165.Wife Instinct.

Wendy returned from the balcony of Hanum's hospital room with her face still pale and restless even though before entering the room she had washed her face in the hospital public toilet so that Hanum did not see the marks tears on his face earlier when he heard Dom's condition from Lucas.

"You okay Wendy?", asked Hanum when Wendy had just entered Hanum's room, making Wendy immediately nervous to hear the direct question from Hanum.

"I. yes I don't know why Hanum?", he asked back to cover his anxiety.

"Your face looks so swollen did you just cry?", asked Hanum to make Wendy feel a bit of excitement at hearing that direct question again.

"Well, I just had a fight with my boyfriend", he answered trying to lie to Hanum the thing that came to his mind at this time.

Hearing that Hanum immediately frowned, "Who's the lucky guy who managed to melt your heart Wendy?, what's the end of this I missed something?",hanum asked with a teasing expression made Wendy feel relieved to hear Hanum believe her lie.

"Someone special of course", replied the original Wendy by walking towards Hanum's bed, but before she reached Hanum spoke to him again.

"Can you get me Wendy's phone", the person Wendy immediately followed without any suspicion and handed the phone to Hanum.

"Who would you like to call Hanum?", Wendy asked in a stale manner to Hanum.

"Dom," he replied by starting to call Dom's number and muttering back when Dom's number was several times out of touch.

"Why his phone can't be reached if he's busy right now, it's so strange he never turns off his phone no matter what the circumstances but why his phone is not active now".

At once Wendy's face paled hearing what Hanum said and it was seen by Hanum who was indeed staring at him.

"What's the matter, why is your face pale when I talk about Dom just now Wendy?", asked Hanum who felt strange about Wendy's attitude back then.

Especially when Wendy answered her question with a sleigh made Hanum feel even more strange with Wendy's attitude towards her.

"Is there anything you're trying to hide from me, Wendy?", asked Hanum, squinting his eyes, trying to get Wendy to speak honestly with him,making Wendy more nervous she worried about Hanum thinking that she had feelings for her husband.

"There is no Hanum and don't think negatively about me because I can't possibly betray my best friend" Wendy replied quickly.

"I didn't think until that point because even if you wanted to, I'm sure you wouldn't be able to because our relationship is deeper than just a normal friend",hanum replied which made Wendy feel relieved immediately because Hanum did not suspect her.

"Thank God", he answered subconsciously relieved by Hanum's reply.

"But I suspect there's something you're hiding from me right now Wendy and it's something to do with Dom, so tell me what's wrong with dom Wendy?",hanum asked with a sharp look towards Wendy which made Wendy feel nervous again because of it and still tried to avoid saying what Lucas had told her earlier if Hanum asked about Dom's current condition.

"I. That's Lucas called me when I was outside and he said for the next few days Dom can't see you because they're out of the country now...".

"I can't believe that! ",Hanum said loudly which made Wendy surprised because Hanum immediately denied his words.

"Just tell Wendy the truth about what's going on right now with Dom because I know you're trying to hide something about Dom right now, Wendy" said Hanum who made Wendy immediately shook her head and nodded because she felt unable to hide everything from Hanum at this time.

"No Hanum, Dom's fine" Wendy replied but with a worried face that Hanum clearly saw.

"Where is he now? ",Hanum asked without listening to Wendy just now.

"In.he was abroad with Lucas Hanum", Wendy replied softly because she could no longer continue to lie about this.

"Wendy!!, I know you're lying right now so tell me what really happened to Dom and where he is now because I'm sure you know!! ",Hanum is angry to see Wendy who is still trying to keep something secret about Dom to him.

Hearing Hanum's cry instead of answering Wendy instead hugged Hanum tightly and began to cry loudly.

"Sorry... Hanum.I didn't mean to hide it but you better not ask Dom where Dom is now because Dom's not okay with Hanum",he said that made Hanum instantly speechless and his anger just disappeared from his heart.

Patted slowly shoulder Wendy tried to calm Wendy who was sobbing in her place.

"No papa Wendy Dom must be fine stop crying don't be sad about it" he said slowly making Wendy immediately release her embrace on Hanum, then look at Hanum with wonder because of the calmness of Hanum's attitude now.

"Why aren't you sad when I say Dom isn't okay but instead looks so calm?", asked Wendy who was disappointed by Hanum's overly calm reaction.

Instead of answering Wendy Hanum's question, she asked something else.

"Where is Dom now? ",Hanum asked again remained with her calm expression which made Wendy even more emotional because of it.

"In the operating room!, he is now facing life and death and you are so calm hearing this are you okay Hanum!?", Wendy asked annoyed.

Hearing that Hanum just sighed loudly without replying to Wendy's emotions.

"I want to see him will you take me there", his request remained with his original expression.

"Alright but promise me that you won't make a fuss while you're there and know how Dom really is from the team of doctors" Wendy said.

"That's not gonna happen, so you take it easy, Wendy",hanum replied with a smile towards Wendy who saw Hanum's expression feeling a little afraid because she thought it was abnormal as a wife when she heard that her husband was now in the operating room in a state between life and die.

(A wife is great she can be very calm when facing the hardest thing in her life)😊😊.
