NOT A WEDDING DRAMA

NOT A WEDDING DRAMA
CHAPTER 50

The next day, Billa came to Davan's office still wearing his school uniform, he was confused standing across the building, he hesitated to enter the building.

the large company that has grown in the field of hotels and resorts is very large, considering that it has been more than sixty years since Erick established his official company.

The company is now held by the third generation, convinced Damian's son Brian and Davan as the son of Ghea, while Aldrich although he is only a step-grandchild, Aldrich still get shares in the company. Especially because Aldrich has his own company from his great-grandfather who passed it on to his grandmother, then down to his father and now run by Aldrich, so it is very unlikely that Aldrich helped manage Erick's company.

Zayn did not want to go into the business world, he inherited the nature of Fadhil the Father who prefers the world of education and established an educational foundation and provide scholarships for outstanding students with the Father.

Finally Billa stepped foot into the company where Davan served as CEO. Billa circulated her gaze then her eyes fixed on the receptionist and walked up to him.

"Excuse me, Ma'am." Billa said politely.

A girl sitting in the chair of the receptionist table stood up and smiled. "Yes Dek, how can I help you?" Ask.

"Sorry mbak, I want to ask, if you want to see Mr. Davan how? I can't connect with him." Billa said doubtfully.

"What do you mean Mr Davanka Fadhilah Latief? CEO's here." The receptionist asked convincingly.

Billa is confused because she does not know Davan's full name. "I don't know his full name, but I was told to come here and meet him."

"Can you name it? Let me call the CEO's staff first." Speaks kindly.

"Nabilla." Reply Billa.

The receptionist contacted the CEO staff and then nodded his head. After waiting for a while, the receptionist invites Billa to ride on the floor where Davan works.

"Let me take it." The Receptionist said.

They went up to the top floor in an elevator. Until arriving at the destination. A man was waiting for him in front of the elevator.

"You go with Mr. Samsul, he will deliver to Mr. Davan's room." The recipeist then resigned.

"Please Miss Billa, come with me." Said the man who was probably over Davan's age.

Samsul escorted her into Davan's room.

"Sir is your guest." Samsul said with respect.

Davan looked up his head, saw a teenage girl in front of him in a white school uniform ash, carrying his typical schoolboy backpack.

"Okay, thank you." Davan. "Oh yeah, if there's Aldrich from DW group, say I don't exist, just take Aldrich directly to Kak Dami's room." Say again.

Samsul who was a little surprised just nodded his head and then resigned.

Davan stood up and headed for the sofa in his room, Billa followed him.

"Sit down." Davan told Billa.

Billa sat down with Davan. "You're from school straight here?" Ask.

Billa nodded, "Yes Om."

"Don't go home and change new clothes here?"

Billa shook his head, "Later on, Om. Could reduce my work time."

Davan nodded his head.

"Take out your book." Davan.

Billa pulled out some books that he had brought.

Davan picked up a book with test writing. "This is a book about exams two years ago, you don't have to deal with this year's exam?" Ask Davan.

"But it's been filled before." Davan said then Davan stood up and called Samsul to immediately leave his room.

"Find a training book about facing a new test." Davan. "An hour from now must be there." Say again. "And bring us lunch."

Samsul immediately went out to search for the book Aldrich was referring to. Luckily Davan's company is next to the Mall to make it easier for Samsul to look for it in a famous bookstore.

"Om, I'm here to work, why do I want to be interested in books." Billa.

"Your work has something to do with the book." Davan replied and then sat back in his great chair to finish his work.

"Continue now what should I do, Om?" Tanya Billa was confused.

"Sit down and wait for your book. You must be tired of coming home from school straight here." Davan said without taking his eyes off the laptop screen.

Billa waited boredly, she did not have a cell phone to distract her boredom. The only phone he had ended up completely dead when he returned from his study tour.

Silently Davan noticed Billa's movements, Davan began to think, how can in this millennial era, Billa can survive without a mobile phone, and so on, are not young people now, especially students like Billa, who are busy surfing social media?

Davan understood, Billa was not as lucky as the people around him, his life as the predicate of the child of a night butterfly makes Billa must survive despite being scorned by many people.

Davan also salutes Billa, because even though Billa lived with his mother first, but Billa did not fall into a free life like his mother.

Whether Davan meant to do this to Billa, he just wanted to help his fellow humans, because as Fadhil often said. Helping people is like helping ourselves.

In less than an hour, Samsul brought back some books to practice on school exams. Samsul brought fast food from a Japanese restaurant.

"Eat." Davan said while giving one of the two boxes of food to Billa.

Billa received it and opened the food box, the contents of the food box made Billa's eyes sparkle because Billa had never eaten such food. Slice meat with my surety seasoning, eggroll and shimproll pieces are also salads with mayonise.

"Thank you, Om." Billa said smiling.

Davan continued to pay attention to Billa who seemed to enjoy the food that was in his lap, even though Davan himself was less fond of fast food, Davan was used to eating food cooked directly because Ghea slalu cooked it every day.

"Do you like the food?" Ask Davan.

Billa nodded, "Our age, this is the first time I've eaten Japanese food like this, Om." Reply Billa.

"How old are you?" Ask Davan.

"Finished the exam, I was seventeen." The answer.

"Never eat this at all?" Davan asked in surprise as he pointed at his food box.

Billa shook her head, "Even if I wanted to eat that typical American crispy chicken, I only bought it at a roadside crispy chicken vendor that sold ten thousands." Answer plain Billa.

Davan did not ask more, he was quite understanding of the economic condition of Billa.

After eating, Davan opened a paper bag containing a book about test practice.

"Solve this every time you come here." Davan.

Billa scrunched her forehead. "Lho, Om. Then where do I do my job?"

"Your job is this. Study until you graduate school. I can't afford to hire a student, I can get sanctioned from the child protection commission." The answer.

"But, Om...." Billa wants to protest.

"Nothing but a tapi. You're here to study in my room every day after school, from Monday to Friday. And I'll keep paying you one million a week and pay you on Friday." Davan said in an indisputable tone.
