MY POSSESSIVE CAPTAIN

MY POSSESSIVE CAPTAIN
THE SHEEP-WOLF

The break bell just rang a few minutes ago. Rengganis was still busy tidying up the scattered books on his desk.

“Going to school can we talk for a minute? There's something I have to say.” Fattan breathed a sigh of relief. Finally the words slid also with great difficulty from his mouth which was usually locked tightly when dealing with the Rengganis.

Rengganis was still speechless looking at Fattan's face as the man before her soon passed, leaving her with a thousand steps without even turning to her again.

“Did I ever make a mistake huh?” The gang looked hard thinking.

“Em?” Shylla stopped her movements trying to focus on listening to the words of her friend.

“Look, Fattan can be warm to anyone, but to me she kind of hates too.” Rengganis pointed to Fattan who was joking with laughter with Faycha.

Shylla nodded in allowing.

“Betul, to me he was ordinary, but when dealing with you why does he feel uncomfortable and disgusted huh?” Shylla reinforces Rengganis's guess.

“What am I wrong, Shyl?” ask Rengganis lugu.

“Maybe he hates you, you always beat him, Re.”

“What is it?” The eyes of Rengganis narrowed.

“Hem, think about it, Fattan was always a star in her school first. However, after meeting you here she became nothing.”

“I never thought like that. To me Fattan is a good discussion buddy, she's smart and critical. I like his logic-filled way of thinking.” The rengganis feel sorry.

“That's what you think Fattan might be different. It could be in his eyes, you are the heavy rival he hates the most, Rengganis. I heard that Fattan will also run for the chair of the osis. Means you guys will compete again.”

“Oh yes? Is that why he wants to talk to me four-eyes?”

“Can be so. Maybe he'll threaten you to back out of that election.”

“Ah but it looks like Fattan is not that kind of person, she is a fair and clean child. I'm not sure he used devious means to get rid of his opponents.”

“I hope so too. Let's go to the canteen! I was hungry, so imagine Mak Inah's meatballs that maknyoss. Come, Rengganis!” bring Shylla.

“Ah thank you, Shyl. I've brought this.” Rengganis shows special food made by grandmother.

“What is it?” Shylla sat down.

“Bistick granny cow plus corn fried rice, let's eat!” bargained for.

“It looks good, but I want spicy meatballs again,” reject Shylla, the beautiful girl with thick glasses.

“Your life is very lucky ta, Re. Your family loves you and cares about you. Even though your mama is busy but she never forgets to bring you provisions.”

“It's not Mommy who cooks but Grandma. Hehe. Mami can't cook like me,” honestly Rengganis.

“Oh yes?” Shylla laughed remembering her thoughts that turned out to be off the mark.

“Hem, Grandma who always cooks and cheers told me to spend all the food she made. Sometimes I'm afraid that one day my stomach will continue to bulge and I'll get really ugly. Hahaha.” The rengganis laughed.

"I'll look forward to those moments," Shylla laughed softly at Rengganis.

"Bad you, Shyl." The rengganis chuckled.

“So your mom is also super busy like most successful career women huh, Rengganis?”

“Ya can be said so. But Mami always did her job after I left school, Shyl. In the morning he will make sure I spend breakfast and go to school with all the things I need first, then Mami cappus takes care of all the business that I do not understand it,” stories Rengganis.

“Before I go home tutoring and courses, Mami is usually home,”.

“Enak ya have his own company like Mammu, so all according to his own will, no one set-up and angry. Not like my mom who always bothered. Where ever he cared about breakfast and my homework.” Shylla.

“We have to understand, they did all that for us, Shyl. Your mama a banker must be heavy duty and responsibility.”

“Iya, Re. Thank you for being my friend. I'll go to the canteen first.” Shylla smiled and left the busy Rengganis to open her food supply.

The beautiful teenager recalled the blue box that Fattan threw away this morning.

“Why is he so?” rengganis.

“Ah I don't know,” Rengganis feed the first corn fried rice into his mouth. The head of the girl nodded her head feeling the pleasure of grandmother's cooking.

“Can I sit here?” Kikan who was carrying a food supply in his hand came closer.

“Hey, let's eat together.” Rengganis seemed happy to have a friend to eat.

Kikan and Rengganis seemed to have a warm conversation. I don't know what they're talking about, Rengganis is indeed a pleasant figure. Everything she talked about became something very interesting. His intelligence and extensive knowledge make Rengganis always able to appear impressive with anyone he speaks.

From far away two pairs of eyes looked at them full of admiration. Farel and Fattan.

“You'll try to go home later right, Bro?” Farel again make sure the courage of his best friend does not slack back.

“Wish me yes, Rel.” Fattan held onto her heart that was beating so badly.

“Iya must I pray.”

“Thank you yes, My friend.”

“Udah no need to hesitate. It's not just for you, Tan. But for me too.”

“You mean?” Fattan glared, her hunch stating something was wrong.

“Yes, I pray you are rejected, so next I will fight Rengganis until the blood point of destruction.” Farel ran away from Fattan.

“Damn you, Rel.” Fattan ran after Farel, who had left him.

**

A cloudy covered sun that blocks its hue of light bounces on the smooth bark of Rengganis standing under the acacia tree in front of the school. The girl fulfills her promise to meet Fattan one eye.

Rengganis was impatient to solve his problems and the man who always looked strange in front of him. It had been almost five minutes that the beautiful girl was standing there, but Fattan's face had not yet appeared.

“Hey,” Arju blindfolded Rengganis.

“It's dark, who's it?”

