Of me and my heart

Of me and my heart
Prologues.

September, 2013.

I will tell you about my past where I once married a Malaysian man. But before that I want to introduce myself.

My name is He Karin who was 17 years old. Where at the age of I was still very young must migrate to the neighboring country, because of economic problems.

I who used to be said to have a cold nature, only use the nodding gesture of the head to others, which resulted in many neighbors who do not like me. Another thing if you are with family.

In my family members consist of 6 people who have differences in nature namely father, three brothers, me and nephew.

...

My father's name is H. Hashim Subli. He is a Dayak from Sampit, Central Kalimantan. He was a strong and loving father to his children.

...

My first brother was named H. Wenah Kalaw. She is a beautiful woman, firm and strict in terms of worship.

...

My second brother's name is H. Kamila Lamiang's. She is a beautiful, loving, and obedient woman. He will do whatever he thinks is good.

...

My third brother's name is H. Danum Purok's. He was a quiet, indifferent, loving and not much manly man. He will only mingle with people he feels comfortable with his family including his sister.

...

And lastly I have a quiet and kind nature. I myself will only show the nature of a lot of nonsense to people I think can be trusted.

Drttt .. drttt .. drttt ...

My phone rang beside the mattress, I who was napping was immediately grabbed the phone. "Hello ...."

"Dek ... Where are you?"

"Room, why mbak ...?" answer with your eyes closed.

"Tomorrow at 7am you must get ready!" he said across there.

I still don't understand just keep asking. "Jam 7 am ...? Where am I going?"

"Tomorrow there will be a tekong (tekong is a person who takes care of the departure abroad) there, to pick you up because he wants you to go to Malaysia" he explained.

I who heard that opened my eyes wide, did not believe what my brother said. "Huh?! Why suddenly Mama?"

"Already! Don't ask too many questions, hurry! You clean up your clothes that you will wear on the trip later. Remember!! Don't bring too many clothes! Here mbak has prepared all your needs," he said at length.

Tut .. tut ... The phone connection was also cut off.

"Haaaah .. What the hell is that? why all of a sudden," I grumbled. I got out of bed and rushed to the direction where my father used to sit.

"Mr ...?" call me when you find your father on the porch.

"What's up?" saith.

"Barusan mbak called, he said I have to take care of my departure passport tomorrow," I said.

I just nodded small and said. "Go .. while it can keep you from trouble here."

"What did you say, sir? I'm not in trouble! I work sir" I replied with a slightly irritated face. I know even though I worked at my friend's fried rice shop. I have not been able to meet the needs of my family.

I just nodded because I knew I was just a burden on the family at the time. I stood up and left the father who might have been staring at me.

"Hmm ... early rin tumben? Usually you always come late," said Erma son of the owner of the stall.

"Yes, I just want to be on time" I said with a smile and started my work.

***

The time has already shown at 11pm where the stall is closed. I who was finished some went straight to aunt Rus (shop owner) to take the salary because I was in the daily salary.

"Today is your salary, son" said aunt Rus, offering twenty thousand dollars.

"Thank you bi ..," I said.

"Yes are the same."

"Aunt ...?" call me again.

"Yes, what's wrong, son?"

"Bi .. I just want to say that today I want to stop."

Aunt Rus who was counting her sales immediately stopped her for a moment, then raised her head. "Why son? Your salary is not enough, is it? Aunt add more if you want."

I also shook my head. "No aunty .. The salary that aunty gave me was enough."

"Then why do you want to stop?" aunt Rus held my hand while holding it.

"My sister told me to catch up with her aunt."

Aunt Rus let go of her hand while nodding. "Ah, it turns out so. Yasudah then aunty prayed that it would run smoothly yes son," he said then reached into a plastic bag that had money from the sale, he took out a hundred thousand and immediately gave it to me, " Take this ...! Use this money when you want to eat while taking care of your passport" he added.

"But this bi."

"You've just taken it! Let's just say it's a gift from your aunt for you."

I finally took the money from aunt Rus' gift and thanked her and said goodbye to go home.

"I'm home ... Sir? I'm home" I said when I got home but no word was heard from my father. I went into the house and it turns out my father was sleeping on the sofa in front of the tv. I approached her and confirmed the blanket that had fallen to the floor.

At home there were only three of us because mbak Wenah and Bang Danum were in Malaysia while mbak Kamila followed her husband to Sampang city.

I went to my room and cleaned up and went to sleep.

...****...

The next day I got ready and waited for the arrival of the person I picked up to take care of the departure preparations. Exactly at 8 people who were waiting finally came and without heading for long we also left for Surabaya.

On travel ... I could feel that the person next to me was watching me. I was uncomfortable with it and looked at "What are you looking at?"

The one who was caught was just smiling. "No, I'm just wondering, do you really want to work?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"You're too young to move into a land of people."

"No problem while it can be made to eat," said I who had been staring at the outside view from the direction of the car glass.

No more talk came out of that man's mouth. I continued to look at the outside scenery without any intention of diverting it in the other direction.

A few hours later ...

We arrived and immediately picked up a ticket. There I am not alone because there are two people who also do document management.
