“Don't die from falling over Quinn!” A boy screamed in the hallway.

Quinn continued walking down the school corridor. Harassment had become a daily occurrence to him, but it still bothered him every day and he could not help but retaliate.
Quinn paused and pushed her glasses back up as her glasses slipped off her face. He needed a new pair and just from looking at it, you could tell that it was very outdated. The sides were covered with tape and did not even fit on his face.
Quinn turned around and pointed at the middle finger.
“I'm sure you don't even know how many fingers I raised!”
The boy clenched his fists and started running towards Quinn.
“You level 1 bullshit! When will you find out that you are not part of this world?”
The boy then fused his hands together and a ball of green light began to form. When he was only a few meters away from Quinn, the boy threw his hand forward and a green light shot out from his palm.
Quinn had no place to go and the light beam was too fast to avoid. All he could do was grit his teeth and endure the pain. As the light hit Quinn, her body lifted into the air and flung backwards towards the corridor wall.
“What's going on?” One of the students nearby said. “Did they fight on the last day of school?”
A crowd immediately formed outside as people were attracted by the commotion. One of the schoolgirls ran to the broken part of the wall to check the safety of her students.
The dust began to settle and Quinn's slightly curly black hair began to show. When finally all the dust cleared and the woman saw who it was, she immediately backed down and continued her business as if nothing had happened.

When the schoolgirl returns to her friends, Quinn can see that they are laughing at her.
“I can't believe you tried to help him.”
“I don't see who it is.” Reply to the girl with flushed cheeks.
After which, Quinn stood up and lifted her glasses off the floor. Once again one of the sides fell.
“Sials. No more ..”
It was the last day of school for Quinn and she hoped that just once someone would not try anything with her. Quinn was fed up and tired of it and he was also not the type to ignore it. He has seen people who choose to keep their heads down and tolerate their abuse and treatment far worse than he gets.
Quinn did not bother living in school like the other students. As he walked past, he saw people talking to each other. Some laughed while some shed tears at thinking this was the last time they met again, but Quinn was not part of it all and she did not want to.
When he finally got home, Quinn immediately started working. Quinn lived in a one-bedroom apartment that had enough space to accommodate one bed and a table. There are also TVs that are part of the wall but Quinn will only use it as a background sound and not actually watch anything.
The apartment was given to her by the government because she had no surviving relatives and was only 16 years old. On his bed was a suitcase containing all his belongings neatly.
The moment Quinn entered her room, she immediately opened her drawer which contained the book inside. It was a large tome that weighed about half a kilo. The front of the book is black and in the center is a ring with lines that point in all directions.
“Let's try again today,” Quinn said as she placed the book on the table.

He then immediately went to his bag to take out a small test tube filled with clear liquid inside.
“Test 112, Hydrochloric acid. Let's see how it goes.” Quinn then began to slowly pour the liquid from the test tube into the book.
“So far no reaction.” Quinn then proceeded to pour the entire test tube into the book but still there was no reaction.
“Failure again. Why don't you open up? Why do mom and dad have this thing?”
One hundred and twelve times. These are a number of different ways Quinn tried to open her book. Not only was the book not open, but it also seemed to be incorruptible. Quin had tried to burn the book, cut the book, melted the book. But, nothing works.
Quinn then went to lie down on her bed and turn on the TV to avoid background noise. He never really noticed what was playing, but the sound of another voice made him feel less lonely.
The TV is currently tuned to a news station.
“A peace treaty with the Dalki race has been going on for five years now, but officials say that tensions are escalating once again and we must prepare for war again.”.
The mention of war has always aired on nonstop TV since that day. Thirty years ago, humanity received a visit from the so-called Dalki. They looked like humans except for their dragon-like tail and their scales-like skin.
They immediately demanded that mankind hand over their resources and wanted to use them as slaves. Of course, humans decided to fight back but they soon discovered that their modern technology was useless against them. Bullets could not penetrate their skin and for tanks, Dalki had airships.

Every man and woman is ordered to fight for their planet and that includes Quinn's parents. The war lasted for years and Quinn grew up without knowing what her parents were like.
When humanity is on the verge of defeat, a select few come forward. These people have special abilities. They began to share their knowledge of how they obtained such power in hopes of turning things around in the war and it worked. Even so, Dalki is still strong and the seemingly endless deadlock leads to the signing of a peace treaty five years ago.
Of course, human greed took hold of humanity and instead of sharing this power with everyone, higher government officials decided to keep it to themselves. Only those with money could learn stronger abilities while the others had leftovers.
Quinn was given nothing when her parents died. The government agreed to pay her living expenses while she was still in school but that was it. When his parents died at the age of ten, an agent appeared at his door and gave him a book. He was told that this was the only property of his parents that they inherited when they died.
“Why is the world so unfair?”
Quinn got up from her bed and started walking to her desk. He picked up his slightly damaged glasses and decided to fix them. He noticed that one of the lenses was slightly out of place and tried to put it back into his frame.
“Ayo, just log in!” He shouted as he pushed down hard.
The lens suddenly broke into pieces and one of the glass shards created a deep cut on his thumb.
“Why the world hates me.”
Quinn immediately began to clean up the broken glass and noticed that a piece had fallen on top of his book. As Quinn released the broken glass, a drop of blood from his thumb landed in the middle of the book.
The ring around the middle of the book began to shine and suddenly the book started to lift into the air.

“What happened!”
The book began to shine brightly and shake uncontrollably. It finally opened and page after page was turned around. Quinn could not take her eyes off the shining book as if she was in a trance state. The words written on the book were not in any language she had seen before but for some reason, she felt like she could understand it.
When the book finally turned its last page, it began to disappear as if it was slowly turning into dust. At the same time, Quinn's vision began to fade. His body felt limp and his eyes slowly closed.
But before he fainted, there was one message he heard.
[Welcome you've got the Va. .]
Unable to maintain consciousness long enough to hear his last words, Quinn fainted.
