Slowly the twilight began to come. The golden sun came down on the cobblestone streets of Pringjaya village. The roundness of the afternoon sun made a burning red hue at the end of the sky that looked yellowish orange that day.
One by one the villagers returned to their homes, each bringing fatigue and happiness. The building, designated as the village health center, now looks very different from before.
The dull and slightly horror shades are now replaced with a bright health center and looks like a new building. Starting from the roof that has been repaired to the precarious that has been finished colored with a bright brown color that looks very alive against a shiny white wall that half of it still looks wet.
The flow of electric current and some light bulbs are exchanged for larger, brighter bulbs. The flowers that had not previously existed are now arranged and lined up neatly in every corner.
Waiting chairs and some garden benches made of bamboo in bright colorful paint are now ready for use by residents who will wait for their handling turn.
Rengganis, Doctor Fattan, Midwife Maya, Mr. Hasbi and several other villagers with economic levels are quite able to not hesitate to spend the contents of his savings for the improvement of the joint health facilities.
Lauk-pauk, vegetables and some healthy snacks this afternoon were all not bought, residents with all the initiative and sincerity provide it in accordance with their respective abilities.
“Hah .. finally,” said Rengganis while clapping a small number of times.
Fattan who was at his side also observed the change in the appearance of the new face of the puskes.
“You must be at home here huh?” ask Fattan.
“You are also at home right?” The renganis asked back.
“He’eh. But I still have to go home tomorrow. Monday I must join the morning apple at dinkes.” Fattan breathed heavily.
“Eh but I still have an appointment with you, take a trip around and look around the village.”
The renganis remembered something. The girl seemed silent for a moment. His heart ached and was fragile imagining all the things he had done together with Captain Blue back then.
“It wasn't a promise, Re. It's plan. If you will feel pain while doing it then we do not need to work.” Fattan smiled understandingly.
“Not—no, we'll get around. But I have a better idea, what if we don't go around the same path I did. We'll find other corners that I've never been to. Hows it? All the extra deepening is also for me.”
Fattan shrugged both shoulders as a sign of surrender.
“I am really happy. But if anyone gets angry it's not my fault huh?” Fattan mocked Rengganis.
“Hahaha, take it easy, he won't dare to upset me again.”
“Loh how can that be? Don't tell me you two broke up? Wow this is big news, meaning there is hope for me huh?”
“Ye, I didn't say that either.” Rengganis nyelonong left Fattan who was still grimacing alone. His heart was flowering despite its very small size.
“Ayo, we're through here.” Rengganis stopped, looked back and gave orders to Fattan who was still standing to follow him immediately.
“We walk?” ask Fattan.
“Iya.” Rengganis nodded to confirm his answer.
“Yakin?” Fattan was doubtful of Rengganis' plans.
“Yakin. Wh why? You're not strong?” ledek Rengganis's.
“I'm not the one who's not strong. Fear you will not be strong.” Fattan walks ahead of Rengganis.
“Listen if later tired, do not ask for a sling yes,” cried Doctor Fattan bersedek Rengganis again.
“Nak aja, hahaha. You don't know I ever walked further than this route, while being chased by criminals again.” Rengganis remembers the bitter moments he had experienced in the early days of his service here.
Luckily there was Captain Blue, a mighty man who was always ready to defend and protect him.
The longing of the Rengganis in the man felt increasingly heavy. The shadow of Captain Blue's sweet-smiling face was always pacing back and forth in Rengganis's eyes. Suddenly the spirit of Rengganis disappeared. The beautiful girl walked slowly, her eyes looking down.
Fattan knew very well what the beautiful woman who had made her love clap one hand.
“Rengganis, check it out!” Fattan was standing at the end of the road. His hand pointed at a beautiful silhouette that was visible from the reflection of the afternoon sun on the pine trees lined up neatly on the side of a small road of village rocks.
Rengganis quickly approached Fattan with all his curiosity.
“Stand here!” the man's orders.
Rengganis obeyed Fattan's orders. The direction of the young girl's eyes was trailing on Fattan's index finger.
