No Tara Under The Horizon

No Tara Under The Horizon
Chapter 14's

Under the bronze-coloured walls, a group of five people stood on the Floating Ice Bridge. I know them well, their IDs all have the prefix “Gila” Dragon before their names. The man who stood at the very front was named Roaming Dragon, and he was the first enemy I encountered in this game. I had not expected to meet him here after the fight in the Sunshine Forest.

The Roaming Dragon glared at my Forest Green Blade hatefully before sneering at me. “The Iron Level Forest Green Blade is the 7th strongest weapon in the Floating Ice City weapon ranking list. If I'm not mistaken, it's also the sword dropped from the Green Worshiping Grasshopper King, isn't it?”

I don't deny it. Raising my eyebrows, I asked, “Ya. Continues?”

“Continue?!” Roaming Dragon said with gritted teeth before threatening, “Leave the Forest Green Blade now and maybe I will save your life. Otherwise, your days in Floating Ice City are over.”

I grunt. “Are you kidding? Who are you to decide if I spend my time here?

The Roaming Dragon suddenly smiled until his handsome face was almost completely distorted. “Is that so? Why don't we test that theory?”

He then shouted furiously, “Brothers, get rid of this dirty Night Creature!”

The Mad Dragon Members immediately took out their weapons. One of them was Bard, and he pulled a bamboo flute and played a short tone. The Roaming Dragon's head was immediately surrounded by a green circle. It was the basic skill of Bard, Forge! It was a buff that increased the target hit rate by 25%!

There was a large number of players standing at the city gate, and the commotion caught their attention. Many of them even pointed at me and gossiped.

“What the fuck! He is a Night Creature! You can even see a red tinge in his ID!”

“What? Are not the Night Beings our enemy? Why is he here in Floating Ice City?”

“Let's kill him! Maybe we can make him drop the seventh strongest weapon of Floating Ice City.”.

The situation is very bad for me. If I stay here any longer, I might not be able to escape completely.

That was why I stepped gallantly towards Mad Dragon and pointed towards the breaking dawn, east. Then, I shouted, “See, butterfly!”

While everyone was looking up, I rushed out of the city without ever turning around. The Roaming Dragon immediately gave chase, but a warrior-type class like me had a good speed of movement. There was no way a low-level magic knight without a mount could catch up.

Confused and irritated, the twenty-five-year-old hedonist shouted, “Brothers, this kid is too cunning! Let's enter the Frost Forest together and obtain the Iron-class weapon that should belong to us!”

About twenty people answered his call and chased after me.

Mad Dragon was very famous in the forum belonging to Floating Ice City from the Chinese server. It seemed like their claim to wanting to become the strongest guild in Floating Ice City was not an empty boon, or they would not have so many people chasing after me. No wonder the Mad Dragon guild had over a thousand registered members on the forum!

I arrived at the edge of the forest and disappeared into the dense undergrowth in no time. My pursuers could only see the disturbed plants I passed by, but I did not.

Roaming Dragon led his group of twenty people to the edge of the forest. Green with rage, he shouted, “Broken Halberd Sinks Into the Sand, you have touched the reverse scale of Mad Dragon! I don't care if you are a cursed emperor, today I will tear you to pieces and skin you alive, no matter what happens!”

I stopped quietly under a lush birch tree and laughed out loud. “Scale upside down Mad Dragon? You actually dare to call yourself a dragon, you third-rate actor? If you are a crazy dragon, then I am the dragon slayer who will take out all your so-called upside down scales until there is nothing left!”

“Fuck!”

Roaming Dragon roared furiously. “My brother, he's in our southeast. Go in that direction, kill him and let everyone in Floating Ice City know that the Mad Dragon guild rules are inviolable!”

“Iya Boss!”

The players quickly rushed towards me.

I immediately identified their position and noted that they had organized themselves into a triangular formation. Fighting them head-on would be a bad choice since they had all learned their class skills, and none of these skills were particularly weak.

rustling rustling…

The birch leaves swayed, and I disappeared from where I came from.

As I was running, a sense of danger suddenly struck me. They're coming!

Holy hooch!

A cold glint appeared out of nowhere. Naturally, only Assassins could conduct an ambush like this.

Instead of retreating, I took a lightning-fast step to the right and swung my sword at the same time. That shining sword clashed violently with the enemy's dagger.

“What?! Very fast..”

