"Sorry, Darma. This time I can't help you."
About five business friends, whom Darma knew, declined his request for help. Again and again Darma can only nod while saying it's okay to be rejected. But, honestly, Darma was so desperate.
After his meeting at a restaurant was fruitless, Darma decided to order a coffee to calm his mind. Where else would he seek help. His daughter-in-law also rejected him outright for reasons that Darma does not know what. All of his friends and relatives were also reluctant to help with his problems.
Perplexed in her troubles, Darma decided to look around the restaurant. He saw someone he knew very well. Right, Raka.
"Raka!" call Darma.
Raka who was about to order food turned her head when her name was called. Raka looked at Darma who was waving her hand towards him. To know, inevitably Raka approached her former future father-in-law.
"Sit down."
"Why do you call me?" ask Raka.
"Have we not seen each other in a long time? Order something," tell Darma.
Raka nodded. He called the waiter and ordered a drink. When he arrived, he drank it.
"It just so happens that we meet here. What's Om doing here?"
"Meet a friend" said Darma.
Raka nodded.
"I just wanted to ask you, are you and Angela really broken up?" ask Darma slowly.
Raka looked up when she heard the question. Angela must have told Darma. Raka straightened up and cleared her body justifying.
"Why? Why are you cheating?"
"W-what? Cheating?" Raka raised the next eyebrow.
"Yes. At least Angela has been with you until now, you should have appreciated her and not cheated on her. But even you betrayed another woman."
Raka shakes in disbelief. When did he cheat? Isn't Angela herself the one who cheated and openly confessed?
"Om, this seems to be a misunderstanding. I'm not having an affair with anyone" Raka said.
"But Angela said that." Darma denies.
"It seems like there's a misunderstanding here. I'm not having an affair, it's Angela who is cheating. I decided it because I caught him with another man at the time, Om," explained Raka.
Darma's confused. He doesn't know what's right or wrong. At that time his son said that the victim of the affair, but in another position Raka said that he did not cheat.
"Angela playing fictim to me, Om. Obviously he's the one who cheated. I'm sure he said that out of fear Om was angry."
"But why?"
"Angela was afraid Om knew that she was having an affair with a man of Om's age. I caught him and he did not deny it at that time. I don't want to break up either, Om, but I think my decision is right." Raka explained.
"So, is he the one who lied?"
"Yes, Om. It was Angela who lied all this time" replied Raka.
Darma. He doesn't know anything about this. However, if you hear Raka's tone, Darma is sure the man is not lying.
"But some time ago he brought a lot of stuff, and I guess it's all from you. You know for yourself that Om's company is shaky, and Angela's button is not good. Om thinks he has money on you," said Darma.
"I didn't know he could be like that. But, Raka, wasn't Angela pregnant at the time? He said it was your son." Darma remembered one thing.
Raka laughed when she heard it. "Kids? I'm not sure he's my son, Om. He's always with other men if he's not with me. I can't be sure if she's carrying my son."
"What do you mean?"
"He often changes partners. And I'm also not sure if they're unrelated" explained Raka.
Darma is increasingly surprised about Raka's speech.
"In addition, she had aborted her fetus in the abortion clinic without my knowledge" said Raka Pilu.
"What?!"
Raka nodded. "I was angry at the time too, Om. She lied to me by saying she fell down the stairs and miscarried, but she herself aborted her. Even though it hasn't been proven to be my son, I still don't accept him dropping it."
"Bas with the boy!"
Darma's anger exploded. He did not expect his son's behavior to be so evil. To kill innocent lives.
Raka. He thought, maybe if this is the right time to tell all the truth because it had been given a way by Darma.
"Om, there are things that Om should know about them as well" said Raka.
"What's that?"
Raka looked inside before she finally steadied herself to tell the truth.
"Actually the cause of death of Om's late wife was premeditated murder. And the culprit is Om's new wife."
Darma immediately rounded his eyes when listening to that. He almost fainted on the spot when he heard a statement that he had not known the truth.
"W-what? Warda did it?" tanya Darma doesn't believe.
"Really, Om. If you can't believe Om, you can watch this video and this footage." Raka handed over the evidence she had prepared from the beginning.
Darma's feet are floating. Frozen to hear the evidence explaining that the new wife was the guilty one. Over time Darma clenched his hands because he was angry at what Warda had done to him. Stupidly, Darma believed him until now.
"Om see for yourself, right now? They both did it. They also harmed Alin and made false news about Alin's death" Raka explained.
Darma closed his eyes. Her chest became painful as Raka made it clear again. Truly, he had been deceived by the face of his wife who instead became a thorn in his own blanket.
"I'm admitting wrong, Om. I left Alin at that time. And it turns out I was the fool for being tricked by Angela. And I hope, Om doesn't take any more wrong steps." Raka is back.
Darma clenched both hands. Then give back Raka's phone.
"Thank you for revealing this to me, Raka. Om on behalf of Angela apologizing if she did anything wrong to you. Your decision to pursue your relationship is right, and you deserve a better woman."
Raka nodded with a smile.
"Om knows everything now, right? So I hope Om makes the right decision."
"Thank you, Raka. Om wouldn't have known forever if it wasn't for you. Now Om is aware that they are indeed not good people," said Darma.
Raka smiled back. As he planned, finally today arrived and could say it to Darma. Then he sipped a drink while occasionally looking at Darma who seemed tense after knowing the real incident.
