CHAPTER 13

Nadlyn is now 9 months old. Robi began to reduce her work activities and do more work at home.

"Pa...." Call Nadlyn.

"Yes dear..." Reply Robi but with eyes fixed on the file he is checking.

"My stomach hurts, Pa.. It hurts so much."

Instantly make Robi immediately leave his file and approach Naldyn. "Are you born, son?" Ask Robi.

Nadlyn shook her head, one hand rubbing her stomach and one hand supporting her back waist.

"It hurts and then it goes away, then it hurts again and it goes away again, Pa.."

"Oh my God, Nad.. Looks like you're giving birth." Robi immediately grabbed her car keys and carried Nadlyn to the car.

"Summ, please bring Nadlyn's gear to the car." Shouted Robi.

Robi immediately runs his car to the hospital after Nadlyn's equipment is inserted into the car.

"Pa..." Call Nadlyn when they're at the red light and the car stops.

"Yes, honey.."

"Don't go to Daddy Pras hospital. Nadlyn wants to give birth in another hospital." He said while occasionally grimacing to endure the pain.

"Why?"

Nadlyn shook her head. "Nadlyn doesn't want Daddy Pras and Mommy Nanda to take Nadlyn's baby later."

Robi was quite gasp when she heard the thing that Nadlyn was afraid of. "Dear, they love you too. There's no way they're taking your baby."

"No, Pa.. I don't want anyone to take my baby."

"No one will take your baby, Daddy Pras will do the best for you."

"I don't want Pa, please just understand me this time."

Robi sighed, he turned the car towards the nearest hospital, Robi chose to follow Nadlyn's request rather than having to make Nadlyn stress back.

They arrived at a special hospital for mothers and children. Nadlyn soon gets the handling and Robi takes care of the administration. As per Nadlyn's request, Robi did not contact Pras and Nanda. Robi only gave a message to Dirga if Nadlyn would give birth in a hospital close to her home. But the message was not read considering this is still college hours and Dirga is taking classes.

Nadlyn occasionally grimaced as she felt the pain again. A nurse checked on Nadlyn's condition. "It's perfect, get ready, ma'am."

Shaking with Robi accompanied his only daughter, he remembered the time he had accompanied the wife who gave birth to Nadlyn, and two years later the wife died of illness.

"Strengthen, Honey. For Papa's sake." Robi said with sadness.

"So he's Pa, Nadlyn please whatever happens don't give him to Cean and his family."

"We'll take care of her, you as her Mommy and Papa as her Grandpa, hem.."

"Nadlyn's tired, Pa..."

"Please baby, don't say that. You'll be fine." For whatever sake Robi was in fear, but he tried to try hard for Nadlyn.

"Push the baby after I count to three ya."

Robi tightened the grip on Nadlyn's hand, as if channeling power to her daughter

"Emmh." Nadlyn's breath was cut off.

Robi remained tightly clasped Nadlyn's hand, occasionally wiping Nadlyn's sweat with one hand to the other.

"Come, Miss. Already seen his head, take a breath and push on the count to three ya."

"One, two, three, push.."

"Emmmmhhhh Papaaaa."

"Owekk, Owekkk." The cry of a tiny baby broke the tension in the room.

"You're great, baby, you're great." Robi said softly while smirking Nadlyn's face.

"The baby's a boy." Said a doctor who helped deliver Nadlyn.

"What a great name."

"Dirga named Sky, he said to be cool." Nadlyn grimaced again as the doctor cleaned the wound in the core that became his birth canal.

"Samudra, is it because he's Cean's son?" Asked Robi who kept talking to Nadlyn.

"Yes, because he's his Daddy, even though Cean might never take it."

After observation, Nadlyn was transferred to the treatment room. Nadlyn even carried her son whom she called Sam.

"Sam's handsome, Pa.."

Robi who was staring at the face of the innocent little baby nodded in agreement. "Like like Papa?"

Nadlyn laughed, "Yes, handsome like Papa."

The sound of the door opening, Dirga who was so reading a message from Robi immediately headed for the hospital.

"Sorry, Uncle. I had a class."

"It's okay Dirga, Uncle understands." The answer.

Dirga's eyes were fixed on a tiny baby covered in light blue in Nadlyn's arms. "May I carry it?"

"Wash your hands first." Nadlyn said and like hypnotized, Dirga immediately washed both hands up to the elbow.

Nadlyn slowly gives Sam to Dirga.

"Hi handsome, why are you so handsome, you want to rival me?" Dirga asked Sam who made Nadlyn and Robi smile.

Now Dirga's eyes were staring at Nadlyn, "Are you okay?"

Nadlyn nodded, "Very good."

Dirga also returned the smile, "So what is my hero's name?"

"Sky Ocean Albiru." Answer Nadlyn.

"That name makes him cool."

"Call him Sam, Ga."

"Should be Sky." Said Dirga. "But Sam is no less cool." Another imbibing. "Hi Baby Sam, you have to call me Papi."

Little Sam squirmed, it made Robi and Nadlyn laugh. Sam's birth really made Nadlyn more excited.

Meanwhile in London. Cean felt his body was not good. He was treating the wound on his finger, Cean accidentally broke the glass and while trying to clean it, his hand was scratched by a shard.

The universe like the middle of giving code to Cean if Nadlyn is struggling to give birth to their son, but again Cean always brushed it off. Even Cean was dreaming of hearing the voice of a baby, making him wake up immediately and when he woke up, Cean felt his body was not good even his feelings were not good.

The sound of the phone rang, Cean immediately picked it up when he found out that Mommy was calling. Cean really hopes that if the Mommy gives news about Nadlyn, because at the end of this, Nanda never again talks about Nadlyn to Cean.
