My Soul in Grandpa's Hands

My Soul in Grandpa's Hands
Aleta

The day still looks evening, even the sun is still ashamed to show itself. But Aleta, a girl who has lived in an orphanage since she was a child, has gone to the market to peddle market snacks. He used to offer his homemade cakes to the merchants.

Almost every day, Aleta undergoes her routine habits without feeling saturated. He always got up at 03.00 am to do tahajud prayers, then struggled in the kitchen to make talam cakes and arems to be taken to the market. At 05:00 in the morning, on a bicycle, Aleta had already set out to peddle her cake to the market. Although the benefits obtained are not much, but Aleta continues to live happily.

"Aleta, wait." call Haris the son of Mr. Broto the trader in the market, who is also his upperclassman when he is in High School.

Aleta stopped waiting for Haris while marginalizing her bike. Then they chatted on foot towards Aleta's return.

"What's wrong, brother." he asked politely.

"Kok hurry, hunt where to go."

"You helped mommy at the parlour prepare breakfast for the sisters."

"O that's it, how's your college going.., all right?"

"Alhamdulillah sis, the lecturer is well. They helped me a lot by sending modules and e-books to the learning media."

"Good then, so you have no trouble accessing the material."

"Yes, brother."

Aleta is currently undergoing studies by studying at the Academy of Management and Informatics semester 3. He majored in Informatics by utilizing the Excellence Scholarship from the campus because of his academic achievements.

"Self how is college." Aleta asked about Haris' college progress.

"I am now following an internship program at Bank Indonesia, well while looking for work experience and adding points in SKPI (Letter of Certificate of Apprentice).

"In addition, I am also studying the final thesis writing course."

"So, I don't think Haris will graduate soon."

"I am currently in semester seven. Pray for me yes, so that I can graduate on time with a study period of 3.5 years."

"Together, brother, we pray for each other for our success. Aamiin's."

"Sister Haris, I go first. Pity the mother of the orphanage no friends prepare breakfast brothers"

"Eight o'clock I also have to go to campus, there is a task that I have to leave to the lecturer today." said Aleta to Haris.

"Yes be careful Aleta. Later at 07:45 I picked up at the parlor. Instead of riding the angkot alone, you can be with me later. Can save money." Haris.

"Isn't it a hassle?"

"No, we're in the same direction. I also want to get ready first. Good bye Aleta."

"Goodbye, Haris."

The two of them eventually parted ways to their respective residences.

"How do you sell, son, do you sell everything?" asked the mother of the parlour gently to Aleta.

"Thank God, ma'am, there were mothers who bought everything. He said to Snack Arisan."

"Alhamdulillah I'm happy son."

" Aleta., I want to talk"

"These lads still have enough money from donors to finance your studies and younger siblings."

"Especially you get a scholarship to finance college. You don't have to push yourself, son, you don't have to make extra money."

"Put your lecture, son, don't let your busy selling cakes interfere with your learning."

"Inshaa Allah is not a mother, rather than Aleta no activities, Aleta can look for additional allowance" he said while concocting vegetables to cook.

"Through the sale of cakes, Aleta can meet and get acquainted with new people. Who knows if Aleta will ever need their help" he continued with a smile.

Aleta is a diligent and determined child. He was always light-handed helping anyone selflessly. The pocket money earned from the scholarship provider is always used well. In addition to transportation money, not infrequently also he used to buy snacks for the younger siblings of the home

"Assalamu Alaikum Bu Rosa." Haris greeted the orphanage mother while kissing her hand.

"Wa Alaikum salam nak Haris. Tumben this early has arrived at the orphanage. Same deal with Aleta?" ask Miss Rosa kindly.

"Yes mom, I just happened to meet Aleta at the market. He's got a schedule to meet the lecturer at eight. Coincidentally I also entered at eight, and because we are in the same direction as I take Aleta together" Haris explained.

"Thank you, Haris. Please take care of Aleta. He's a good, diligent son, Solehah. I've looked at him like my own mother's son."

"Insha Allah Bu Rosa."

From inside the house Aleta is ready to go to campus. He walked over to Miss Rossa and Haris.

"Haris has been here a long time?"

"Just now, keep looking for Miss Rosa to chat. I didn't want to come here for long" Haris said.

Rosa smiled happily at Haris and Aleta together. Haris is a good and devoted son to his parents. Miss Rosa feels safe if Aleta walks with Haris. He's a kid who never sneaks around.

"We're leaving now Aleta." asked Haris.

"Yes, brother, rather than getting stuck. Because it's the busy rush-hour people go to work."

"Mother.., we're leaving first huh" Aleta and Haris said goodbye while kissing Ms. Rosa's hand.

"Yes be careful on the road. Don't speed up, Haris."

"Yes Ma'am, God willing."

"Assalamualaik."

"Wa Alaikum salam."

Haris hands the helmet to Aleta. Then he runs his bike while shaking Aleta.

Fifteen minutes' drive, they finally reached the grounds of the Aleta campus. Haris stops his bike in front of the campus gate, then helps Aleta remove the helmet hook on her neck.

"Thank you, Haris.'

"Tama-sama Aleta. What time will it be home."

"Not yet to know brother. Today I have a schedule of two classes, three SKS each. If it's on time, at 12:30 I just got out of class."

"Oh yes, then be careful to take care of yourself. I'll go to work first." Haris says goodbye to Aleta.

"Yes brother, God willing."

Haris starts his bike and leaves for work, and Aleta then walks slowly into the campus.

"Hi Aleta, I want to see Mr. Herdi ya." asked Corry his friend in college.

"Yes Cor, this is willing to give up the task," he answered while showing the volume of the paper.

"I just got together too."

"I'll wait here, and then we'll go to class. Mr. Herdi is not in the place, his job is asked to put in the locker."

"Yes, wait a minute."

After entering the task at the lecturer locker, Aleta and Corry headed to class to attend the Artificial Intelligence lecture.
