Preparation of Press Conferences

"Daniel, this is his name Merta––anak Papa's business partner. She is beautiful, smart, educated and definitely on par with our family. Not like the woman of your choice" Pras told Daniel.

Daniel raised an eyebrow. His father was really desperate. He repeatedly said he did not want to, but was forced.

Pras visits Daniel's office with the son of his co-worker indeed. The middle-aged man is well-intentioned to give Daniel a companion at a press conference later.

"meaning?" Daniel asked.

"Nothing, just tinkering with the laptop," replied Arlo.

"For what?"

"Learn." Arlo's answering.

"Biasalah, Arlo does like that. I used to love tinkering with laptops. I don't know what to do," said Alin from behind––put a tray containing drinks on the table.

Daniel gets up from his seat, and invites Arlo to sit on the sofa. He held the little boy and looked at the woman who was currently sitting on the sofa.

"Tumben you're home early, is there a problem?" ask Alin.

"I'd like to take you to a press conference tonight" Daniel said.

"Me?" Alin pointed to himself.

"Yes. And revealing our relationship to the public."

Alin stared fixedly. He stared at the man who had just said the word. Daniel looks serious about saying it, but Alin is still a little worried about the consequences later.

"Well, if that's for the best. I'll come along." Alin.

A lot of media people gathered in one of the buildings where tonight's press conference took place. Colleagues and business associates talk to each other about the issues that occur. Many arguments dropped, many also support the issue.

Daniel looks casual with a black coat paired with a classy white shirt. Next to it is also no less fashionable a woman dressed in a red marron knee-length dress with an open back accent. Her hair was plucked upwards so that it showed a neckline that was white and tempting.

"Who is that woman?"

"Isn't that the woman on the news? Why is he here?"

Alin simply smiled in return for a greeting. He was getting foreign to the situation.

"Oh, okay. There's actually something I want to talk about, but my friends are at the table there. Can we talk for a minute?"

Daniel thought for a moment. "alright. Alin, can you wait for me here for a second? I'll be right back."

Actually Alin was not willing, he was afraid of this situation. However, Alin could not let Daniel miss the opportunity. He could only nod, then agree to it.

Alin who was left could only look around fearfully. He went to one of the tables, picked up a drink and drank it.

"Hi" said someone.

Alin. "Oh, hi?"

"Include me Merta. What's yourname?"

"Organ." Alin welcomed the hand.

"It's nice to meet you, Alin. Mm, you being here must have something to do with the E-Commerce company right? Which family are you from? What's your job right now? Ah, I'm guessing you must have great effort, you can stand here. Here the place is not for just anyone," said Merta.

Alin just stared strangely. Why did he feel that woman was demeaning him?

"I was with Daniel here" replied Alin.

"Huh? Oh, are you Daniel's new business partner? Daniel was like that, always treating his colleagues well." Merta.

Alin. Why did Alin feel that she knew Daniel so well?

"Together, get over here!" call Pras.

Merta turned. "yes, Om. Mm, Alin I said first, yeah. My future-in-law called. See you soon."

Alin just nodded. Seeing Merta with Pras raised some questions in Alin's mind. He felt something strange.

"Consider everything."

Alin heard the voice of someone who touched everyone's sight. Alin turned around and looked at someone who was on stage. Merta and Pras.

"Finally thank you for attending tonight's event. There is important information that I want to convey about the news that circulated at that time. The news is a hoax, because my son––Daniel–– will soon be married to Merta, the son of my coworker," Pras said.

Pras' words surprised everyone. Many people were shocked and congratulated simultaneously on the news.

Unlike Alin who just stared blankly. How could Daniel play with her like this? Why did the man even tell her to come to the publicizing of their relationship?
