While the word Fitri which means holy, clean from all sins, mistakes, ugliness, ugliness based on the root of the word fathoro-yafthiru and hadith Rasulullah SAW which means"

“Whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan based on faith and solely on the hope of Allah, is forgiven his past sins." (Muttafaq ‘alayh). Whoever prays the night of Ramadhan in faith and in hope of Allah, is forgiven for his past sins. (Muttafaq ‘alayh).

From the explanation of the meaning of the term Eid al-Fitr it can be concluded that the meaning of Eid al-Fitr can be described with a victory day where Muslims celebrate it by returning to "open fasting" or eating.
