Ocean&Samantha
After Proms

Samudra enters a special ballroom owned by the Superior High School building. The room looks so festive decorated trinkets typical prom night parties in general. Colorful ribbons, heart-shaped balloons that are also attractive colors and also sparkling disco lights to complement the event. Although the Rolex watch on the Ocean's wrist was ten o'clock at night, the festive excitement was still evident. The proof is that there are still many twelfth graders who crowd while joking with their classmates even though they are from different classes. There are also some cool dancing with their respective partners, following the strains of songs that DJ presents.

It also seemed that some of the Superior High School teachers were around there, watching the continuity of the farewell party of their students. The school certainly does not want any unexpected events during the prom night event.

This is not the first time the school has hosted this event. Since 2015 this event has become a tradition of High School Excellence. Including when Samudra graduated from the school. The same excitement he could feel like a few years ago.

Netra Ocean rotated around, looking for the figure of the girl who belonged to him. Samantha is looking for Samantha who is wearing a chiffon dress with lace accents that are sweetening, lilac-colored dresses look so graceful wrapped in Samantha's beautiful body. Even able to make Samudra almost drool when he picked up the girl, Samantha saw Samantha coming down the stairs of their mansion with amazing. The light material of the chiffon made a graceful movement as the girl walked down one by one the circular steps.

The ocean is like seeing an angel descending from heaven. More than an angel, to the Ocean, Samantha was more like an angel to him.

"Sister Am!" a voice that he certainly memorized.

He rotated looking for the voice, until finally a girl who had been looking for it, was now in front of his eyes. The curl hair that remains beautiful as when he drove it earlier still looks so stunning. Makes her look like a princess

The ocean flashed a smile before it walked over to the girl who had been the chandelier all along.

"The ceremony at Grandpa Baskoro's hotel is over?" samantha asked as the distance between the two got closer.

Samudra nodded slowly, smiling as he looked at the figure that was now standing so close to him.

"Want me to get a drink?" bargain Samantha.

"No thanks. You're here, sister still misses you" whispered the gentle Ocean and could always make Samantha blush.

"Where's prom? Pleasant?"

Samantha nodded quickly. "Hm, very pleasant," he answered excitedly.

"Well dance?" ask Samudra again. Her net was staring intently as she waited for an answer from Samantha.

"I haven't danced since."

The ocean at a glance breathed a sigh of relief. His little smile was perfectly attracted when he found out that this girl was really waiting for him.

"Why?" tanya Samudra fishing.

"Don't you ask me why. I'm waiting for you darling." Samantha answered while rolling her naughty eyeballs.

The ocean then extended its hand right in front of Samantha while slightly bowing. "Would you dance with me, my princess?" said Samudra, exactly like the Cinderella movie scene that Samantha often saw when she was a child.

Samantha smiled at what the man was doing, and she received the hand of the Ocean and put together their palms.

The two then danced to the music that happened to be slow and romantic.

Samantha seemed to have no trouble at all following the movements of the Ocean, gracefully the girl was able to compensate for the dance movements of the Ocean. The two stuck their chests together, Ocean wrapped his arms around Samantha's small waist and stared gently at Samantha's brown bead eyes. Occasionally a small kiss he landed on the forehead of his little girl. Of course the Ocean tried to resist the urge to kiss the girl's lips, he did not want to make a scene all the people who were there. Especially the teachers and other schools.

"Son't wish we weren't at prom school." The ocean whispered softly. While continuing to move both their bodies following the strains of romantic music, the closeness of both of them certainly got an envious response from someone standing across from them.

The figure stood up by clenching his palm tightly. The netraannya also seemed to look nyalang towards the two.

....

"Sister tonight back to the apartment?" samantha asked after the two reached the front of their mansion courtyard.

"Yes, sorry." The ocean replied in a weak tone.

"Actually I really want to sleep here tonight, but there is material that you have to prepare for tomorrow's seminar." The ocean paused for a while, looking into the bead of the girl's eyes that was currently beside her.

