ON TWO HEARTS

Claire's Story

"Why is Sean here?" Lucca surprised. Thankfully, Diona is fine.

"Claire said? Is he really helping me?" Elis did not believe.

"Right, but he's asking not to tell me if he works here "Diona remembers Claire's request.

"Why can't you say? it's a halal job" Lucca said in surprise.

"Maybe he's embarrassed. Not all jobs are as prestigious as your job" Elis explained.

"Yes, I'll take you home" Lucca said later. Diona just realized that she didn't see Claire at school. Because Diona wants to thank Claire, Diona asks Lucca to drive her to meet Claire at the restaurant. Claire works there.

"I'll be home soon. If you want to wait" Claire tells Diona, Elis and Lucca.

"How about we wait at the cafe across the street?" ask Lucca.

"May, I'll be there." Claire replied sure. They also separated. Diona, Elis and Lucca go to the cafe, Claire goes back to work. As Claire said not long after that she caught up.

"I'm sorry you guys have to wait. What are you looking for me?" claire asked confused.

"I really want to thank you for helping me. But you weren't at Claire's school" Diona explained. Claire remained silent. The others were waiting for Claire's answer.

"Actually I can't go to school" Claire said sadly.

"Why? Aren't you okay at school." Diona asked. He was not close to Claire.

"I don't have any money. Now I just have to work to make money" Claire said, looking down. Claire was now very different from Claire before.

"What about your parents?" elis did not understand.

"I don't have parents. I was honestly dumped since I was a kid. So I don't know who my parents are." Claire was honest, though bitter.

"But then someone picked you up at school. Is he your uncle?" Elis doesn't believe Claire is alone.

"Not really." Claire smiled cynically.

"Okay, maybe I should be honest with you guys. I grew up in an orphanage. I'm living a hard life, because I want to change my life I'm looking for a boyfriend. I met Dann. Frankly when I met him I was stunned. He is handsome, gentle and rich. Even though he was far above me. He's very attentive to me. But he already has a wife and children. Dann became my dad's sudar. I don't care if he has a family. Dann said he loved me. Life assured. I can go to school as I want. But I got pissed. As a woman I want to have a clear boyfriend and one day get married. Dann never divorced his wife. I started dating men my age. But apparently Dann knew. He was very angry and threatened to lock me up. That's why he picked you up at school. I don't dare to date anymore. Dann promised that if my school was over he would take me on a tour. We'll spend some time together. But apparently Dann's wife knows about me. He came to me and insulted me. He said Dann would never leave him. Dann will throw me away and forget me. Since then Dann has been hard to meet with me. His wife always watched him. If I used to be easy to get money now no. Dann is still giving money but not as big as before. I had trouble paying for an apartment and had to sell my car. Dann's wife knows my car anyway. Dann once said he would never let go of me. But I want to get away from Dann. I work here while hiding. I can't go back to school. Dann's wife can go there looking for me. I'm raising money to get away." Claire told me while shedding tears. The others were stunned to hear Claire's story.

"If you could go far, where would you go?" ask Diona who pityes Claire.

"Anywhere, as long as it goes far and can't be found" Claire said quickly.

"Claire if you want, what if you go to my dad's. There's a farm, you can work for my father. Besides, there Dann won't find you." asked Elis carefully.

"True Claire, you're going to Dakota. That's a great idea." Lucca agreed.

"Did I not trouble you?" Claire's not good for Elis.

"Of course not, you'll work there. You'll get a place to stay. There you can help my mother." exclaimed Elis.

"It looks like a good solution. Can I really go there?" Claire couldn't believe it.

"Say if you're ready. I'll buy you a ticket and then you leave" Lucca said. To avoid Dann's pursuit, Claire must set off as soon as possible.

"I'm ready anytime" Claire said sure.

"I'll see the flight time, then we'll go to the airport" Lucca said, opening her phone.

"I'll tell my dad to pick you up at the airport" said Elis, opening his phone to talk to his father.

"You guys are so nice. Diona I'm sorry for you. My attitude towards you all along has been bad. I'm honestly envious of you. It seems your life is happy." Claire said honestly.

"It's okay Claire, everybody's got a problem. Including me." said Diona comforting Claire.

"I was actually upset with you because I liked Lucca and wanted to be close to her." Claire bluntly.

"So now you don't like me anymore?" ask Lucca flirting. Claire blushed in embarrassment. Claire's current appearance had also changed. He used to dress up all the time. But now she was only wearing powder and thin lipstick. But it is more interesting to Lucca.

"Now I dare not like anyone. I want to take care of my life first." Claire said she was aware of herself.

"Claire this afternoon there's a flight to New York. You can leave. Then from there you're new to Dakota. How's it?" ask Lucca.

"Can too. Then I'll get ready. I told my manager I quit my job" Claire said excitedly.

"You have your resignation letter from school. Let me tell you later?* said Lucca again.

"Ok wait for me. I'll be right back." Claire got up to go back to the restaurant. He'll take his stuff and say goodbye. A few minutes later, Claire returned.

"Claire I told my father. He'll have Mark pick you up at the airport. Here's a picture of Mark so you don't get the wrong guy. Then this is Mark's number, you can call him when you leave, " Claire also records Mark's number.
