ON TWO HEARTS

ON TWO HEARTS
Amalfis

"She always comes to restaurants, doesn't dare to come home because she knows your mom won't like it. You should see him at the restaurant. Don't let her know your mother doesn't exist. He will come home later. Seeing your sick father means that he is no longer interested in that woman, but really loves your mother. It's just that he's been wrong to have accepted the woman's visit all along." Irene was a little relieved. Paul's face is now cloudy.

"Uncle, if it's like this what would you do?" ask Paul to Danu. Although Danu was surprised to think.

"If it were me, I would definitely look for my wife's whereabouts. Then convince her to come back with me." replied Danu.

"Yes your mother shouldn't have left. Face the woman, even though I'm going to hit my husband with a toast" Wilma said.

"Darling, I'm not." Danu protested.

"In the barbecue of the toast, about how long in the hospital?" ask Paul. Irene smiled. The couple is funny too, he thought. Diona was silent. But he saw the other side of women's stupidity. Not stupidity exactly. Not to be ashamed. A former lover who has a family. Ah that's not his business. He better eat. Again from every tour he did, the thing Diona liked the most was the food.

"Unfortunately I don't know where my mother is" said Paul listlessly.

"You ask Betsi, if your mother still cares about your father she might call Betsi" Irene suggested.

"Auntie's right. I'll ask you later." Paul has hope. After lunch Paul took them to visit the Amalfi Lemon Tour Experience-Parco Zagare. They sat under a lemon tree hanging from the fruit. Diona gnarled to pluck it. Paul's troubled heart was healed with their joy that day. After that Paul took them to a restaurant in the middle of the city. The restaurant is on the second floor. On the first floor there is a small ice cream shop that attracts the eye. The ice cream is delicious. The ice cream shop is pretty crowded. They put benches and tables for the visitors, although not much. But the benches are full. Paul takes them up to the restaurant after buying Diona a large portion of ice cream.

"This is actually my mother's restaurant. My dad gave it to me as a wedding anniversary gift first. But my mother was not interested in the restaurant business. So I was the one who managed it" Paul explained.

"Lying, he doesn't care either" said a man who came out from inside. The man spoke broken Indonesian. Not yet as smooth as it seems.

"You speak Indonesian?" ask Diona happy.

"It's not good yet, but the teacher's gone." replied the man.

"The mother taught him. This is my cousin Raul, who lives with my aunt Irene."Paul patted Raul, their height is the same. Their faces are different. Raul has an Italian face.

"Hi I am Raul" said the man kindly.

"So you run this restaurant?" Danu.

"Right, Paul was busy he didn't get around. But because I'm not as smart as him, so the restaurant is not as crowded as his other father's restaurant" said Raul humble.

"But the ice cream shop below is very crowded" Danu said again.

"This feast is long. Maybe it has to be renovated" said Paul assess. He saw his mother's restaurant was not as bright as it used to be.

"Paul, you dream of working at a restaurant you like in Paris. How about you make your own dream restaurant?" Danu proposes to Paul.

"I think it'll be interesting. This restaurant used to be interesting, but with the development of the area here many restaurants and cafes are more interesting" said Raul explained. Paul was silent but still observing.

"I'll think about what kind of restaurant I want" Paul said at last. They also take a walk around the restaurant.

"Are you going to the beach?" ask Paul to Diona.

"What to the beach. You might like it. There are a lot of women in bikinis." Diona reveals her reluctance to the beach. Paul laughing.

"You can also use a bikini" said Paul teasingly. Amalfi is an interesting city. So many tourists came. No need to go to the beach actually many of the tourists who wear sexy clothes. Sometimes Diona is uncomfortable. Maybe Paul is used to it. They walked down the alley where there were shops selling various goods. Some sell clothes, hats and shoes. Diona happily bought shoes. The seller of five legs but still his name buy shoes in Italy. Diona chose shoes without heels, to go to school. From there they walked again. After passing through the shops they meet again street vendors. This time they sold crafts and paintings. Sellers hang their paintings on the wall.

"Supply me a place here" Diona told Paul.

"Forgot that" Danu said firmly. There was no way he would let his nephew trade the five legs. Diona laughed, she wasn't sure the painting would be good later. Wilma is interested in a clothing store. He went into the store. Danu waited outside while leaning against the wall. When Wilma shows him a shirt if it's good Danu will point her thumb. But if he doesn't think it's good, Danu will turn his thumb down. Diona and Paul were busy looking at crafts on the fifth leg near the store. Wilma eventually left the store. They walked back down that little road. While walking towards Irene's house, there was a young couple kissing on the side of the road.

"You can try that too" said Paul teasing Diona. Diona had not yet answered, Danu has cleared his throat full of threats.

"Uncle, Didi's a polite girl. You don't worry."Paul protested to Danu.

"Thank God, so you don't teach anything." Danu warned.

"Paul you got a girlfriend?" ask Wilma to know.

"Daughter? Who wants to be with a poor young man like me?" said Paul. The poor? Soon he will inherit his father's six restaurants, where are his poor? thought Diona.

"My usual apartment is not luxurious, my car is also a cheap car. Lucca Didi's friend, the car's cooler and more expensive." Paul explained his point.

"You don't assume all women love luxury. For example, I am, Uncle Danu is a simple person. It's a good thing she has a company, so I want to be with her." Instead of straightening things out, Wilma insinuated Danu.

"What the hell do you mean?" ask Danu with sewot.
