope loves this house." Bara showed me one of the houses there.

While Rafael said goodbye to go from there "I'm going to go to the room first, Pa." said.

"Oh yes Raf."

After getting his approval, Rafael finally left.

"Sorry Pa, instead of Haikal refusing, Haikal also had plans to buy a house, even Haikal had monitored him himself. After our son was born, we moved out of the apartment. Haikal wanted to surprise Ghisell as well." Haikal added his words in his heart: What a selfish I would be if I wished there was no farewell to our marriage.

Ghisell was helping his in-laws cook, so they did not need ART anymore to help them. Karin and Ghisell were already familiar, they talked about what made them connect, including Rafael and Luna's relationship.

"So Luna and Rafael are dating?" Ghisell did not understand why Luna did not tell him that time.

"Yes," Karin answered while stirring her cooking in the frying pan. "Are you often nauseous or dizzy, baby?"

"No Ma, originally yes, but now it's rarely felt."

Ghisell held onto his chest, it seemed like there was something wrong with his heart, he did not feel jealous or hurt at all when he heard the news about Luna and Rafael. Doesn't he still love Rafael? But his heart was used to hearing that news. Is it possible that this is the influence of her fetus so that she does not feel sensitive to her feelings?
