Samantha once again set herself in front of the large mirror in her room. He returned his lips with a pink lipstick and tidied back the dress he was wearing today. Long dress made from shiffon sleeveless became the choice of Samantha this time. Her hair is just a tall loop so it displays her tiered neck and white. Dozens of flawless makeup is always the choice of Samantha every attended dinner. Makes it look so beautiful and fresh.
"Perfect," he murmured. Not forgetting the little smile back to decorate her face.
Geck...
Geck...
Geck...
The sound of knocking from outside, made the girl turn towards the door. He almost went out and met the Ocean, until the sound of the knocking paused.
Samantha walked towards the door and opened the door of her room slowly. His smile again expands when he sees the figure of a strapping man in a striped shirt suit complete with light brown cloth pants with both arms that he rolls up to the elbow.
The ocean stood up by putting one hand in her pants pocket. Looking at Samantha.
Her lips never stopped smiling looking at the figure of the girl who always filled her heart.
"You look so beautiful, baby." Samudra said.
As usual, the girl harrumphed at the praise that was thrown from the mouth of the Ocean.
"Sir Am is also handsome tonight" replied Samantha timidly.
"Let off now?"
"Hm" nodded Samantha.
The two then walked together. One hand of the Ocean grasped tightly the back of Samantha's hand. Link each other's fingers.
...
Samudra's black SUV stopped right in front of a large house with an old European architecture. Almost like a castle palace in a fairyland.
Samantha's heart is now pounding, between fear and groggy. This was the first time he had met Samudra's grandparents. Moreover, Samantha knows the past story between Baskoro and Samuel as well as Maya.
Samudra opened the car door for her girl, sticking her right hand towards Samantha. Intended to take the girl and bring her into the big house owned by the family of her late biological mother's parents.
"Sister...."
"Hm?"
"I'm afraid.." great-grandson Samantha.
"Why should I be afraid? There's a sister."
A gentle swab of the Ocean rested on Samantha's cheek, perhaps trying to calm the girl down.
"Don't be afraid, there's a sister." Said the man to give a sense of calm to the beautiful girl who was currently really frightened.
The girl's fingers even felt cold. The ocean just kept holding it tight.
"They must like you, baby." The ocean again whispered in between their steps.
Samantha could only nod slowly, as she continued to tap the heels with the broken white color she was wearing.
"Den Samudra. long time not here, aunt until kangen..." A woman who was a little tadpun wearing traditional Javanese clothes immediately welcomed the arrival of Samudra and Samantha.
"Well..this must be Non Samantha huh? The daughter of Den Samuel and Non Maya?" guess the aunt.
Samantha nodded slowly, she returned the friendly smile of the woman. "Yes bik."
"Let's Den, Aden has been awaited by Mr and Madam." Bibik let the two enter, the woman's body was slightly bent, allowing the two to enter the mansion first.
"Thank you, Bik!"
Only the respectful nod of the bibik's head responded.
...
The two walked deeper into Baskoro's mansion. The nervousness that Samantha felt had not even disappeared. Astonished, the more he tightened his finger link between the big fingers of the Ocean, the more nervous it made him uncomfortable.
Though usually by grasping the hand of the Ocean, the girl always felt calm. But not tonight.
Until the two arrive at one room with a large round table. There are also some ornaments of jars, paintings and antique flower vases.
Netra Ocean suddenly broke. The ones in the room weren't just his grandparents. But there was a man about forty years old who he met at the inauguration party of the grandfather's hotel. Not only that, Samudra also saw a young and beautiful girl. At least that's what anyone in the mind sees from behind. The girl who was there with her grandparents was standing a little distance away and turned her back to the Ocean and Samantha.
"This is the one who is waiting for." said Baskoro welcome his grandson. One hug from Baskoro welcomed the arrival of Samudra. Likewise with Elsi, the woman with gray hair was now hugging the grandson tightly. "Son, how are you?" elsi asked as she patted the handsome face of Samudra.
"Good, Grandma. Grandma herself healthy?"
