Ancient Ruins

Ughhhh.. I'm very worried about the tests Alvin is doing. Come to think of it again, this is quite a difficult test. To hunt in the forest of Hera needs mature skills. I can only hope there is no problem there.

I looked back at my somewhat stacked worksheet. Ever since I became an academy teacher I've been dealing a lot with files. Fortunately the disciples remained polite even though my body was like this. Well, shorter than all of them.

Actually I want to tell you the truth about the Leegel race. It's not just a matter of ability but about my race's current condition. Few people know it and I want Alvin to know it.

I let out a heavy breath. Maybe I'll tell you later. I hope he's not surprised. Perhaps the truth of the race will not surprise him, but there is another one that I have hidden. And this is about me. That no one knows this but myself. What if Alvin knew he'd hate me?

I stood up from my chair and headed to the equipment table. I took a teapot and tea powder. But, just as I was about to make a cup of tea, a voice rang out in my mind.

"June Cordelia."

Hm? Mr Wiz's voice?

“Meet me at the principal's office. There's something important to talk about." said the voice in my head.

"Good sir."

I put my tekoku back in its place. Too bad I had to postpone my ngeteh event. But yeah how else.

"Teleportation."

Immediately I was in front of the principal's room. I knocked on the door of the room.

"Come in."

I opened the door of the room and found Mr. Wiz sitting seriously and an officer assigned to the exam area.

"What's the problem?" my many.

Mr. Wiz let out a breath. Then looked at the officer. The officer nodded and turned to me.

"We found an irregularity in the Hera forest area" the officer said.

I was a little surprised. My worry went up quickly. Alvin's there. He could be in danger.

"Explain the awkwardness" I said.

"We found some low-level monsters that were supposed to be sealed with the demon lord" the officer explained.

"Low-level monsters like goblins?" my many.

The officer nodded. "Goblin, Orcs, imp. And the most problematic Ogre."

I was shocked to hear that and immediately clasped the officer's shoulder hard. "That ogre is not a low-level monster anymore. You have to stop this test."

"Calm down June" said Mr. Wiz.

Hearing that I became upset and raised my voice. "How can I calm down?! There is an Ogre there and it will harm the disciples!!"

"The matter of Ogre has been overcome by the officers. They managed to defeat the Ogre." Obviously Mr. Wiz.

I looked back at the officer sharply. "What right?"

The officer nodded quickly. "Actually the problem isn't just there."

I let out my breath. Surely I understand. Bigger problem than that.

"The reason why they were killed?"

The officer nodded. "We've also investigated the reason why a monster that should have been sealed roamed again."

"And what did you find?"

"We found an unkempt temple ruins there. And it looks like the monsters are coming out of there. You actually want to investigate further. But we have not dared to enter it." explained the officer.

"It's good that you don't enter it. Your decision is right." I said.

I glanced at Mr. Wiz. Awaiting decision.

"Alright, it looks like I have to step in." Said mr. Wiz.

"Will you enter the temple?" ask officer.

"Yes, I'll enter the ruins."

"You want to join June?“

I nodded quickly. "While I'm not as good as you, I can certainly be useful in battle."

Mr. Wiz laughed when he heard me. "How can I doubt someone with the title of elementalist? Of course I'll feel helped."

I smiled a little. "In that case, should we leave now?"

"So this is the ruins."

In front of me right now looks a building like a temple that has a lot of damage everywhere. The rocks of the building were already bound by roots and covered with moss because of the damp Hera forest.

"If so let's go in June." Mr. Wiz glanced at the officer who had pointed at the road. "And you wait here. I'm afraid there's danger inside."

"All right sir." replied the officer.

Me and Mr. Wiz went in and left the officer. The ruins look quite extensive from the inside. Inside it like a labyrinth, is there a trap here?

“I just found out there are ruins like this. And last year there was no problem in this forest." said Mr. Wiz.

"Is it possible that this happened suddenly? Like these ruins moved."

"Can be. But for a displacement magic for something of this magnitude to make its displacement affected by time. So because of the acceleration of displacement, the time experienced by these ruins has accelerated. Perhaps this is what makes these ruins look like old ruins."

"Waw, that's beyond bi-"

"Sstt.." Mr. Wiz cut my words. "It looks like there's a occupant here."

Mr. Wiz quickly swung his hand and soon a magic light appeared and moved in the direction that Mr. Wiz was heading. There was a goblin there. In an instant the goblin lost his life when Pak Wiz's magic beam pierced his head.

"Hm.. There might be a lot of monsters appearing in the future. [Magical Patrol]."

Mr. Wiz conjured up 4 magic birds and let them fly into every passage of those ruins.

"With this the monsters will be slaughtered easily."

I just laughed a little hearing that. His magic was really practical but it was actually difficult to use. Even I was only able to take out 1 bird and required a high focus. But he easily did.

We walked back down the ruins. A lot of dead monsters were lifeless when me and Mr. Wiz passed through the hallways. Pak Wiz's magic is pretty brutal.

Suddenly Mr. Wiz looked surprised. Looks like something happened to that magic bird.

"What's up, sir?" my many.

"It seems I found the source of the problem." Mr. Wiz smiled and then took my hand. "We're going straight to my stern. Teleportation!“

"Let's go!" I screamed in surprise. And at once my cry stopped when I saw before me there were 3 large-bodied Ogres with ash skin. His face flicked with long, sharp lower canine teeth like the tusks of an elephant. They carried a big mace in their hands. And behind them was a dark portal the size of their bodies. They glanced at me and Mr. Wiz who was suddenly in front of them. They sniffed loudly and shouted loudly. Without further ado they swung their mace at me and Mr. Wiz.

I jumped back quickly while Mr. Wiz used [Blink] magic and moved into the air. Well, he's flying. High level magic [Fly]. No wonder the strongest magician was able to use that magic.

"June shut up there. It'll be over quickly." Said mr. Wiz.

Okay I'll shut up. Now even I wonder if I should have come or not come here.

Mr. Wiz quickly cast magic and took it out in mid-air.

"Fire Bullets!!"

A series of fire bullets flew towards the three Ogres. They seemed overwhelmed with the attack.

"Then let this go, Fire Bolt!!"

Ah!! Why use that magic!!

I hastily cast the magic [Triple Air Shield]. Because the magic released this time caused an incredible explosion. The huge fireball covered with electricity hit the three Ogres and made an explosion that almost hit me.

My protective magic until it breaks 2 layers. I can't believe Mr. Wiz used that much magic in this not-so-big room. And of course the three Ogres had been charred out and left only the monster cores lying on the ground. And the ruins began to tremble and even collapse and make the entire roof collapse. And of course I was overwhelmed to hold it in.

"It turns out not enough." said Mr. Wiz.

"Not enough what?! That was a real danger!!" I cried with annoyance. I came out of the rubble in a protected condition of magic protector and used magic [Fly]. Actually, this magic I don't use often because it drains a large enough mana.

Mr. Wiz laughed a little. "I know you can handle it. But look in front of you."

"Hmm?" I looked in front of me. And it turned out that even though the ruins were damaged by the magic explosion, the dark portal did not look damaged at all.

"It seems like there is no other way but to seal it" Mr. Wiz said seriously.
