Try to Get Closer

"Good news, sir, the address of our company's system hacker has been found." Vano handed me a piece of paper containing the address.

Daniel accepted. Then read that address. Nodding, then looked at Vano inside.

"What about the test results? Is it out?" Daniel is hoping for more.

"No, Mister. No notification yet. Maybe the day after tomorrow will be given," replied Vano, causing disappointment in Daniel.

"There's one more, sir. There are companies that propose cooperation with us. I've checked and their quality is good too."

"Send me the data. I'll check later." Daniel got up from his chair, put on a suit and stood facing Vano.

"Do you want to go somewhere?"

"Yes, I'm going to the hospital. Where's the car keys?" Daniel raised his hand.

"Do I need to take it?" Vano gives advice, but it is undeniable that Daniel is still asking for the car keys.

"No, I can do it myself. You take care of your job." Daniel took the car keys and rushed out of the room.

Daniel did intend to visit Arlo today, given that the boy had not been discharged from the hospital. He tries a new purpose to rebuild the boy's trust, which Daniel himself does not know why Arlo hates him so much.

Upon Daniel's arrival at the hospital, he begins to look for where Arlo's nursing room is. Don't forget to pick up the food he ordered from a restaurant because he thought that Alin must not have had lunch. Arriving at the designated room, Daniel immediately entered.

Arlo who was in the middle of sitting on the bed was staring cynically at a man who came to him. His mother was taking care of something outside and he was left alone. Daniel's arrival is not welcomed, but Arlo hates the man.

"Hi" said Daniel.

"What's uncle here for?" cynical Arlo.

"There was a sick uncle, so look at your condition. Is it okay?" Daniel's hand that was about to touch his forehead was immediately pushed rough by Arlo.

"Not to pay attention to me, Uncle. Uncle's a bad man, and forever will remain evil!" Arlo raised his voice. Daniel was calm.

"Why can you judge evil uncle?"

"Because uncle kidnapped my mommy!"

Daniel nodded in understanding. He could see that Arlo was not expecting his presence, but Daniel would not give up.

"Kidnap? Who said uncle kidnapped your mommy? Uncle doesn't know your mommy? What's your mommy's name?" Daniel raised his eyebrows looking at the little boy.

"Yes, mommy Alin! Does uncle think I don't know everything? Even I am more powerful than uncle!" Arlo won't lose.

"Better, huh?" Daniel teases. Then handed over the food he had brought.

"You haven't eaten, have you? Anger also needs energy. Moreover, wanting to defeat this mighty uncle requires extra energy. Now that your body is weak, how will you protect your mommy if uncle kidnaps her again?" ask Daniel.

"Uncle want to kidnap mommy again?!" Arlo rounded his eyes.

"Hmm, uncle can't guarantee not to kidnap your mommy." Daniel was testing the boy. Though he only wanted to make Arlo eat, because looking at the nightstand his food was still untouched.

"Bad uncle! Arlo hates uncle!" The little boy pouted, staring at Daniel cynically.

"Eat first have to eat." Daniel took the hospital food that was on the nightstand, then took the small dining table that had been provided. It's right in front of Arlo.

"What is bribed?" bargain Daniel.

"Himself." Arlo tries to pick up the spoon, but his infused hands make it difficult. Seeing that Daniel immediately took over and was about to feed Arlo.

"Open your mouth" said Daniel.

Arlo also according. Open your mouth and take a bribe from Daniel. Daniel rubbed the food left on the edge of Arlo's lips using a tissue, then smiled as the boy complied.

"Arlo, mommy-"

Instantly, Daniel's bribery stalled when he heard someone's voice from outside. Alin there pegged with a view that did not turn at all towards the man who was feeding his son.

"Mommy?" Arlo broke the reverie.

Alin cleared his throat, then walked normally closer. Alin tried to be ordinary, but his heart was not continuous with the mind.

"Arlo, are you okay?" Alin's worried.

"No, Mom. It's Arlo eating again, for fear that Mommy's kidnapped this evil uncle again." Arlo pointed at Daniel, while Daniel just smiled.

"You haven't eaten either, have you? Here, eat." Daniel hands the parcel to Alin, but Alin just grumbles.

"Arlo, today we go home. After the infusion runs out, we can get out of the hospital."

"Really, Mom? Yay!" Arlo looked at his mother with a twinkle in his eyes. Replied with a nod.

"Isn't it too soon? Why not stay in the hospital for a few days? If it's a matter of cost, I'll bear it." Daniel feels that Arlo is completely unrecoverable, therefore he proposes to settle down until healthy.

Alin. "Arlo was only a small wound, not because of the cost. I can still afford to pay for it."

Daniel was silent. The ketus answer made Daniel did not know what to do, because he was afraid that later he would get a tantrum from Alin.

"But you won't be able to afford it if you get sick. Eat it, before it gets cold, it won't taste good." Daniel still gave me the food. Replied with a cynical look from Alin.

"You're afraid I'm mixing it with medicine?" Daniel raised an eyebrow.

Seeing that look, Arlo became confused. He took the parcel and gave it to his mother.

"Mommy hasn't eaten, has she? Eat this, Mom. Arlo is also sure, mommy hasn't eaten since morning."

"From morning?" Daniel stared fixedly at Alin. How could the woman not have eaten from morning?

"Fast eat then. Do you want to get maagh just ate?" cynical Daniel.

"Why are you forcing?"

"You like being forced, right?" Daniel's gaze made Alin turn his face. Shudder in horror.

Inevitably Alin accepts it because Arlo does not want to hear the debate. Although there was a bit of suspicion, why did the man become like this.

"Are you just going to stay there? Come on, come on in," take Daniel.

Daniel is already in the car, while Alin and Arlo are still standing outside. Daniel was intent on staying and driving them home. However, Alin did not respond to anything.

"You go, Nola's gonna pick up soon. So, you don't have to bother." Alin looked away.

Daniel clucking. That woman is hard to understand.

"Nola still doesn't know when it's coming, while it's getting late." Daniel knew and even believed that Nola would not come, because he had told Vano to carry out the plan.

"Let's go home, Mom. Arlo's head is still aching" complained Arlo looking at his mother.

"Didn't you feel sorry for Arlo? He's still sick and needs to get some rest" Daniel said.

Alin looked at his son who was staring at the heart. Alin really does not have the heart, but what else? Should I obey Daniel?

"Let's go up fast, have a night out" Daniel said.

Because of his forced, Alin finally complied. Entering Daniel's car with Arlo by his side. It made Daniel smile, but he hid it.

"Where is your home?"

"I'll show you later" replied Alin.

Daniel's car drove out of the hospital. He unceasingly looked at two people in the rearview of his car. Daniel did not expect that today he would be with two people who disturbed his mind.

After being directed by Alin, Daniel's car now stops at one of the housing complexes. The man goes out first and opens the car door for Alin, accompanied by the woman who takes Arlo out.

"Thank you for the ride today. Hurry home," throw Alin out.

"Aren't you going to ask me to stop by?" Daniel insinuates.

"It's late, and Arlo has to rest." Alin refused.

"All right, next time."

Daniel stared at the two men's departure until the door closed. He was still faithful looking at the house that Alin lived in. But he remembered one thing again.

Daniel matched the address of the house to the home address of his enterprise system hacker. And it turns out it's really the same, even the house number is the same. Daniel was surprised to see it.

"Did Alin do it? It's impossible."
