The Remnants of Chaos

The guests of the Cokro family finally said goodbye as the situation became uncomfortable. Some are saying goodbye to the host, but many also immediately leave the house without saying goodbye first. Rengganis and Lastri seemed to be calming Maurin on the sofa. While Rolland and Atmaja are also confused who will stand on whose side.

Seeing Rolland bewildered, Jenny felt self-aware. He calmly approached Rolland for his return home.

"Rolland. Give confidence to Mr. Devan, at this time he needs support to be able to survive through all, also take care of the cute Aleta. She's my role model" Jenny said, calming Rolland down and trying to make jokes.

"I'm sorry Jenn, I can't take you home" Rolland said, clasping Jenny's hand.

"It's okay Rolland, I understand, your family is in need of your presence right now. It's yes, I'm home" Jenny finally came home by taxi.

Rolland escorted Jenny to the taxi door. He could only look and wave as the taxi took Jenny away.

Meanwhile, Lastri and Rengganis talked about Devan's desire to do a DNA test at this time.

"Sorry Jeng, I won't risk the health of Maurin and his baby. Because DNA testing done while the baby is still in the womb, it will have an adverse effect on the baby. I don't want my granddaughter to be born disabled." Lastri resists Devan's plans to conduct current DNA testing.

Having just set foot one step inside, Atmaja immediately pulled his wife's hand and took her to the room.

While Rolland just sat dumbly on the chair, while seeing Bi Puji and security clean up dirty eating utensils. Suddenly Cokro came and patted him on the shoulder.

"It's night, don't think much" said Cokro quietly.

"Grandpa, why is Grandpa so calm tonight. Is grandfather happy because he will get great-grandfather, despite having to hurt his brother-in-law," asked Rolland confusedly to see his grandfather who remained calm like nothing happened. Whereas usually, if there is a little stimulus, his grandfather will go berserk.

"Don't think much. Sleep first. Tomorrow after the office, come to grandfather's room, all the questions tonight will be answered." said Cokro as he stepped away from Rolland to enter the room.

"Mr Rolland, trust Mr. Devan. Nothing happened between Mr. Devan and non-Maurin, aunty guaranteed. Mr. Devan loves Non Aleta very much, even though Master never showed it." Bi Puji helped convince Rolland about his brother while lifting dirty dishes to the dishwasher.

Seeing that everyone had already entered their respective rooms, Rolland finally returned to his room as well.

"Fuck grandson, man,. Aleta is still studying, and she is not even 20 years old. They still have a long time to have children." sergeant Atmaja tried to defend Aleta.

"How can you be so sure of Maurin's child that he is Devan's. DNA testing has not been done." Atmaja remained confused by Rengganis's beliefs.

Rengganis smiled cynically triumphantly.

"What do you mean by planning it." cried Atmaja in a high tone.

Rengganis tells the story of chronology until Devan and Maurin spend time together in bed.

"Plak..," suddenly Atmaja slapped Rengganis hard.

"Hiks.hiks. Why did you slap me. Mas." Rengganis was shocked by Atmaja's response and she started crying.

"Your heart is dirty Anis, your mind is depraved. You trap your son in sin just to fulfill your lust" said Atmaja angrily.

Rengganis was silent and wept bitterly, seeing that Atmaja did not support her, but instead hurt her heart. Seeing his wife crying, Atmaja came out of the room and slammed the door hard.

Praise and security who are cleaning up the remnants of dirt, looking at each other see Atmaja with a tangled face out of the room by slamming the door. With understanding, Puji immediately took a glass of water and gave it to Atmaja.

"Drink first Master, so that his heart may calm down a little.' said Puji.

"I'm going to sleep tonight in a guest room near the pool. If Rengganis is looking for me, you just say you don't know.' said Atmaja.

To calm his mind, Atmaja immediately exited the main room, and headed straight for the guest room located near the pool.

The night finally regained its calm, but not as calm as it had been in Devan and Aleta's room.
