“Tumben once Boss Parlin stopped by here, usually have a coffee on the shelf there!” greet Oppung Sirait with a big smile, so that visitors to his shop chuckled.
Parlin just smiled at Oppung Sirait's joke and he immediately walked into the store, then said, “Bikin used to be a black coffee glass. Do not many times the sugar, yes ‘Pung!” He put his iPhone 13 Pro on the long table of the store, so there was jealousy from the unemployed who were there and they were wondering as rich as Parlin.
“You have no work, Zul?” Parlin's gaze turned to Zulkarnain who was busy staring at the screen of his smartphone.
“There is no bang Parlin, what is it?” Zul immediately looked at him, he suspected Parlin was alluding to his unpaid debts. Though he has chosen silence since the arrival of Parlin— for the existence of Parlin was not noticed, but the silent mode he used was not successful.
“The wood on the mountain has piled up, I lack members. You want to come?” Parlin offers a job of lifting wooden beams on Zulkarnain. “Rather than hanging out indistinctly here, instead piling up your debt!” insinuating, so Zul frowned.
“What is one beam?” asked Zul interested in his offer, after all he had no money at all.
“25.000 one beam, if you lift two enough it can be 50.000,” said Parlin while brewing his coffee is still hot.
“Away no, up there?” Zul felt his wages were too low.
“Depart now, Afternoon is back to the mountainside!” parlin's Suhut. “How? The road is good, right. If you agree we'll leave now!”
Zul feels pretty good about 50,000 later, even though he's never done anything like this before. However, his mother no longer wanted to give him pocket money, so he could no longer fill the quota of his Smartphone data and always owed on behalf of his father in this Shop.
“You're not coming, Pottas?” Zul asked his best friend, but Pottas shook his head. He had been kapok helped lift wooden beams from mount— because he had been arrested by Police patrol, fortunately only released by Parlin with ransom.
Parlin soon finished his coffee and immediately went with Zul to a mountain a few kilometers from Tonga Village.
On the slopes of the mountain, several workers have gathered who will go up the mountain to transport the wooden beams belonging to Parlin.
“You come with them, later ask them to teach you how to transport easy wood—so you don't miss behind. Afraid it will rain in the afternoon and the path you pass becomes slippery!” parlin exclaimed as they got out of his car in his wooden warehouse which is right at the foot of the mountain—which will be climbed by Zul and other workers.
Zul nods his head and picks up the rope in the cabin of Parlin's car, he then follows the workers who soon climb the mountain. His feeling became nervous, because he was not sure whether he could carry the wooden block later.
...A Few Moments Later...
“Work beam microwaves, deck?” greet the middle-aged man on Zul who was bored climbing the mountain, even though they were only half way to the place where the wooden beams they would transport.
“Hah? I obviously brought the rope, why else?” Zul was very upset to hear his question.
The middle-aged man was surprised to hear Zul's reply and said, “I thought you were foreman ha-ha-ha!“ He laughed wryly. “If you are tired just rest, later we wait above!” said again.
Zul just frowned, how could he rest alone here—there he would be brought by the ghosts of the wilderness. Just thinking about it, he immediately goosebumps and quickens his pace.