"Health, praise God!" answer Elsi. In contrast to Baskoro, Elsi's friendly smile still developed as soon as she saw Samantha coming with the Ocean.
"This must be Samantha Olivia Prime? Grandchild of Anita?" ask Elsi.
"Yes, Grandma." Samantha nodded, the girl immediately grabbed the back of the middle-aged woman's hand and kissed her.
"It's big of you" said Elsi as soon as Samantha finished kissing the back of her hand.
"Anita how are you?"
"Thank God, Grandma Anita is fine, Grandma."
"Oh-thank God." Elsi answered with relief.
"Samoudra!" Baskoro interrupts his wife's conversation with the girl he still considers the son of a family he hates.
"You certainly remember Mr. Elano Wijaya, don't you?" Baskoro re-introduced.
Ocean nodded. "Of course Kek, Am remembers Mr. Elano Wijaya." The ocean extended its hand to greet him.
"Well, I won't forget this young and handsome doctor either. Moreover, he is your grandson Mr. Baskoro." The man received the handshake of the Ocean and then chuckled softly.
"Oh yes grandfather also wants to introduce you to Mr. Wijaya's daughter, he is also a prospective doctor as well and who knows if Mr. Wijaya's daughter could one day become a doctor in a hospital that you will soon lead, not so Ocean?"
Samudra just smiled in response, while Samantha who had been beside the Ocean was plotting the two neutrals following the direction of Baskoro's hand when she wanted to introduce the daughter of a colleague or business friend Baskoro.
"Alicia.." call Elano Wijaya, before long the figure of a tall girl with curly hair walked over.
The beautiful girl slowly walked closer towards them. How shocked the Ocean was when the girl Baskoro and Wijaya summoned turned out to be someone Samudra knew. Likewise with Samantha, the girl's eyes even fiddled when she saw the girl's figure.
Samudra did not even blink her eyes, she did not expect that the girl who had become someone meaningful in her life turned out to be the biological daughter of Elano Wijaya, the grandfather's business partner.
"Ve?" samudra said he did not believe.
The girl turns out to be Veronika, Ocean's former lover. The girl he left for Samantha.
"Hey, Mom..." Veronika smiled
"So you guys know? Good, isn't that so, Mr Baskoro?" elano Wijaya said with a smile.
"Yes, it's of course good that you know each other." Baskoro smiled happily while having a beard. He also patted the shoulders of the Ocean.
"We're old friends, Pah. Isn't that Am?" Veronika again drew her sweet smile towards the Ocean.
While Samudra only nodded slowly, not wanting to answer anything other than nodding and smiling knots.
A few seconds later Veronika's gaze now turned towards Samantha who was standing glued beside the Ocean. Although from earlier the big hand of the Ocean always held it tightly, but the awkwardness is still clearly visible on the look of the girl's face.
"Hello Samantha, long time no see?" Veronika greeted politely.
Or trying to be polite to look good in Baskoro's eyes? I don't know.
"Hi, Brother." A slightly awkward smile Samantha presented to Veronika as well as Baskoro, as the old man looked cynically at her.
"Oh well now it's time for dinner, let's Mr. Wijaya. Come on Veronika, consider it your own home."
"Wait a minute" Elano Wijaya interrupted Baskoro. The man looked towards Samantha who had just stood quietly beside the Ocean.
"And who is this? Your family is Mr Baskoro?" Elano looked at Samantha from head to toe. Makes the girl feel uneasy when seen in such a way.
"Oh she is the daughter of the Prime family." Answer Baskoro.
Elano pulled a part of his eyebrows, Prime? What do you mean is Samuel Perdana? inner Elano.
Samantha only smiled politely while nodding her head slowly towards Elano.
"It's not something that matters." Baskoro said later.
The man's words of course made Samantha put on a surprised face. That night he realized. If Baskoro, Samudra's grandfather doesn't like him.
"Samantha is my fiancee, Mr. Wijaya." The ocean interrupted the conversation that was happening. The man stared intently at Baskoro, as if saying - Oh, come on, Cake.
To be continue...
