CHAPTER 38

Stevi's eyes were still on Aldrich and Clara.

"But you guys were like kissing? Mama see for herself." Stevi.

Clara lowered her head, and cursed at her as if hypnotized by Aldrich's gaze.

While Aldrich, he was just clumsy while scratching his nape that was not itchy.

"Mama asked you to get married because your actions are out of bounds." Stevi Assertive.

Clara was shocked by what Stevi had just said. "But ma'am, we didn't do anything."

"Not doing what how? Obviously I saw you guys were almost perverted, before that happened, Mama asked you to get married right now."

"Ohooo, what kind of drama is this? It's very profitable for me." Inner Aldrich. "Thank you, I love you."

Clara looked at Aldrich who had no defense. "Sir, koq just shut up, tell your mother dong if we don't do anything." Clara said worriedly.

"But, Ra. It was true that we almost kissed and you didn't refuse either." Aldrich.

Clara's face flushed red, not expecting Aldrich to deny her Mama's accusation and instead welcomed the incident.

Clara was firm. "Sorry Mom, what Mother Stevi and Mr. Fariz saw was not entirely intentional, it was all pure accident."

"Clara, Aldrich is my only son. Aldrich slalu is serious about making a commitment." Stevi spoke as if she was promoting Aldrich.

"But me and Mr. Aldrich don't have any commitments, ma'am. This is really just an accident. Please be kind to understand this, the marriage cannot play and I do not deserve your son." Clara's face was paled, especially the tears already welled up in her eyes.

Stevi who saw it was not hearty, but Stevi really wanted Aldrich to get his love especially because Stevi saw Clara was a good woman.

"Alright, but you can't be together anymore as bosses and secretaries." Stevi.

"Where can it be like that, Ma." Aldrich said he did not accept.

"Clara will move Mama to become a secretary in another division. And you Al, be prepared to accept the matchmaking that Mama prepared." Stevi spoke with great firmness.

Clara lowered her head, for some reason her heart suddenly felt unwilling if Aldrich was betrothed to another woman.

"Al don't want to, Ma!!" Aldrich lirih.

"If you don't want to, get Clara married." Stevi replied casually.

Aldrich's gaze was fixed on Clara who just lowered her head earlier.

After a while there was only silence, Clara finally let out her voice.

"I'm going to resign from the company." Lirih Clara's.

"Sorry Miss Clara, you are still in the contract of the company, you must pay the penalty if you resign."Joni reminded.

Stevi let out a sigh, truly she could not bear to intimidate Clara like this. "Why don't you want to marry my son?" Ask Stevie at the end.

Clara slowly raised her head, staring wistfully at Stevi's face. "I'm sorry, Mom. I am not the right person for your son. I'm not perfect for being your son's partner."

Stevi smiled, he did not think that Clara was not an easy woman, Clara did not see Aldrich as the sole heir of the Antiquities, Clara was not glared at the treasures.

"What's your status?" Fariz asked with a heart.

Clara nodded slowly.

"Clara, we don't blame your status, not at all." Sahut Stevi is convinced.

Aldrich's body felt limp, he leaned against the wall and was slightly bowed as Clara let out a word that made him uninspired.

"You two talk, if you don't get married right now, then Mama will do what Mama said earlier, move Clara to another division and Aldrich will have to accept this match. Mama wait an hour in Papap's room." Stevi pulls Fariz's hand out of Aldrich's room, followed by Joni.

Clara sighed then she chose to sit because she felt no longer standing. Aldrich looked at Clara who was sitting while holding her dizzy forehead.

"Why aren't you against it, Al?" Ask Clara lirih.

Aldrich slowly drew closer to Clara, kneeling before Clara and holding her hands together.

Clara who had resignedly received her date was held by Aldrich.

"I love you, Ra." Aldrich said with a serious face.

"When I found out you were married, I thought about taking you from your husband, I knew I was crazy until I realized that if I loved you, I couldn't hurt you, that's why I let you go and go, Ra."

Clara was silent, tears slowly coming out of her eyes.

"We're married, Ra. It's okay if you haven't had peace with me, I promise I'll build and grow the love in your heart for me." Pinta Aldrich really.

"I failed once, Al. It's inappropriate for a widow like me to be with a bachelor like you, especially if I'm just an ordinary person and you're the sole heir to the rich." Answer Clara.

"I love you with all that you have, Ra. I've been fascinated by your kindness when I paid for a cup of coffee for me." Aldrich continues to convince Clara.

"I'm afraid of failing again, Al. And I'm not ready." Clara.

"I won't make our marriage a failure, Ra. And if you're not ready, I won't touch you until there's love in your heart for me." Aldrich looked into Clara's eyes with a gentle and reassuring look.

Clara saw seriousness on Aldrich's face.

"Three months, Ra. I'm sure in three months' time I'll make you fall in love with me." Aldrich tightened his grip.

"What if I can't, Al?" Ask Clara lirih.

Aldrich smiled faintly. "I'm sure there's love in your heart for me, it's just that you're still fortifying yourself because of the wounds inflicted by your ex-husband, even though I don't know what those wounds are."

Clara tried to dive into her feelings, she remembered the time with Aldrich when he was in Erlasha, when Aldrich became Aldi who could make her feel comfortable and laugh freely.

"You yes, Ra." Refer Aldrich again.

Slowly Clara nodded in resignation making Aldrich carve a smile on his face.

Aldrich doesn't care if it's a trap his parents set or something, if it's Clara, Aldrich would be happy to accept it.

While in Fariz's room. Stevi was worried waiting for the answer of the child and the woman. Stevi is afraid that Clara thinks she is being framed, even though this is Joni's idea for Fariz and Stevi. From starting to make the door handle stuck, turning off the air conditioning to Aldrich's phone left in the car and also turning off the phone connection.

"Alright, Ma. Clara must have accepted Aldrich." Said Fariz who was dizzy to see the wife pacing back and forth waiting for the arrival of the child and his woman.

"Mom hesitated, Pap. Clara's not like other women who easily melt just by looking at our son's background." Answer Stevi.

"Clara likes Aldrich, Ma. It's just that he feels inferior to his status." Fariz. "Aldrich must try to convince Clara."

"When we don't blame Clara's status, Pap. Mama knows she's a good woman and she deserves Aldrich."
