26. Making Coffee and Chocolate

A very bright morning as bright as Lilian's heart at the moment. From the moment he woke up from his sleep Lilian was unceasing to not smile.

Today was the day Lilian had been waiting for, where Lilian would prove her words. Although the closest people believed his words but Lilian could see the uncertain gaze they always aimed at Lilian.

"Finally the day I've been waiting for has come, for the first time I'm going to make hot coffee and chocolate here." Lilian said to herself as she reflected in her room.

As Lilian was tidying up her dress, footsteps could be heard entering Lilian's room and walking closer to Lilian.

"The Crown Prince, Mr. Artem and Mr. Asgar have arrived Miss, Mr. Duke Marven told you to leave the guest room immediately." Rosa said politely.

"Then let's go." Said Lilian and walked towards the living room followed by Rosa behind her.

When he arrived at the guest room, Lilian could see there were already Seint, Zheyan, Artem, Asgar and his two parents who were chatting.

"Good morning everyone." Speak Lillian politely.

"Good morning too." Say everything.

"How are you doing this morning? Your body still hurts?" Ask mother.

"No mother, thanks to the drink made by Rosa my body is refreshed." Lilian then glanced at Rosa. "Thank you, yeah." Said Lilian who was nodded by Rosa.

"Why are you Lilian?" Zheyan asked confusedly.

"Ahh nothing really, last night my body was just sore because of too much activity but now it's much better really." Said Lilian with a smile.

"Next time you don't have to push yourself." Zheyan.

"Good Brother." Lilian.

"Rest us. We'll come another time." Seint said and started to stand up from his seat.

Lilian rounded her eyes to hear Seint's words. "Look, I've been waiting for this day for a long time, even today I wake up very early, yes Rosa." Lilian said annoyedly and looked towards Rosa.

"Yes your honor." Rosa Say.

"You're sick again." Seint Vocational

"Who said I was sick? You don't see me fresh like this?" Lilian.

"What's wrong with you all?" Ask Lilian.

Duke Marven cleared his throat slowly to melt the atmosphere that was happening. They all had not expected Lilian would give such an adorable look to persuade Seint. Moreover, the response that Seint showed was that he was wrong when stared at by Lilian while Lilian herself looked fine.

"Then what are you waiting for? Let's go to the kitchen." Lilian.

"For what?" Asgar asked confusedly.

"Yes...to make drinks especially? What the hell are you guys doing?" Lilian began to get upset.

"Oh yes.we must get there immediately." Zheyan said, Then stand up from his seat.

Everyone stood up from their seats and followed Lilian who walked first into the kitchen.

"Wait for my revenge Lilian will I reply, you start this war then wait and see." Inner Seint while staring horot at Lilian's back.

"Are you okay?" Artem asked quietly to Seint who now gave off his gloomy aura.

"Yes." Yeah." Said Seint flatly while staring at Lilian's sharp back.

After telling the servants to prepare the ingredients he needed, Lilian now directed the chef of her residence to pay attention to the steps of making coffee and chocolate. So that if later it is needed fitting the chef festival at his residence already understand how to make it.

First Lilian boiled water and cow's milk first, while waiting for the water and milk to boil Lilian prepared ingredients to make cakes. Because the meat can not be opened, Lilian made a cake that does not need to use butter.

Lilian then mixed all the ingredients and roasted in the furnace that her residence chef used to bake bread.

After boiling the water and milk, Lilian poured hot water into a teapot and then mixed enough coffee powder according to Lilian then added sugar and stirred it. The distinctive smell of black coffee can be smelled throughout the kitchen space of the Duke Marven residence.

"This is the kind of coffee that was expensive in my world back then, the taste and aroma is so strong." Lilian muttered softly.

All those who had only watched Lilian from that moment could only gulp down their own saliva as they smelled the delicious smell of coffee throughout the room.

After finishing brewing coffee that was only given sugar earlier, Lilian now poured hot milk back in a pot and put coffee powder and a little sugar in it and stirred it. The smell returned but this time the smell was not too thick as the first, there is a distinctive smell of savory milk mixed in the coffee.

Then Lilian poured the milk again into the teapot and put the chocolate powder, sugar, a little cinnamon and honey and stirred it. The smell returned to the whole room.

After finishing the drink, Lilian opened the stove where she had been baking chocolate cakes. The fragrant smell again filled the room but this time the smell was very uploading making everyone could not bear to ask.

"Is it not finished?" Zheyan asked as he glanced at the cake Lilian was holding.

"In the meantime, just the topping is all there is to do." Lilian.

Everyone nodded then let Lilian finish her work. Lilian then put the chocolate powder into the milk that has been heated then stirred for a while then lifted it and then poured the chocolate on the cake.

"Done." Lilian said excitedly, "The waiter bring these teapots to the table there." Show Lilian to where everyone is sitting.

Then the servants brought teapots, in front of Duke Marven and the others sat down, after which Lilian came with a cake in her hand.

"Lilian what are you carrying? It smells so good." Asgar Say.

"Of course, it's called a chocolate cake, "Lillian's Happy Speaker. "Let's try it." Continue while cutting the cake.

Then they took a piece of cake and tried it. Their eyes opened very wide when they tried the cake. The taste of the cake is not too sweet but savory, when inserted in the mouth as if melted itself without chewing.

"Lilian this is the best cake I've ever tried." Illyria said happily.

"Of course, I used to say that trees in our plantations would bring benefits to our families." Lilian said happily.

"You're right Lilian, Big Brother isn't even sure of your words yet today Big Brother is supporting you completely." Zheyan said to Lilian.

"How can the cake be so good? I've tried that chocolate powder before but it tastes so bitter, when you put that chocolate powder into your cake batter, I'm worried that the cake will be bitter, but when Dad tried the cake was a little bit bitter but that makes it taste different from other cakes" said Duke Marven.

"That's one of the advantages of Daddy's chocolate, not just made into a cake, chocolate can also be used as a drink like this." Point Lilian to one of the pots filled with chocolate.

Lilian then poured the still very hot chocolate into their respective glasses. "Let's try it." Lilian.

They all drank hot chocolate. All eyes stared in amazement at the glass that still remained brown.

"Lillian besides the good smell, the taste of this chocolate is really delicious and soothing." Artem.

"Of course, the benefits of chocolate are one of them is increasing feelings of happiness and there are many more, many more, the rest I'll explain at the festival so you'll have to bring a lot of coins to enter my shop later, okay?" Lilian looked at Seint and Artem alternately.

The two then nodded briefly and Seint's eyes turned to the remaining two teapots.

"What is this?" Said Seint while pointing at the two remaining teapots.

All eyes then looked towards Seint and looked at Lilian with a gaze as if asking what the rest of the two teapots were.

"This is the coffee I added milk in place of water." Obviously Lilian, "Please drink." Said Lilian while pouring coffee into each glass.

After drinking the coffee that Lilian gave, everyone fell silent for quite a while. Different when they try chocolate that they immediately give a response.

"What's wrong? Is it not delicious?" Lilian deg-degan.
