NOT A WEDDING DRAMA

NOT A WEDDING DRAMA
CHAPTER 36

The day passes, the day turns into a week, and the week turns into a month. Now Aldrich is trying to act like a friend to Clara.

This morning Clara came and immediately made a coffee with a little sugar for Aldrich, he also prepared a small snack for his boss.

Aldrich entered his room when Clara put a cup filled with coffee with smoke that was still steaming.

"Good morning, sir." Sapa Clara's.

"Morning." Aldrich replied as usual. "What's my schedule today, Ra?" Ask Aldrich.

"Hour nine meetings with the marketing division, luncheon hours father there is an appointment to meet with Mr. Davan at the grand hotel to all discuss planning the renovation of the resort in Labuan bajo. That's all it is." Said Clara.

"Well, you're the one who's with me because Joni has to review the project elsewhere." Said Aldrich who was possessed by Clara.

Clara resigned after it was confirmed that nothing was needed by Aldrich anymore.

"What about their relationship?" Ask Fariz to Joni.

"Stuck in place, sir." Answer Joni.

"Miss Clara is more at distance from the young master." Said again.

Fariz nodded, "Run the next plan." Fariz said giving instructions to Joni that they had discussed earlier.

"Every great Master." Said Joni.

Clara's hour of rest saw the dining that she brought from her boarding house, "It's a pity not to eat." Clara Mumbled. Moreover, he made two supplies that he actually wanted to give to Aldrich.

"Hi Ra's. No rest?" Joni asked as she passed Clara's desk.

"I want to be ready to join Mr. Aldrich to meet Mr. Davan at the Grand Hotel." Answer Clara.

"Oh, all lunch, huh?" Ask again.

"It looks like it is, sir." Answer Clara.

Then Joni's gaze turned to the dining box that Clara was holding on her desk.

"You brought supplies?" Ask Joni to investigate.

"Yes, but I didn't want to go out." Clara replied, "You Mr. Joni would, you can do it for me." Clara thrust her lunchbox at Joni.

"Thank you, there are two I can eat with Rissa." Joni said, then when her hand wanted to touch her lunchbox came Aldrich's voice,

"Stop, don't touch!!" Aldrich said with a sharp gaze intimidating him.

"But, Sir. I'm loving this same Clara." Joni said while scratching her nape.

Aldrich stepped closer to Clara's desk and took two boxes of lunch. "Clara, come in my room." Aldrich said he left Clara with Joni.

"Sir Jon, I'm sorry." Said Clara while grinning to feel bad for Joni.

"What's up, Ra." Answer Joni. "Here you go in, I'll have to blow him again." Joni said as she shook her hand.

Clara entered Aldrich's room, but she wanted to ask Joni when she said she wanted to eat with Rissa. Could they have a relationship? I don't know.

Aldrich sat on the sofa with the lunchbox he had placed on the table in front of him.

"When did you give Joni lunch?" Aldrich asked like he didn't.

"Sorry Sir...." Clara wanted to answer but Aldrich cut her off quickly.

"It's break time, not office hours, call me Aldrich." Aldrich said slightly pressing.

Aldrich was silent, visibly angry and disappointed but he hid it.

"By that I'll make one for you and one for you." Clara said at the end.

Clara's reply made Aldrich look at Clara for a moment. "For me, Ra?" Aldrich asked in disbelief and immediately his face sparkled.

"When in Erlasha, I promised you, if I had a windfall, I would make you shredded meat. And now it's coming, Al." Say it again. "But today we're going to have lunch with Mr. Davan, I think rather than redundant, I'd rather give it to Mr. Joni. Not that I intend to make it stock." Clara.

Aldrich's face changed like a child being given a chocolate bar.

Aldrich stood up from his seat and approached Clara who was still standing and pulled her wrist to sit on the sofa. "Come on Ra, we'll eat first." Aldrich.

"But Al, Davan is waiting for us" said Clara.

Aldrich grabbed his phone and contacted Davan, after the second ring, Davan answered his phone.

"Yes Al.." - Davan-Davan

"I won't be having lunch with you, I'll just go straight to your office after lunch." - Aldrich-Turned out his call unilaterally.

Clara just shook her head.

"Done, right?" Aldrich smiled broadly, "Let's eat." He said again, looking at the lunchbox that Clara had made.

Clara opened the lunchbox one by one and the other she gave to Aldrich.

With sparkling eyes, Aldrich accepted it.

"Sorry Al, I just made my promise now." Said Clara.

Aldrich smiled, "It's okay, Ra. I'm like you, I'm sure I'm like this." Aldrich. "Tomorrow again, Ra." He said without shame.

Clara looked at Aldrich who looked greedily eating his cooking. "I don't cook every day, Al. I'll cook again for a second."

"You stop working so much, you can have time to cook." Answer Aldrich.

"You're throwing me out?" Ask Clara.

"No, I just want you to stop working here and be my wife, so you can focus on cooking for me." Say again.

Clara narrowed her eyes, "You're proposing to me?"

"No, how dare I propose to you, I'm afraid you will keep your distance again with me. Anyway, when I did propose to you without flowers and rings, I was just coding hard on you." Answer again as calmly as possible.

"Isha." Clara said as she put her lips together and continued eating.

While Aldrich smiled to see Clara, whose face looked red, Aldrich was sure that his attitude like this would gradually make Clara's heart fall and accept it.

Aldrich has got a gap to get closer to Clara, he continues to look for that comfort point and now he knows how to behave with Clara.

This is what he would do, teasing Clara and embarrassing her.

Aldrich thought, healing Clara's heart just by making her comfortable and not forcing anything else depressed, giving her a little upset would also make the spice love that more greget. Aldrich will use that way, the way to reach for Clara's heart and love.

Moreover, this time there was no hindrance from the blessing of his parents, making Aldrich more confident to approach Clara.

The only thing Aldrich should be aware of is Clara's proximity to Joni. Joni's status is a widower and a little sleyengan it makes Aldrich ketar ketir. Aldrich fears that Joni's status as a widower makes Clara feel more deserving of a relationship with Joni than with Aldrich, of course Aldrich will not allow that right to happen.
