Haikal did not want his mother and father to apologize to Ghisell's parents for his actions, he did not want his parents to have to humble themselves for the mistakes made by his son. Because this was all purely his fault, he himself had to bear all that, he who had to apologize even humbled himself until he prostrated himself.
Amidst the journey Haikal was so nervous that he broke out in cold sweat, he felt he deserved another blow from his future father-in-law later.
I'm sorry brother, if I end up fighting for Ghisell.
Haikal tried to design words, he had to say them well and correctly, he had to convince both of Ghisell's parents that he was very serious about marrying his son.
Haikal pressed the car horn as soon as he arrived in front of the gate of that magnificent house, there was a security coming out from that gate. "Oh this is Mas who came here to deliver Miss Ghisell yes" he said.
"Yes, Emm... Om Gibran and his Aunt Ghea are there?"
"Oh there, it just so happens that Mr. Gibran is in the backyard, sir told me that if you come back here again, sir told you to meet him."
The deg!
Haikal's heart beats so hard. Apparently his arrival has been anticipated, he must prepare his heart and body if he has to be injured again, even though the scar of Rafael's punch is still painful.
After parking the car in the front yard of the house, on the instructions of security Haikal walked to the backyard of the house, his steps felt so very heavy, he said, it was as if he was going to meet an executioner who was going to shoot him dead.
From a distance he saw a male figure who looked handsome and dignified he was probably around 48 years old. Ghisell is so beautiful because he has a good looking mom and dad. Same is the case with him who has parents who are no less good looking as well. That was what Haikal had in mind to dispel his nervousness. But Haikal was getting nervous as the man was now staring at him with a sharp look.
And when he finally arrived, he saw Gibran sitting at the iron chair in the garden.
"Happy afternoon om." haikal said nervously.
Gibran stared intently at him, making Haikal even more nervous. "You're Haikal?"
"Yes, I'm Haikal." Haikal rested in front of Gibran, no matter how dirty his woe would be about the grass there.
Gibran was silent, only the sound of breathing could be heard.
"I came here to apologize for all my mistakes..."
Gibran cut off Haikal's talk, "Ghisell explained everything."
"Yes, that's why I want to answer. Let me marry Ghisell om. I want to marry her not just because I love my daughter. I would do anything to make amends, even if I hit me." Haikal did not expect he would smoothly say it all.
"You love Ghisell?" Gibran frowned. He watched Haikal, wanting to know what Haikal said was sincere or not.
"Yes, I didn't know he was my brother-in-law. I loved her before I knew she was my sister-in-law."
Gibran paused for a moment "You're willing to do anything? That means I can punish you?"
"Yes, of course."
"Wait a minute!" Gibran immediately went into the house.
Haikal so deg-degan. What would Gibran do to her?
So surprised Haikal when he saw his future father-in-law carrying an object that has not been clearly seen what it is, only the long handle is made of iron.
"Don't kill me first, I want to marry Ghisell, I want to see my son's face." Haikal said it in a pleading tone.
Gibran who had wanted to look assertive, he wanted to hold back the laughter, "Om can't hit you because your face has been battered. It's a lawnmower. I was going to send a gardener here. Because you said you wanted to do anything, you wanted to clean the grass on this page."
Haikal was relieved, it turned out that the punishment was just mowing the lawn "Oh ready om, I'm willing." Haikal immediately took the lawnmower out of Gibran's hand.
"Not just here, but there." Gibran pointed in a fairly distant direction because Gibran's house had a very wide courtyard.
Haikal rounded his eyes, "Sa-till there om?" Haikal pointed towards a Villa, until it looked like a miniautur.
"If you don't stir up...."
"I can afford it." Haikal answered steadily.
"Hmm. yeah."
As soon as Gibran left, Haikal immediately turned on the lawn mower and began mowing the grass that had begun to rise.
Gibran watched from a distance, he immediately entered the house as his wife called out his name. Apparently the guest he was waiting for came as well, his grandparents Ghisell.
Gibran warmly welcomed the arrival of his parents. "Mama, Papa."
"Where's my grandson?" ask Opah Reza. Because Ghisell was the only granddaughter she had, Opah Reza loved Ghisell very much.
"Ghisell is in the backyard villa." replied Gibran.
Ghea noticed the man mowing the lawn, "Have you hired a gardener?"
"No, that's Ghisell's future husband."
Ghea rounded her eyes, "Who?" He has not yet decided who Ghisell will marry.
"Haikal." replied Gibran casually.
"Ck! Geez Ghea, when you don't know your own son's future husband." Omah Rosa clucked. He hasn't changed, he's as chatty as he used to be.
"It's not like that..." Ghea could only scratch her head, puzzled to explain. Her husband could directly convert Haikal Ghisell's future husband without telling him first, although he also did prefer Haikal who married Ghisell because Haikal was the father of a fetus conceived by Ghisell.
As a man, Gibran knew very well what Haikal said was sincere. He wanted to marry Ghisell not a form of coercion because of a sense of responsibility alone, but the man loved his son very much, from the look of Haikal's eyes represented all that.
