28. Private Room

After finishing lunch with his older brother, Lilian returned to her room to rest. Arriving in Lilian's room was astonished to see Rosa sitting on the floor with a face she had hidden in both folds of her hands.

"Rosa are you okay?" Ask Lilian to make sure.

Rosa then lifted her head and looked at Lilian softly, suddenly Rosa immediately hugged Lilian's feet.

"Miss.pardon me Miss.I have been guilty." Said Rosa crying hysterically under Lilian's feet.

"What are you doing Rosa? don't hug my legs like this, what have you done?" Lilian asked confusedly.

"I don't mean to tell you, sir, I just meant to protect Miss.Sorry Miss, please don't sell me." Rosa's crying became more and more.

"Aisss..why should I sell you? You've been with me a long time so where might I sell you, ayoo." Said Lilian while pulling Rosa's hand to stand up.

Rosa shook her head. "Please promise me. If Miss won't sell me" Rosa said.

"I promise." Say softly

Rosa then wiped away her tears then released her hands on Lilian's feet and stood up.

"Thank you Miss." Rosa Say.

"Yes..." Lilian said briefly then walked up to her bed and lay on it, "Part of why I should sell you, you even grew up with me and all this time you've been looking after me so well, the first time I opened my eyes the only person I saw first was you, so there was no reason for me to sell you." Said Lilian casually.

"Again thanks Miss." Rosa cried again.

"Why are you still crying? I told you I wouldn't sell you, I should thank you for helping me a lot, every morning you always come early to bring breakfast and prepare my clothes and needs for the whole day." Lilian.

"It is my duty, Miss, to be ready when you need." Said Rosa who had stopped crying.

"Yes, you don't have to be afraid to sell because I need you." Lilian said with a smile towards Rosa.

"Although Miss lost her memory yet the kind and kind nature of your heart remains the same." Rosa said cheerfully.

Lilian got up from her sleep and sat down on the side of the bed. "Happy and kind? Don't people say I'm arrogant and selfish?" Ask Lilian.

"Only fools say that Miss, they're stupid for believing what that mad Miss said." Rosa Say.

"A crazy person?" Lilian asked confusedly.

"Yes...Miss who last dealt with us, she was very good at playing the role, all this time she kept bothering Miss and in the end she will act as a victim and then spread false news about you." Rosa said annoyedly remembering Raina's face.

"May we never see the serpent woman again." Lilian.

"Snake woman?" Ask Rosa.

"It is more worthy to be called a serpent." Lilian.

"Miss is right." Said Rosa with a smile.

"Oh yes Rosa, you told me that I've been to a restricted area, and then what I did in that place." Lilian asked curiously.

Rosa looked left and right and then walked to the door and closed it and walked up to Lilian's bed.

"You why?" Ask Lilian.

"This is a very important discussion Miss, no one should know." Rosa's voice lowered her voice.

"Take that chair and sit here and tell me what happened." Said Lilian curiously.

Rosa followed Lilian's orders and sat down in the chair she took and began to tell stories.

"Actually that day Miss left because she got a mysterious letter from someone." Said Rosa quietly.

"Then?" Tanya Lilian was serious.

"The contents of the letter said that if Miss wants to know a secret then come to the forbidden area." Rosa Say.

"Because my curiosity is too great out of my fear then I go there?" Ask Lilian.

"Yes Miss, I have forbidden you to approach the place but Miss still insistent on wanting to go there, to make sure you are fine then Miss told me to wait for you in a tree near the forbidden area. Rosa Say.

"What happened after that?" Lilian asked curiously.

"I don't know Miss, when Miss entered the area it was still early morning and Miss came back by late afternoon, because I was so worried about your situation then I decided to enter the forbidden area and wanted to catch up with you but before I came in it was Miss already coming with a bundle of cloth behind your dress." Rosa said remembering.

"What's that bundle of stuff?" Said Lilian curiously.

Rosa turned left and right and brought her face closer to Lilian. "A proof that shows someone has betrayed in this kingdom Miss." Said Rosa quietly.

"Then do you know who betrayed that?" Said Lilian curiously.

"Where is the bundle?" Ask Lilian.

"In your private room, miss." Said Rosa quietly.

"I have a private room?" Lilian asked in disbelief.

Rosa nodded then walked towards Lilian's dressing table, where there was a flower-shaped crystal ball at the edge of the table, Rosa then turned the ball and suddenly the dressing table split in two and a door appeared that led to another room.