“Subhanaallah, beautiful right,” Rengganis lips gaping beautifully see the black shadow that bounces between yellow and orange.
“I'll be like that,” said Fattan.
“You mean?” Rengganis turned his head to where Fattan was standing stiffly.
“I will always be a black shadow perfecting that beautiful golden light.”
“Udah deh, use clear language aja dong, I was lazy to think tau.” Rengganis. Fattan laughed at him.
For Fattan to look at Rengganis from any angle will look beautiful and attractive. Even when the girl was advancing her binir like that. Everything in rengganis is a charm he has admired since he was a teenager.
“Malah dumbly?” Rengganis is still waiting for Fattan's explanation.
“Tomorrow I will go, but wherever I go when you need me I will be right back here. Remember that! you are not alone. I will always be your shadow.”
Rengganis was silent, her pink lips tightly locked.
“I gave up not because I didn't want to fight for you, Re. Maybe you know how much my love for you is. Hope you can feel that. However, I gave up. All for your happiness.”
Fattan paused, took a deep breath, then tried to continue.
“If you need me, I'm ready whenever it is, Re. This heart has become yours, I don't want to give a place to another woman. If there is still a little hope for me, then I will definitely come. Although your true love still belongs to him, I will. I will wait until you can receive me with all my soul.”
Rengganis bowed, slowly the woman sat cross-legged, looking at the beautiful view that Fattan had just shown.
“Since when did you know this beautiful place?” ask Rengganis.
Fattan sits cross-legged as the Rengganis do. His hands pulled out the elephant grass by his side.
“A few days after my arrival here.”
“Wicked, why did I share it with you today.”
“Because I want you to remember me while passing this road. Remembering all the words I said right now."
“Remember, that there is me always waiting for you,” continued Fattan.
“Don't be stupid, you're nice, handsome, established, smart. There will be many beautiful and good women who will love you why it should be a black shadow that complements something uncertain. If only you could be another sight that might be more beautiful.”
“Because this beautiful silhouette would not be perfect without a black shadow like me.”
“Fattan, I beg.”
“No. I can't Rengganis.” Fattan didn't want the Rengganis to argue.
Eventually the two of them only dwelled on silence for how long. Feel the chaos of their hearts. Fill a complicated and chaotic head.
“Let's go home, it's getting dark,” invite Fattan.
Rengganis stood up following Fattan's steps.
“Fattan, I'm sorry, you'll still be my best friend right?”
Fattan nodded without looking.
That night Rengganis and Fattan couldn't sleep well. They drift in their own feelings and fantasies. Much of what they had thought was that the full moon would soon fall in exchange for the dawn in the eastern sky.
Morning has called a flock of roosters to crow. Rengganis returned to his blankets after performing his duties as a Muslim.
His hand held a voice recorder that Captain Blue gave him the other day.
The recording he had played over and over again. Especially when his heart is upset and feels lonely.
Dear Renganis, when you listen to this voice of mine, I must be missing you terribly. I doubt a beautiful woman as perfect as you can hold me in your heart. Will you be able to have this difficult relationship? Until finally I will go home, pick you up as the queen who reigns for life in my heart.
Just so you know, Rengganis. I really like everything that's on you. Your silly attitude and expression of fear. All I remember clearly in my mind. At least it is a longing cure when we are far away.
Pray for me to return soon, pray for my safety until I am in front of the ruler with you.
Rengganis laughed every time he heard the tape.
“I'll be waiting for you.” Rengganis stood up, stuffing some things into his bag.
**
“I say goodbye first, sorry if while here troublesome Bu Midwife and others.” Fattan experienced one by one the medical staff at Pringjaya Health Center.
“Rengganis.” Fattan saw Rengganis coming from the back of the waiting room.
His cool appearance must have made everyone gasp in awe at him. A fairly large tote bag hooked up on his arm.
“Where are you going, Re?” ask Fattan confused.
“I'm coming with you. We're going to town together.”
Everyone present was made stunned. Dazed gazes came out from all over the corners of their eyes.
What exactly will Doctor Rengganis do?
Wait again yes!
Yea….
