Alin is dead

A few months later.

"Al, are you okay? I saw these few days your body looks weak." Nola came with a cup of warm tea and put it on the nightstand.

"I'm fine, La. Just a little nauseous. It must have been in the wind." Alin grabbed the blanket wrapped around his body.

"But it's been a few days, Lin. I'm afraid something's happened to you."

"Calm down."

After the incident that night, Alin decides to stay at his best friend's house away from the city and not return home. He wants to forget all the problems. Love, family, or one-night relationship with a man.

"Nola, I'm sorry I always bother you. You're very kind, I won't forget your services" said Alin sincerely.

"Jeez, Alin, you're like a stranger. Don't think about it anymore." Nola chuckles.

"Stay, Zero. I owe you one. If you hadn't helped me back then, I probably wouldn't have been here." Alin still clearly remembered how Nola reached out while Alin was helpless.

"Ck, stop saying that again. But, Al, I doubt that your whereabouts will be quickly discovered. You know what their cunning brains are?" Nola looked at Alin worriedly. Especially when Nola knows who contributed greatly to the problems that Alin faced.

"Yes, I know. I was too rash at that time."

"We think about that later. Your head still hurts?" Nola touched Alin's head.

Alin nodded. "Sometimes. Sometimes it's like it's gonna break."

Nola smiled. So big a problem his best friend. He himself was confused to help how. Not yet had time to ask one thing, his phone rang, a message from his friend made Nola round his eyes in shock.

"Al, look at this. Isn't this your picture? That big businessman is looking for you everywhere, even giving rewards to whoever manages to find you." Nola showed me a news story on social media about Alin.

"Where?"

Alin's eyes widened when he saw a photo, and he had made sure that it was him.

"The entrepreneur was named Daniel Maheswara, owner of the largest online fashion retailer. Why would he be looking for you if it wasn't important? Is he not that guy?" Nola opened her eyes.

Alin. He opened one of the websites and typed Daniel's name there. A photo that Alin clearly made sure was the man he was spending the night with.

"Nola, what should I do?" Alin looked at Nola nervously.

"So, is he really the one?" Alin nodded. "Gosh my god."

"Then what are you gonna do, Al? You know, sooner or later she'll know that you live here. In fact, he's definitely a better connection to just keep track of people."

"Stop, La. You're scaring me." Alin. He was afraid that Daniel would abduct him.

"But why is he looking for me? Didn't our relationship just end that day?" Alin fretting. Alin says not to look for her, but why did the man make an announcement about her instead?

Nola seemed to think, then said, "Will he take responsibility for you, Al?"

"What's responsible?"

"There's no way you're pregnant, right?"

Alin choked on his own saliva. Moved the corners of her wet lips using a finger. Screaming, chuckling crispy. It can't be felt.

"Ah, not possible. How can I get pregnant" said Alin. Brushing Nola's hand.

"Nothing is impossible. Do you remember if he was wearing a security guard or not when you were overnight?" Nola raised her next to the eyebrows.

Alin gulped down a rough saliva. At that time, he did not remember anything. His mind was too full of disappointment, to the point of not thinking that far.

"Wait a minute." Nola leaves.

Alin stroked his own stomach. Is it true that she is pregnant? Pregnant from a man she doesn't recognize? What would be his fate if that happened?

"It." Nola handed something to Alin.

"What's this?"

"Pregnancy test tool."

Alin stared at the nanar of a testpack in his hand. Then looked at Nola who seemed to start giving an understanding. Can't Alin be pregnant?

"Hhh, what am I testing for? I'm not pregnant, La." Alin chuckles.

"Nothing is impossible. You're now like a pregnant man, Alin. There's no harm in trying." Nola tried to explain.

Long Nola waited for Alin to do the test in the toilet while leaning on the door, not long after Alin came with a face that was difficult to understand. Nola approached, holding the hand of her best friend.

"How did it go?"

Without answering, Alin handed the results of the testpack to Nola, who was greeted by a frown on his forehead by his best friend.

"Help me, Nola." Alin held Nola's hand.

"Have you found any information about that woman?" The assistant asked just smiled.

Daniel rolled down his glasses, put them on the table, then looked inside the assistant in front of him who looked different. His haughty and cold domineering aura made anyone would definitely feel fear.

"Already, Sir. But ...."

"But?"

"There's something that may not live up to expectations, but I hope you can take it."

"Quick say! Don't make me curious!"

Daniel's assistant gave a gesture using his hand to call someone. Not long after, a woman came into the room.

Daniel raised next to an eyebrow looking at the foreign woman in front of him.

"Who are you?"

"I'm Nola, sir." Nola nodded obediently. Alin was afraid, the man was too creepy.

"What's your purpose in coming here?" Daniel stared coldly.

"I'd like to talk about the woman you're looking for. Alin."

Spontaneous Daniel's body immediately stiffened upon hearing the name. His brain just stumbled.

"Do you know Alin?" ask Daniel in curiosity.

"Very. We've even been in office since High School." Nola smiled.

"What's the evidence?" Daniel is not a fool.

Nola stepped forward and showed a few photos of herself with Alin. Give it to Daniel so that the man can believe it.

"Then where is he now? I want to meet him." Daniel began to show his enthusiasm.

"He ... he ...."

"Where, huh? Speak clearly!"

Nola just lowered her head, then quietly sobbed. That brings a question mark for Daniel. He needed answers, not a cry like this.

Seeing his boss confused, the assistant handed him a sheet of paper containing a description of something.

"Miss Alin is dead, sir."

"Died?" Daniel's surprised. His tongue is so thick.

Daniel almost staggered to read line after line of letters saying about Alin's death. He did not expect, the person he had been looking for all this time, even ended up like this.

"A car accident has killed Miss Alin. He died after walking out of a cafe with Miss Nola, hit by a truck driver who was likely a man. I've checked Miss Alin's death warrant."

Daniel nodded in disbelief. Then walk towards Nola who is still sobbing. Holding his shoulders and then gripping him firmly.

"Say that this is all a lie. This is all fake, right?!"

"Sorry, Sir. I couldn't take good care of Alin" Nola sobbed.

Daniel smiled pias. Moving back and forth while crimping the white paper into shabby. No, there was no way Alin would leave it that easy. Daniel did not believe.

"No way, Alin couldn't have died." Daniel's body just took it.

"Master!"
