Today Kevan, Deryl and Vania and Matteo go to court for Kevan's father's case. Naya is not coming because baby K is sick and chatty. The four men walked in eagerly to enter the court room followed by all Matteo's men to keep watch in case something happened. They sat in front row seats, while the rest were filled with Matteo's men and others.

Kevan's father entered the courtroom and was escorted by two police officers and placed him in the defendant's seat. For this case, Kevan and Matteo have hired the best lawyer for Deryl. The trial opened quietly, with no commotion followed by a hammer knock by the judge.

"Deryl's brother was kidnapped and tortured by defendant Ardinata Rahadi in an old warehouse, wounds obtained in the form of whips, wound blows and knife wounds in the abdomen. Not only that, the other crimes of defendant Ardinata Rahadi are; committed premeditated murder in 2000 to a couple of businessmen named Jashid Ananta and Sarah Carl for a personal vendetta, both of whom are the biological parents of Deryl's brother Carl Ananta. With this, I am suing defendant Ardinata Rahadi for a life sentence in prison, Your Honor" said Malik, Deryl's lawyer.

After giving a damning statement to Kevan's father, Malik sat down again to listen to the rebuttal Kevan's father's lawyer would make. Clearly, the rebuttal he would hear was objection.

"The defendant Ardinata Rahadi has no personal grudge against Jashid Ananta and Sarah Carl, defendant Ardinata Rahadi clean from the accident case that befell Jashid Ananta and Sarah Carl because it was pure accident."

After that, there was a debate between Malik and Kevan's father's lawyer. Meanwhile, Matteo who saw the face of Kevan's father was happy just being able to laugh softly.

"Why are you laughing? They're not joking!" deryl whispers to Matteo.

"No, it's not that. I only realized that an Ardinata Rahadi was too stupid to fight a Matteo Karlafa Abraham."

"What do you mean?" deryl did not understand.

"Wait and just watch everything go quietly."

After saying so, Matteo refocused on the debate conducted by the two lawyers. A few minutes later, the trial went a little rough because the Kevan family felt they did not accept the demands made to Kevan's father. Then as things got more chaotic, there came an old man who was escorted by Matteo's men.

"I have evidence of the crime Mr. Ardinata Rahadi, Your Honor" said the old man.

"Please" said the judge.

"I was the driver who drove Mr. Jashid and Sarah's mother to the airport to Chicago for business. But on the way to the airport, our car was intercepted by several vans. Mr. Jashid and Sarah's mother were forcibly pulled out of the car and killed, then the car windshield and others were made to look like a pure accident. And I saw for myself with the eyes of my head, that the one who killed Jashid sir and Sarah's mother was Ardinata!"

After saying the big secret, Kevan's father suddenly ran to attack the man so that the trial went awry and was forced to be stopped in order to maintain each other's security.

"Where did you get that old man, Teo?" deryl asked when they were in the car to Kevan and Deryl's house.

"Actually I don't know, but my men are continuing to investigate your parents' deaths. Luckily, there is one website that can be accessed with an anonymous account. And well, my men got the information and immediately reported it to me."

"That was a long time ago .the incident in 2000 and now it's 2020, it's been 20 years that the case was hidden by my father" Kevan said regretfully.

"It's been a long time, Kevan. It's not your fault, don't feel guilty. I'm fine." said Deryl trying to make Kevan feel fine without blaming himself for what happened to Deryl's life.

"What Deryl said is true, Kevan. You don't have a problem with this, you don't even know about it, so stop blaming yourself. You are innocent." said Matteo.

"Stay with me. I'm the son of the criminal, you should be careful of me, Deryl."

"Already, Kevan. It's okay, I'm not dead, am I? So you can still be my babu later, just calm down."

"Deryl isn't good at handling the atmosphere." - Vania.

"Man like him can overcome the atmosphere, which is even messing up the atmosphere, I memorized it right" added Matteo mocking Deryl.

They all stayed silent until they got home. They went straight into the house, even Matteo who incidentally as a guest, joined in getting used to the house, like the house was his too.

"What do you want to drink?" ask Kevan.

"I want orange juice, but don't get sour" Deryl said first, taking a tissue and cleaning her face.

"I'm mineral water." said Vania.

"I also equated with Vania, it is said that having similarities is a sign of a mate." replied Matteo.

"What the hell, it's you who equals Vania." said Deryl ketus.

Vania laughs at Deryl and Matteo's silly behavior. "Alright, Deryl. Teo's brother was just kidding."

"Do I look like I'm kidding you, Vania Allesandra?" matteo asked with drama.

One sofa cushion landed smoothly right on the face of Matteo who was wearing a hearty expression because he was laughed at by Vania. And for the pillow thrower who is so professional, who else if not done by Deryl Ananta.

"What?!" deryl asked ferociously as Matteo looked at her sharply.

"IT'S OKAY, COUSIN-IN-LAW" replied Matteo emphasizing his every word.

"Cousin-law, your teeth! I've made it very clear that I won't approve of you being in contact with Vania!"

"If Vania likes me too how? What do you want?"

"Did Vania like you?"

"Vania, you like me, don't you?"

Vania laughed softly. "I consider Brother Teo to be like Deryl. Not more."

"Auuuuhhhh!" deryl's burlesque while holding her chest.

"You hurt my heart, right in the middle of it, Vania. Not shifting one bit. Vania's pain, Sakiiiiiettt." Matteo said full of drama.

"What's this?" ask Naya who just arrived with Kenzio and sit down.

"Matteo is rejected by Vania."

"Actually, I'm sure Vania won't reject me, but this evil Deryl keeps inciting Vania, I'm sure of that. He's a sneaky."

Finally Deryl again beat Matteo with a pillow accompanied by the sound of laughter Naya and Vania who saw the two men fighting. Looks like Deryl found a new rival to fight with besides Kevan.
