One Night's Passion With a Candidate In-par

One Night's Passion With a Candidate In-par
Thirty Four

Ghisell was shocked when his parents called Doctor Anton home. Although he knew it was a form of attention from them, but a disaster for him.

Until finally his mother and father knew the situation he was now from his personal doctor.

"Miss Ghisell is probably pregnant." That's all Doctor Anton said before he left.

The words made them startled instead of playing, it really felt like they were struck by lightning, so it shook their minds.

Which parent is not emotional if their child is pregnant out of wedlock? So did Gibran, as a father, who was furious to hear that his daughter was now two-bodied.

"Who did it? Is that Rafael?"

Ghisell could only cry in the arms of his mother. "No, Pa."

They were surprised to hear Ghisell's reply.

"Then who did it? You will soon marry Rafael." Ghea asked, he was always gentle with his son.

Ghisell was sobbing, he could not answer their questions.

Gibran massaged his head that felt very dizzy, "Why are you able to conceive someone else's child? If it wasn't Rafael who did it, we'd just cancel that wedding plan."

Ghisell just resigned, he realized there was no way Rafael would accept him who is now two-bodied. Moreover, he could not imagine his household what with Rafael later if it started with a sense of disappointment and anxiety. But she also did not want to marry Haikal, so sick that she had to meet Rafael every day.

"Let's tell me Mama, who did it?" Ghea repeatedly asked Ghisell about it.

"We were both drunk, Ma. We do it outside of consciousness. Forgive Ghisell, Ma."

Gibran let out a heavy sigh, he tried to lower his emotions. "Who did it, Ghisell?"

"In-he. he's Rafael's brother, Haikal." The speech went hand in hand with Ghisell's sobbing, although it still sounded so clear the person Ghisell was referring to.

"Oh my God, Ghisell!" Gibran was so shocked to hear that.

Ghea and Gibran were struck by lightning twice. How did Ghisell conceive the child of his future brother-in-law?

"Ghisell doesn't cheat, Pa. Even then we didn't know we wanted a brother-in-law."

It would be unethical for Gibran to think about it repeatedly. In fact, he became reminded of his past that managed to wrest the woman he loved from the stepbrother. Haikal Ghisell's story is not as bad as his because Ghisell is still not Rafael's wife. He could no longer be angry like that.

"Ghisell doesn't want to marry her, Pa. Let Ghisell take care of my own baby." - Ghisell.

"We'll see first the seriousness of Haikal, if he's a man in charge, he'll definitely come here without being held accountable" Gibran wanted to know if Haikal was the man in charge or not.

If Haikal was the man in charge, Gibran would marry Ghisell to him, at least he knew Haikal was the real man who would take responsibility for his marriage. He would not have the heart if his grandson would later ask the whereabouts of his father, his grandson would have needed the figure of a father.

But if Haikal doesn't come to his house, it's certain he's not the man in charge, and Gibran won't demand much less begging for accountability. He would not let Ghisell marry a man who could not account for his actions, even if it was the father of his granddaughter. Gibran is still able to finance and give his affection to his grandson later.

And as for Rafael, as much as he loved Ghisell, Gibran was not sure Ghisell would live happily with Rafael. Gibran feared that it would be the beginning of Ghisell's suffering. He could have accepted Ghisell's shortcomings, but not his son, who would have continued to make quarrels for the sake of rooting in their household.

As a father, Gibran certainly had to think carefully about the future of his son.

Gibran chose to leave his son and wife, he wanted to calm himself in the backyard.

"Listen to my dear mother, you know you love Rafael, although for example Rafael does not mind your condition but it will be your weakness that may be revealed in every fight you have. Mama doesn't want you to live with suffering."

"But Haikal doesn't know either, Ma!" Ghisell did not want to marry a man who had made his life run this way.

"Because papa wants to see his seriousness. If he doesn't come here either. Means he's not a responsible man and doesn't deserve to be your husband."

Somehow Ghisell wished Haikal had not come home, he was not ready to live with the man, the man who always irritated him whenever nearby.

"Mama met him once. Mama thinks he's a good man."
