"And tomorrow, you don't have to take me down the street. I'll meet you at your house and meet your mother to say thank you." Davan.
"Boyou'll come to our house?" Ask Jidan.
Davan nodded. "I'll go to your houses. What time is your mom coming home?" Ask Davan.
"Four hours." Answer Jihan.
"Then I'll come before five. And I'm asking that, after school, you guys go straight home. Because every time we meet, I will still count your days as my tour guide, which means you can not take another job what else works selling souvenirs. Okay?" Davan.
Jidan and Jihan nodded.
"Father will come to our house, does that mean you will leave this city and say goodbye to us?" Davan asked unwillingly.
"I don't live here, my house is in Jakarta. So in time I'll be back." Davan explained.
There was a stroke of sadness on Jidan's face. The little guy felt he was going to lose something.
"Why don't you live here?" Ask Jidan.
"You're gonna feel like you're losing me?" Davan asked expectantly.
Jidan nengangguk's.
"I'll feel lost too." Jihan Sahut.
"Please wait for me tomorrow at your house. I promise I won't let you down." said Davan.
Davan asks Becak who he hired to take Jidan and Jihan home.
"Have you paid for this rickshaw?" Ask Jihan who looks funny.
Davan nodded. "I paid for it."
"Will I pick up my mom at work, just take us home?" Ask Jihan again.
"Of course, I'll tell the tramp." Davan.
Before JJ gets home, Davan packs his delicious food from the restaurant at his hotel. He also gave a lot of fresh fruit to Jihan.
"Jid, why are you so kind to us?" Jihan asked as she travelled to Billa's workplace.
"Color he's a good man." Answer Jidan flat.
"It's lucky to be his son, not like us." Jihan said.
"Hey, we're also lucky to have a mother, Ji. Don't talk like that. If you hear it, it'll be sad." Jidan warned.
"Is our father as good as him, Jid?" Ask Jihan again.
Jidan shrugged his shoulders, "Once you go.. And I don't want to know either."
"The man who once came claimed to be his brother Father, why doesn't he come again, huh Jid? Though I was hoping if he'd come and bring Dad."
Jidan sighed. "Alright, Ji. I told you that she had the wrong person, the wrong address. Don't talk to Mom about this again, I'm gonna be sad."
Fifteen minutes later, they saw Billa walking.
"Jid, it's Mom." Exclaim Jihan.
Jidan looked in the direction that Jihan pointed to, "Mother...." Call Jidan.
Billa turned her head and scrunched her forehead as she saw Jidan and Jihan riding in a rickshaw.
"You guys here?" Ask Billa.
Jidan nodded, "The good-natured father rented a rickshaw all day to drive around Mom, and drove us home, then we wanted to pick up Mom to not get tired of walking." Said Jidan.
"Come on, come on up." Bring Jihan.
Billa went up and held Jihan. While Jidan holds groceries containing bags and shoes belonging to both of them.
From cheese, in a white suv car. Davan notices the interaction of his twins and the wife he longs for. "I'll pick you up tomorrow." Davan muttered with tears.
Davan felt that he had succeeded in seizing the hearts of his two children, evident when he saw Jidan and Jihan who were heavy to take it off.
Upon arrival home. Billa asked something that he wanted to ask about the groceries brought by Jidan and Jihan.
Jidan and Jihan knew what Billa wanted to ask, they just glanced at each other and then kept quiet.
"Where are these things from?" Ask Billa without judging.
"Mom, it was the father who bought him. He said as a gift to us who had accompanied him on the street and made him not tired of living in this city." Answer Jidan honestly.
"But if you don't like it, tomorrow we'll give it back when she gets here." Said Jihan.
Billa scrunched her forehead. "He's gonna be here?" Ask Billa.
"The father said he'd be here tomorrow afternoon to see Mom and say thank you." Answer Jidan.
"Maybe he wants to say goodbye ma'am." Jihan and Billa saw a stroke of sadness on Jidan and Jihan's face.
Jidan is very difficult to interact with others, Jidan is a critical child and a crisis of trust. But at the end of this he looks happy and more talkative.
"You like this gift?" Ask Billa.
"Can we like it, ma'am?" Ask Jidan back.
Billa smiled and nodded. "As long as it's not you who ask for it, I let it." Answer billa.
"We didn't ask for it, Mom. That man really gave it to us." Jidan replied really. "Well, Ji?" Ask Jidan to Jihan.
"Yes Ma'am, it was the father who took us into the Mall and told us to choose our shoes. Jidan had rejected it but the Father was still pushy, he said this as a gift for us." Answer Jihan.
"We also brought food, ma'am. The father brought us food from the hotel where he was staying." Said Jidan while taking out a package containing a mica box.
"Hotel?" Tanya Billa made sure.
"Yes, the man was staying at that hotel." Answer Jidan.
"only stay? Not owner?" Tanya Billa was starting to feel bad.
"The father said stay there, Mom. He didn't tell the owner, just said he'd stay in the city." Answer Jidan again.
Billa nodded. "alright. You take a shower and rest. I'll warm this food first."
"But tomorrow I'm home, right?" Ask Jihan.
"Mom will be home as usual. If the father comes first, you guys just accompany him." Reply Billa.
The next day, Jidan and Jihan prepare for school, as if they have a new spirit because they wear new shoes and bags given by Davan.
"Jid, you're so cool." Said Jihan praising Jidan's performance.
"You also look prettier in your pink shoes. Don't fight today, Ji. Shame on your pink shoes, your shoes look girly but your attitude is tomboyish." Said Jidan.
"This bag is good, Jid, he said if it rains, the water will not penetrate into. Our book won't get wet." Said Jihan.
"Yes, expensive bags are good, Ji. You have to take care of that bag." Jidan.
From near the doorway Billa heard the conversation of his two daughters' sons. They look happy because they get expensive and good things. For a moment Billa thought. He wants to give happiness to Jidan and Jihan, but what Billa gives is only able to provide affection without being able to give material, even though his two children are in a growth period that requires metri to support his life.
Even Jidan who likes futsal, can not follow the excursion just because he can not afford shoes and clothes to play futsal.
Hours home from school, Jidan and Jihan are excited to go home, they walk by the sidewalk.
"Jid, we're buying a memory for that father, right?" Ask Jihan.
Jidan nodded, "So, this is me bringing the money. What do we buy, Ji?" Ask Jidan.
What if we just buy some clothes, Jid. The shirt says Jogja." Said Jihan.
Jidan nodded, their savings that would be bought shoes in the market did not become used because Davan had bought it which was much more expensive. Jidan and Jihan agree that they will use some of their money to buy a memory for Davan.
Jidan took out the money, but unexpectedly, a pickpocket seized it and immediately ran.
"Ji, our money was taken." cried Jidan who ran after the pickpocket.
Jihan also ran, but when Jihan took to the road, a motorbike grazed Jihan to fall and her head hit the sidewalk.
"Aaaahh." Shouted Jihan.
