"Darling .. sakiiit!"
Vida continued to groan with all forms of body movements that wriggled to adjust the pain that attacked his stomach. I who had just arrived in the room then rushed towards him.
With all the panic on my face, I couldn't think clearly. What exactly happened to my wife? Why did he suddenly become ill like this? Is it possible because you have consumed gulai rice? Ah, but it's impossible.
"Honey .. We go to the hospital, okay?" I bargained with Vida after getting my mind back.
Vida only responded to me by shaking her head many times. And it's getting me confused not a bitch. He continued to groan in pain, while I could do nothing. All wrong!
A few minutes later, Vida suddenly asked me to take a small towel to compress her stomach with warm water. With a quick movement like being possessed by the power of teleportation I went down the stairs, towards the kitchen and prepared warm water.
When I finished, I took a small basin of warm water to the room, then took a small towel neatly folded in the closet. In a hurry, I put the towel I had soaked for a while in the basin to the surface of my wife's stomach just below her navel.
And thankfully after a few minutes, Vida's extreme body movements on the bed, and her heartbreaking groaning sound was now no longer heard. Only a small groaning sound was heard occasionally.
Then I got him a glass of warm water, and asked Vida to drink it. He took a small sip of the water, then lay down. "Are you sure you don't want to go to the hospital?" ask me again who still can not calm down before knowing what exactly is wrong with my wife.
"No need, honey. I'm all right, I'm." He still put on a grimacing face as if the pain was still gnawing on his stomach.
...🍂🍂🍂...
Day
I was reading a newspaper in the living room. After hearing her voice blaring all over the house, I was immediately aghast. Feeling worried in case what happened to him this afternoon happened again.
I threw the newspaper in any place, then ran to him in the room. "Honey, where are you?" I was confused when I couldn't find him in the room.
"I'm in the bathroom" Vida screeched as if her voice was rolling over me to catch up with her in there.
"What's wrong?" I asked when I put my head on the door.
Vida seemed to be sitting on the toilet, smiling and expanding. The confused me then went in and squatted in front of him. "Don't make me more confused, honey."
Vida smiled meaningfully again, while thrusting a foreign object into my view. Objects that are shaped like a ballpoint pen, but slightly flattened, and white and blue.
After seeing that thing, I looked back at her face, but Vida continued to put on an endless expression of excitement. "Dear, please explain all this. I really don't understand" said I, who was still clutching the object tightly.
"Darling, look at those two red lines" Vida said as she gently patted my back. "That signifies that there is a small creature in my womb" she continued with the two glazed neutrals.
"Darling ...!" I returned his gaze, with an expression I found hard to express. So unreliable, I did not know to cheer or vice versa.
However, my indistinct expression made Vida frown in astonishment. "Aren't you happy if I'm pregnant?" asked Vida with a facial expression that was suddenly inversely proportional to before.
