Let's Go Home!

Carrying two large bags containing her clothes and Galang, Ariel carried Galang out of the house. The air tonight is so cold after all day rain.

Ariel's confused where to go tonight. The plan wants to find a small contract for his residence and Galang later. Ariel did not want to stay in the house any longer, afraid Wawan would come home and prevent him from leaving. Afraid that Wawan would again resort to violence against him. Once against, Ariel will continue to fight. Going away from home is a form of resistance to the husband who has been married for 3 years.

Ariel walked towards the bus stop and waited for the bus to arrive. The plan Ariel want to find a contract that is located not far from the house of Om Bobby, so that he can keep looking after Galang when he has to work. Ariel heard Galang was a little delirious. Initially Ariel smiled but when she saw there was a sweat coat on Galang's forehead, Ariel's smile disappeared. The cold air but Galang was sweating, meant that something was wrong.

Ariel quickly held Galang's forehead. "Geez, you have a fever, son. How'this?" mumbling Ariel.

Shortly there was a thunderous sound and followed by heavy rain. Ariel is stuck at a stop with Galang who is having a fever. Ariel is confused. What's he supposed to do now?

Ariel tries to contact Luna, her best friend. It turned out that Luna was going out of town accompanying her husband on office duties. Ariel tried to contact Wening. His friend is busy serving his sugar daddy who tonight will stay at his house.

"Sorry, Riel, my Om is coming tonight. I can't let you and your son stay over because it'll interfere with my work later. Sorry yes!" said Wening.

The rain is getting worse in Jakarta. A quiet stop makes Ariel more confused what to do. It's getting night. The air is getting colder. No bus passing by. Want to break through the rain, Ariel pity Galang. You can have a fever later. Most importantly, where is Ariel going? There is no way to go home to his parents, besides being far away, Ariel does not want to make them sad with his condition. Ariel wants them to know that he is happy to live in Jakarta.

The only place Ariel can go is Om Bobby's house. Will Bobby allow it? It feels like not knowing yourself, has borrowed 30 million eh now Ariel even want to bring her son along. Embarrassed. Although she was not a good woman, Ariel was shy. Not wanting to use someone who's been nice to him.

When Ariel is upset, Galang's body temperature gets hotter. Ariel has to make a quick decision. It was Bobby again whom he called in an emergency.

"Night, Om," Ariel said by phone.

"Night, Riel. What's the night-night call? Where are you? How does the rain sound?" ask Bobby.

"I ... at the stop, Om. I'm ...." Ariel could not hold back her tears. "My son is sick, Om. I'm confused where I'm going. My husband ... has dropped a talaq on me."

Bobby who was watching TV sat straight up. "Where are you at the stop?"

"Halte near my house, Om. How's this, Om? It's getting feverish." Ariel sniffled back.

"I'm going there now. You don't go anywhere. Send me your address!" Bobby snatched his black jacket and left in his favorite black car.

The rain was getting heavier with strong lightning that was heard several times. Bobby went to the place Ariel had sent her address. Heavy rain makes Om Bobby reduce the speed of his vehicle because of limited visibility.

Half an hour later, Om Bobby arrived at the stop where Ariel was sitting while hugging her son. There were two large bags that Ariel was carrying. Apparently Ariel did not lie, she was divorced by her husband.

Bobby got out of the car with an umbrella in his hand. He opened the car door so Ariel could get in. "Come in! Let me pick up your things."

Ariel according. He and Galang sat in the front seat while Om Bobby was busy stuffing his belongings before sitting in the driver's seat. "We go straight to the doctor!"

Without waiting for Ariel's answer, Om Bobby drove his car to the nearest hospital. Bobby doesn't want anything to happen to Ariel's son. He immediately received doctor's treatment. Lucky Galang is okay, just fever due to cold weather.

"It's all because I forced Galang out of the house at night" Ariel said, blaming herself.

"That's it, don't blame yourself anymore, Riel. Most importantly, Galang has gone down the heat." Bobby tried to calm Ariel down.

"I'm a stupid Mama, Om. I don't think long. I just thought of myself not being strong any longer in that house. I don't even know where to go." Ariel covered her face and came back crying.

"I think you're a brave mother, Riel. I, who have not known you for a long time, already know how much you love your son. Whatever you're gonna do for your son. It is only natural that in the end you are not strong and choose to leave. Most importantly now, Galang can go home, but you still have to keep it healthy. Residential problems .. You can stay in my house," said Om Bobby softly.

"At home Om? I ... will trouble Om only later, my son is 2 years old, he will definitely make Om dizzy with his crying and doing. His father could not stand it, even to the point of saying it." Ariel shed her tears again. It is very sick to imagine the insults that Wawan hurled at his son.

"What's wrong. My house is big and I am the only one who lives there. To me, hearing a loud noise because of the babbling and crying of a child is better than hearing the ticking of a clock, it feels very quiet. After Galang's infusion runs out, we go home. I'll take care of the administrative expenses first huh!" Om Bobby stood up and gently rubbed Ariel's hair. His smile calmed Ariel down.

"Thank you very much, Om. Without Om, I don't know where to go. Om is like my guardian angel" said Ariel from the deepest heart.

"What angel? There's no angel as bad as me? I'll take care of the administration first!" Bobby left Ariel and Galang.

Ariel stared at the strapping back of Om Bobby. "Thank you, Om," said Ariel softly.

Ariel rubbed Galang's hair that fell asleep after being given the drug by a doctor. "Son, we're staying at Om's house for a while. Don't be naughty, son. Om Bobby is our guardian angel."

Soon Om Bobby came back after paying for medical expenses. "Riel, go! We're home!"

"Yes, Om."
