129. The Lilious Stories of the Past

Lilian stared long at Citto who was lying on her bed. There was a lot he was thinking about in his mind. After he saw the color of the crystal ball, Lilian was finally able to meet the soul of her past or her past self.

Lilian is shown the times when she in the past had to fight alone against all the enemies who planned to rule the world. Lilian's tears trickled down without her realizing it as she had to be shown how much suffering she had to endure in her past.

That morning, Lilian came out with Rosa to an artificial lake on the edge of the city. On the way Lilian met people who wore clothes that Lilian thought were strange. Because of his curiosity, Lilian told Rosa to keep waiting for him by the lake and he himself followed the people who wore the strange clothes.

Lilian followed the men into the forest not far from the artificial lake. There Lilian saw many people wearing the same clothes as the people she was following.

The men simultaneously wore face coverings and formed a Circle formation. After the formation had been formed, the people made movements that Lilian said were very strange.

I don't know what those people were doing but after all their movements were done, those people immediately dispersed themselves. Seeing the crowd disperse, Lilian finally quickly ran away from the people to avoid being caught.

From that day on, Lilian continued to investigate what the people were actually doing. He began to seek information about the movements until he had to learn a foreign language to translate words in a book that dealt with several tribes.

There have been many books that Lilian has read but none of them discuss what the people did. Frustrated, Lilian finally returned to leave her residence with Rosa's company to the artificial lake to calm her mind.

But before his step to the destination, Lilian again saw the people wearing strange clothes again. Lilian decided to follow the men back by taking Rosa with her.

After finishing with the move, everyone again dispersed themselves like before. That made Lilian even more curious about what those people were doing.

The book explains that the movements were carried out to summon mythical animals. The movements had to be performed in five different places for the ritual to be perfect.

Lilian had already twice watched those people make the same move. I don't know how many times those people have made those moves.

Eventually Lilian was determined to stop those people at all costs. But after that day Lilian no longer met with people who wore strange clothes anymore.

Lilian did not give up, day after day she passed by gathering information that led her to a bright spot. Lilian finally solved everything she wanted to know.

The ritual was done not to summon dragons but the formation was made to summon other mythical beasts. All this time people thought the ritual was done to summon a dragon turned out all their guesses were wrong. Those people had previously known that dragons would not be easily conquered because dragons would only be obedient animals to the chosen people.

No wonder that Marquis Gaustark and his companions did not recognize the form of the Citto from the beginning. That's because they perform other mythical animal summoning rituals instead of dragons.

Until those people found out that the mastermind of their failure was Lilian. The men finally decided to capture Lilian by pretending to perform the formation and intended to make Lilian a victim.

Lilian entered their trap and was caught by the men in too much of a hurry to make a decision. Lilian was brought to the center of the formation with her hands and feet tied until her mouth was gagged with a cloth. Lilian did not rebel at all, her attitude was very calm and the girl simply observed the surroundings.

Lilian was in a hurry to make a decision but she was a smart girl. Lilian had already prepared another plan in case he was caught. Lilian had told people that if she would enter a haunted place if she did not return for a long time, she wished those who saw her to enter the area as soon as possible help out.

The formation was almost complete but the sound of footsteps was heard approaching towards them. Lillian again managed to foil their plan. Before the men dispersed, Lilian managed to grab a crystal ball that made the Leader of the people angry and chase after her.

Lilian kept running to make her feet bleed because she always stepped on a tree branch and accidentally injured her feet. Until Lilian was no longer strong to run and almost fell unconscious if no grandfather came to her aid and took Lilian to her house.

Unable to capture Lilian, the leader of the men began to make Lilian a target for crimes by the men. Lilian, who was saved by Grandpa, presented the crystal ball to Grandpa and said that the grandfather would only sell the crystal ball to Duke Marven.

Because the grandfather's financial condition was very lacking, the grandfather immediately agreed to Lilian's request and drove Lilian back home. The letter Lilian got turned out to be a trap for the girl but Lilian already understood better what they were planning to do to her. For that Lilian continued to hide and did not appear even though the formation had been completed.

The men thought Lilian did not understand the contents of the letter so it took time to figure out the contents of the letter. They then plan to carry out the ritual that they really want to complete.

The sound of many girls screaming hysterically because they do not want to be used as a result of the ritual. Lilian remained silent and watched the ritual so seriously that her hearing heard a cry for help not far from her position in hiding.

With slow steps and a pale face Lilian tried to release all the captives and accidentally hit the Leader's body.

He saw the person's identification and then ran away after taking the identification. Lilian returned to the bayah man but the condition of the man was no longer helped. Before the bayah man breathed his last, he gave Lilian some options.

Feeling that his soul would disappear bit by bit. Lilian wrote down everything she experienced on a note using white wine vinegar. Lilian learned more about the mantra taught by the bayah man to exchange his soul for the soul of another who she hoped would be able to help her.

Hearing the consecutive questions from Rosa made Lilian even sadder and continued to cry. Feeling Lilian would not calm down easily, Rosa ran out of the room to look for Zheyan and took him to comfort Lilian.

Not long after, Zheyan came with Asgar and Rosa walking in haste and drew closer to Lilian. Zheyan gently rubbed Lilian's head and carried her in his arms. After feeling Lilian a little calm, Zheyan then took off her embrace and wiped Lilian's tears.

"Do you feel pain? Should I call a healer?" Ask Zheyan gently.

Lilian shook her head slowly. "I'm fine." Lilian hoarse voice.

Asgar immediately grabbed the glass on Lilian's table and filled it with water and gave it to Lilian. Lilian received the glass and drank the water until it ran out.

"What's wrong?" Ask Zheyan gently.

Lilian shook her head again. "There's nothing." The answer.

Zheyan and Asgar threw eyes at each other and refocused on Lilian. "It's okay if you don't want to tell it. But you can't think too much about it, you'll be sick yourself." Said gently.

Lilian recalled that if she was hurt, the one who would get her pain was Lilian, the past made her bow her head again sadly.

"Whatever you're thinking right now, Brother is sure everything will be fine." Say Asgar while rubbing Lilian's head slowly.