The dagger user looked a little surprised. She is Level 17, and her ID is “Crazy Dragons Give Up”. He looked to be around twenty years old and was rather childish. His technique wasn't bad, he just hadn't reached the level of a first-rate Assassin.

My eyes are cold. This man was clearly fighting for the Roaming Dragon, even his ID was a reflection of his guild name. I can't let him live!

I suddenly shortened the distance between us and swung my sword. The unyielding Mad Dragon clenched his teeth and shouted, “You seek death!”

I'm dumbfounded. I guess the Roaming Dragon did not speak completely as he claimed that he would dominate Floating Ice City. At the very least, this unyielding Mad Dragon was quite skilled.

Holy hooch!

A chill blew towards me as a dark green light surrounded the Dagger of the Abstinence Mad Dragon. It was none other than the Level 10 Assassin skill, Cold Blade!

Cold Blade increases the critical rate by 20% and provides 125% damage.

Puchis!

Unable to react in time, the attack hit me right in the chest. Fortunately, the Mad Dragon Unyielding Dagger was a common grade weapon with 3~5 Attack only, or this would be extremely dangerous.

“Mati!”

The intention of killing the unyielding Mad Dragon skyrocketed as he followed with a straight swing towards my neck. He was a fine Assassin, every attack was carried out with the intent to kill!

My own killing intent was forcefully dragged to the surface. I really can't let someone like him live!

Big punch!

I kicked his arm from a difficult angle and used the momentum to turn my body into the air. Then, I activated my own skill and cut through it!

The crack!

The unyielding Mad Dragon looked at me blankly. I have snatched victory from his hands in just the blink of an eye. He was sure his attack would be connected, but not only did it miss, my counterattack killed him instantly.

I snorted coldly as the unyielding Mad Dragon slowly knelt down and died. Then, I turned around and walked deeper into the forest. At the same time, I realized that there was absolutely no chance I could beat twenty or so pursuers behind me unless the delay of my brain was completely gone.

I could hear screams from a distance. Roaming Dragon and his men were already approaching. He was at least as skilled as the unyielding Mad Dragon, and he had already obtained his class skills. It won't be easy to kill him!

Finally, we all entered the interior of the Frost Forest. There are only five people chasing me now because the rest are too slow or entangled with random monsters.

“Heh!”

I suddenly turned around and brandished my sword arrogantly, standing in the middle of the field. It was a rather comical sightthe little skeleton with a sword puffing out his chest like he was an immortal incarnation.

Roaming Dragon and his four thugs who were chasing me saw that I was no longer running. He hesitated. He had witnessed my skills before, and even he didn't think that he could beat me 5v1.

For a moment, the Roaming Dragon stood in its place and did nothing. He was caught between a rock and a hard place.

“Bos, let's kill him! He stayed one or two Iron grade pawns to complete a complete set!” a short barbarian soldier said in a deep voice.

The Roaming Dragon continued to frown deeply. It was true that a complete set of Iron level equipment was very tempting, but it also meant that the wearer could hardly be killed thanks to their incredible defense.

I couldn't help but laugh loudly at the group of hesitators. I pointed a finger at the Roaming Dragon and said, “Floating Ice City is one of the nine tier 2 cities of the Chinese server, and most of the players are from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai is here. You must have been so deceived into thinking that you and your little guild could rule the Floating Ice City!”

I was just about to attack them first when an archer from Mad Dragon stumbled into the open while crying, “Bos, this..”.

“Content yourself. What the hell is going on?” Roaming Dragon asked impatiently.

The archer quickly moved closer and whispered his message.

“Fuck!!!”

The Roaming Dragon exploded into rage. “Wind Fantasy has gone too far this time! Mad Dragon cannot be taken lightly! Come on, we're heading to the Snow Forest!”

“Hei wait, don't go ..”

I tried to stop them, but the Roaming Dragon and his men disappeared in the blink of an eye. Whatever crimes Fantasy Wind committed against the Mad Dragon guild, it seems that it is much bigger than mine …

“Huh, what the hell is this ..”

A little annoyed by the anti-k.l.i.ma.k.s ending, I turned around and headed towards Frost Mound again. Now that I traded Bony Cyan Fan for boots and some silver, it was time to check if any new quests should be accepted.

I only took two steps when the searing heat suddenly approached my face quickly. It was a spear filled with fire power!

Not good, I was ambushed!