Lilian could not hide her surprise at the sight of the door. "Oh my God, a room like this really exists, all this time I was suspicious of the existence and what the function of the crystal ball was but who would have thought it was the key to open this room." Lilian.

"Mr Duke Marven did deliberately make you a special room to study, Miss is very fast when it comes to learning therefore I never feel surprised that Miss found many new things because before Miss often do those things." Rosa Say.

Lilian thought hard about what had really happened. "Prince Seint said that if the body I was currently in was very mysterious, how could a girl seem to be able to handle the affairs of a traitor when a girl his age was busy dressing up, there seems to be something strange about the owner of this body and even more strangely why should I be the one stuck here?" Inner Lilia.

"Miss are you okay?" Rosa asked worried about seeing Lilian who had been calling just silent.

"You take it easy Rosa I'm fine, can we go in now?" Lilian asked as she pointed at the door.

"Ahh please Miss, this is your own room." Said Rosa then walked in Lilian's footsteps.

When Lilian entered the room the first time Lilian felt was a comfortable and soothing feeling, even more so in the room was the scent of daisy that Lilian loved.

"Here is the scent of daisy, hasn't it been since I realized that no one has entered this room?" Ask Lilian.

"Sure Miss, no one would dare to enter this room without your permission, even if Miss doesn't ask about this room then it will probably forever remain closed." Rosa Say.

"But why do I feel like I'm here smelling daisy?" Ask Lilian.

"Because Miss always keeps a daisy-flavored fragrance in every corner of the room before the fragrance runs out on its own, the aroma will still be able to smell" said Rosa.

"Why should daisy flower? Why not some other flower?" Ask Lilian.

"Miss what kind of question it is, Miss may not realize this small thing but even though Miss lost her memory but the only thing you don't forget is your fondness for daisy flowers, Miss even planted the flower in the room and kept it by the window so that the flowers never lacked sunlight." Lilian.

"It's getting weird, why everything I like is also liked by the girl who owns this body, our habits are the same, the name is the same, too, the behavior is even almost the same and why I was in this girl's body then where is the spirit of the girl whose body I occupy." Inner Lilian.

"Miss why since you entered this room you have always daydreamed? Did Miss remember something." Ask Rosa.

"No. No Rosa, I just feel comfortable in this room." Lilian.

"Of course Miss, this room is your private space so it's appropriate Miss is comfortable." Rosa Say.

Lilian then walked more and more inside, when until Lilian could see there were many bookshelves neatly arranged and began to dust because it was quite a long time the room was never opened and cleaned.

Lilian looked at the books arranged on the shelves, there were many types of books that Lilian found, from literary books to natural knowledge and royal politics there were all there.

"It seems that the owner of this body really likes books, no wonder he has a great curiosity when looking at the collection of books he reads." Inner Lilian.

Lilian then walked over to a long table at the end of the room, where there were many hand-streaks on the paper. "It looks like the original Lilian's writing." The batteries.

Then he read one by one the writings on the papers, Lilian frowned when reading them. "It looks like it's a puzzle I need to solve." Inner Lilian.

Then Lilian checked all the items on the table one by one, "It seems I was a person who had a high curiosity." Said Lilian while paying attention to one by one the items on the table.

"Just like now, the look on your face is like saying if Miss wants to remember everything." Said Rosa with a small smile.

"You're right." Said Lilian laughing in response to the speech from Rosa then she saw some neatly arranged scrolls at the end of the table. "What is this." Ask Lilian.

"It was a letter sent by that mysterious person Miss." Rosa Say.

Hearing him Lilian felt curious and opened the contents of the scroll. There is a writing written like Rosa told. Before Lilian could save the scroll, Lilian smelled the scent of perfume on the letter.

"It looks like this paper was previously soaked using perfumed oil." Said Lilian while smelling the paper roll and she felt strange with the scent of the paper.

"It smells like a mixture of fragrant oils and the smell of something I recognize but I forget what it smells like." Said Lilian again.

"Miss can come here as often as possible, don't make it hard to remember everything." Rosa Say.

"You're right, we should just go back.I want to get some rest.My brain now can't digest everything well today." Lilian then walked out of the room followed by Rosa.

Lilian then closed the door again and told Rosa to let her rest on her own.

"I'll solve this riddle." Inner Lilian then closed her eyes.