“Kak Arju nih,” guess Rengganis.

Arju chuckled while releasing both of her hands from Rengganis' eyes. The beautiful hands of Rengganis hit Arju several times, for the umpteenth time movement, Arju caught the hands of the beautiful girl who had long been the occupant of his heart.

Rengganis fell silent, looking at Arju who suddenly looked at her lovingly. His right hand picked up something inside the bag and immediately placed it on the right hand of Rengganis which he still held tightly.

“Accept this flower yes, Rengganis.”

Rengganis stared at a bouquet of red roses neatly arranged together with some edelweiss inside.

“This is the epitome of my love for you, the love that I find hard to get but when I succeed in getting it, I promise, my love will continue to bloom will never wither like these edelweiss flowers.”.

“And this red rose is a symbol of the fragrance and earnestness of my love, thank my love yes, Rengganis.” Arju put on a hopeful face.

Fattan, who saw the incident, turned around to undo his intentions. He realized his plan to declare love to the Rengganis was something stupid. He knew he would only be humiliated by declaring his vain love.

Fattan realized, he was nothing compared to Arju, a sporty man who loved students in their school even in other schools.

“Hey, why?” Farel who saw Fattan change direction looked confused.

After witnessing what was happening in front of him, Farel came to understand why Fattan had canceled the plan that he had been planning since morning.

“You're sorry, Tan.” Farel passed by Arju who was still trying to convince Rengganis to accept his love even though he knew hundreds of pairs of eyes watching them.

“Kak, Rengganis shy.” Rengganis covered her face with a bouquet of flowers she had just received from Arjuna.

“Allow Rengganis think first yes, Brother?” The gang tried to buy time.

“I will wait for you until anytime.” Arju smiled understandingly.

“Let's go home,” take Arju who already knows tomorrow the news about him and Rengganis will be the talk of everyone at school.

Arju opened the crowd to make way for the Rengganis. The man pulled the hand of the spoiled girl he had to protect from the many eyes filled with curiosity.

Shylla smiled complacently, her plan to keep Fattan and Rengganis away was successful. At least for today, although the girl will continue to pray Fattan no longer has feelings for Rengganis after seeing everything that happened before her this afternoon.

Shylla had known for a long time that Fattan had put his heart on the Rengganis, however, he pretended not to know and always made Fattan seem to hate the Rengganis. Shylla tried to make enmity between them.

At least even though Shylla could not have Fattan, she did not want Rengganis to be Fattan's lover. It was too painful to see Rengganis seize what he wanted.

“You're too perfect, Re. I'm jealous.” Shylla whispered softly.

Shyla who comes from a broken home family really wants the life that Rengganis has. Everything her best friend has is the best. Fate always stands with him. That's what Shylla always hated.

Shylla could only pretend to be a good friend of the Rengganis while waiting as she had the chance to complicate the life of the Rengganis.

It was not that Shylla had never tried to do anything bad to the Rengganis, however, the girl had always been able to survive the traps she had set up.

Several times Shylla deliberately hid the PR book made by Rengganis but once Rengganis never got into trouble because of it. Shylla still remembers that one morning she picked up a math PR book in a Rengganis bag.

“Come kids collect your PR!” miss Fadiya's orders.

Rengganis looked puzzled for a moment and before long the girl came forward carrying another notebook.

“What's up, Re?” ask Shylla pretending not to know.

“My PR book is missing,”

“Then?”

“What's wrong, luckily I made a copy of it in another book. So I collected that one even though the writing was not so neat but at least I can survive the anger of Miss Fadiya.”

Shylla smiled bitterly. His heart was so upset by the incident, again the Rengganis could survive his rotten plan. Is it true that Rengganis is always followed by the goddess of luck? Shylla looked resentfully at Rengganis who was being held tightly by Arju away from the crowd of friends who wanted to witness the love journey of their school idol star.

One day before the school bell rang, Shylla tried to lock Rengganis in WC school. Shylla stood in the field hoping that the Rengganis could not take the first lesson and would get a severe punishment from Mr. Randu, a sports teacher who is famous for being very cruel.

However, just before Mr. Randu walked into the field, Shylla saw a small Rengganis running into the line. The bespectacled girl with wavy curly hair became extremely irritated, again her attempt failed.

“Why, Re?”

“I'm locked in WC.”

“Kok can now be here?” shylla was confused.

“There was Kak Kelvin who happened to pass by, he heard my screams and immediately opened the door so thank God I was not late to participate in sports, though I was very afraid that until Mr. Randu got angry because I was late.” Rengganis' smile expands.

Shylla knew Kelvin wasn't finding Rengganis by accident. The man must have been following the Rengganis from the start.

Actually, without Rengganis knowing many people around him waiting to be able to talk and become his friend, the girl who never realized it.

“Heh, daydreaming.” Arju surprises Shylla who is still standing on the sidewalk in front of the school.

“How, Brother?” ask Shylla.

“There is no answer yet. Thanks for telling me, Fattan will reveal her heart today, so I can go first.”

“Sama-sama, Brother. I will continue to help you to be close to Rengganis.”

“This is for you.” Arjuna gave one white chocolate bar to Shylla.

“Thank you, Brother. Good luck.” Shylla received the chocolate happily.

Arjuna nodded confirming Shylla's prayer in his heart.

Shylla must always pray that Rengganis will receive Arju's love because then Fattan will be hers.

Could it be that the rot that Shylla had kept all this time would be discovered by the Rengganis?

Will the earnestness of Arjuna make the feelings of Rengganis melt?

Is it true that Fattan will back down after what she sees?