"And those materials are on my sister's laptop. And--unfortunately, my sister's laptop is in the apartment," continued Samudra.

"I'm sorry.." the great-grandson of the Ocean was full of regret.

"Yes, not papa."

For a moment things became quiet.

"When are you going to graduation?"

"Wednesday tomorrow, why?" Samantha frowned.

"Tomorrow's wednesday?"

"Yes" nodded Samantha. "What's the matter, brother?" now the girl stared at the full-quest Ocean.

"Ngga.. ngga papa," the man's bell.

"There's nothing, baby..."

"Lied!"

"Really!" The ocean chuckles amusedly at Samantha's smug expression.

"Have you entered yet, sir Moms-Dad, they must be waiting for you to come home."

"Hm" Samantha nodded.

"Smuch careful on the road. Don't speed it up." Samantha is making funny lips.

"Yes, princess..."

Samantha smiled for a while before she finally came out of the Ocean's shiny black sedan as her hand waved towards the Ocean.

"Come in first, I want to make sure you're safe inside the house."

Samantha chuckles amusedly. There-is just this Ocean, the mind.

....

After attending a seminar held by Centra Medika hospital. Samudra tried to approach Baskoro, but the middle-aged man was still busy talking to the other hospital directors. And Samudra patiently waited for him until the two men who were both middle-aged finished speaking with four eyes.

"Grandfather, can you have a minute?"

"Of course, are we going to Grandpa's room?"

"We'll just talk here, Cake."

"Oh okay, now talk."

"I want to propose to Samantha" Samudra said to the point.

"And Am, ask for my grandfather's blessing. Because only grandfather is the biological family that Samudra has." Samudra continued.

There was no immediate answer from Baskoro, the man looked like he was thinking about something.

"Are you sure about that little girl, Am?" ask Baskoro then.

"Samudra sure, Cake! After Samantha's graduation. I'm planning on proposing to her and I hope grandfather will be Ocean's guardian."

"Is he not too young for you, Am? You guys previously grew up together and-" Baskoro didn't continue his words. The middle-aged man looked sharply at the Ocean.

"Samudra is confident in its own choice of Ocean, Cake!"

It appears Baskoro breathed a rough breath when he heard his grandson's confession.

"Grandfather! the event was even long gone." The Ocean finally. It was as if he knew what his grandfather was thinking.

Instantly both of Baskoro's old eyes fiddled. Remembering what happened a few decades ago. Indeed, Baskoro still can not forgive Samuel and his parents when the man left Martha, his daughter. For the sake of a woman named Maya, and now the two men are Samantha's parents, the girl that Samudra wants to marry, her granddaughter.

"Before Mommy died, Moms had even forgotten their dispute. And Moms loves Daddy so much."

"But for grandfather, Samuel and the family remain inexcusable. Especially that woman named Maya!"

The ocean took a rough breath. He could no longer bear the childish attitude shown by his own grandfather.

"They're not wrong, Cake. They were the ones who took care of the Ocean all this time. They love the Ocean, even the opa Permana and the omah Anita-they consider the Ocean like their own grandchildren. Then grandpa...? Where was Grandpa when the Ocean was left behind by Moms-Dad?" Answer the fiery Ocean. He paused for a moment to take a breath. The ocean is trying to rearrange its emotions.

"Even when his only grandfather's daughter, Am's biological mother died-grandfather did not even attend his funeral, did he, Cake?!"

Baskoro was stunned to hear the words of his grandson. He looked at the Ocean with regretful eyes, yet his lips seemed to be tightly closed.

There was only a temporary silence, until the Ocean stood up from its seat.

"With or without grandfather's consent, Samantha will marry Samantha." The ocean finally passed leaving Baskoro still sitting in a spacious room with many chairs circling a round table.

The ocean came out of the room, leaving Baskoro who remained silent. The old man could only stare at the back of the Ocean walking out from behind the door. Until the dashing figure of his grandson finally completely disappeared behind the door of the room.

Baskoro took a slow breath. The grudge of the past now seems to be coming back through the plans of his grandson.

to be continue....
