My Mom Dear My Mom is Poor

My Mom Dear My Mom is Poor
Chapter 30's

"The food is already done." Husna suddenly said.

The main dish was ripe and began to be served by Husna in front of both children and her husband. Rio who had indeed felt very hungry since earlier, immediately looked at the roast chicken that was so tempting with a gaze that seemed passionate.

"Waaahh, it smells so good." His chirps that still look so stunned at the dinner dish at that time.

"Oh ma'am, it looks so good." Jasmine added with her eyes which also looked so sparkling.

The dinner menu that time, was truly a very luxurious meal menu for Rio and Melati. Because for their entire life, they are very eating chicken let alone roasted chicken. But not with Husna and Aryo, they certainly have often eaten chicken even though it has been a very long time.

"Mom sure you'll like it, son. Let's eat." Reply jasmine gently,

"Yes ma'am." Melati also nodded.

"Mass, let's join us, let's eat together." Husna said again while calling Aryo who was still struggling with the burning embers.

"Eat and enjoy your meal, without me too all will still go right?!" Aryo replied casually.

Husna instantly fell silent and began to sigh. Then he began to rise from his seat to approach Aryo who was a few meters away from him.

"Masss" Husna began rubbing Aryo's shoulders.

"It's not good to keep talking like that. It's our farewell with Melati mas, come on." Refer to Husna again.

Aryo also began to look towards his daughter Melati, at that time Melati was just silent but with the look of her face that looked a little sad.

"Mass, come on, don't make Melati sad again." Whisper Husna while wiggling Aryo's arm.

Aryo let out a heavy sigh, then slowly began to rise.

"Eemm yes, yes!" The answer then though sounded like it was not excited.

Aryo finally sat down to join the wooden table that Husna deliberately took out from inside his house to the terrace. Husna who witnessed it was quite happy, this was a rare moment for him, a moment where Aryo and his children gathered together at a dining table.

But Rio who did not want to be much stale again immediately ate the dish served by his mother without hesitation.

"Did, heh!" Ketus Husna who instantly quickly hit the soft hand of Rio who just wanted to touch his grilled chicken.

"What else is buuu?"

"At least let your brother taste it first, this dinner was made because of him!!" Answer Husna growled.

"Haaaiss, it always is." Rio's complaining that looks lethargic.

"Mommy, it's okay. Whoever tastes first will be the same, will not change the taste." Melati replied that sounded very wise.

"Well, you're right, ma'am, I'm already so hungry! Besides, I've been helping you since this morning." Added Rio.

Without caring about anything else, Rio just grabbed the chicken and put it in his mouth. Husna could not do anything more if Melati, her favorite child, had said that, she could only be astonished at Rio's behavior, which looked like a starving person who had not been fed for days.

"Gosh, man." Keep on growling.

But unlike the case with Aryo, Aryo that night was more silent, unlike the usual Aryo, who always nagged and commented scathingly to Husna who seemed to always look wrong in his eyes.

"Let's eat." Said Melati who finally took a taste of the food that has been served.

The atmosphere slowly began to melt a little, occasionally the sound of laughter was heard on the sidelines of their dinner. Family relationships that previously felt very unhealthy, the night seemed to turn warm.

"If it had been this way before, I probably wouldn't have had the thought of getting away from home." Melati muttered in her heart while looking at her family who was busy chatting and laughing at that time.

Late at night, the dew began to fall to give a cool effect outside the room, Rio who was already very full and began to sleepy, finally got up from his seat and paid to go first to his room. And finally followed by all who also began to give up and want to quickly rest.

Jasmine walked into her room listlessly, yet as soon as she saw the empty suitcase, her eyes widened again and became extremely panicked.

"Geez!!!" The screech.

"Oh my goodness, I just remember I haven't finished packing yet." He muttered alone which was getting worse.

Husna who accidentally heard that, rushed straight into Melati's room.

Melati turned her head towards her mother and immediately approached her with a look of panic.

"Buuuu, help me." Whiney Melati while grabbing her mother's arm.

"I forgot to continue packing my things ma'am, and it's been a very night. How'this?" Added again.

"Haaiyoo, you know, just let mom pack it up." Replied Husna who immediately stepped quickly towards the suitcase that was still agape on the floor.

"Yes ma'am, we have to hurry, because it's late and I have to get up early." Melati rushed back to collect her clothes.

"Son," call Husna suddenly.

Melati also looked towards her mother.

"Stop it! Let me just let you!"

"I mean mother?"

"You go to sleep, leave everything to Mom. You do need a lot of rest because tomorrow you have to go to the station."

"Ta, but ma'am, I must be really tired after a long day of activity."

"It's okay, if you've said that, then follow it."

"Mom sure?"

"Yes, baby. already! Come on up to your bed and sleep well. Try to think about all this, I guarantee everything will be finished when you wake up later." Husna also smiled while gently rubbing Melati's cheek.

"Thank you so much mom, best mom." Melati also briefly peeked Husna's cheeks.

Then he went to bed and began to lie down. Husna who was treated like that by Melati, was already quite happy and moved.

"Sleep well, son,"

Melati also smiled and nodded.

"Good sleep."

"Yes ma'am, mother also after this is done must immediately rest ya."

"Yes, of course"

Melati began to close her eyes, while Husna began to sit on the floor to cover the clothes Melati had just bought. The night is getting late, more precisely now it has turned to 01:20 in the morning, but Husna has not finished on his busyness.

In the middle of the silence of the night, even the people of the entire house were already asleep, but Husna was still struggling in Melati's room, he was willing to endure his sleepiness just for Melati's sake.

"Hooaams." I don't know how many times Husna kept yawning as a sign that he was very sleepy and actually also very tired.

But it still did not stop him to pack all his children's belongings. Husna grabbed one of Melati's clothes, then looked at her for a moment with a sad look. A big smile was seen on his face, then slowly began to smell his daughter's clothes, which he would not wash again.

"Mom would have missed my son so much, if I had the strength to move the campus to our side of the house" murmured Husna inwardly who then put Melati's clothes into the suitcase.

A bright morning...

The sound of crickets disappeared, changing again with the sound of seagulls chirping perched on a tree located right in front of Melati's house.

The rays of the morning sun were also getting warmer illuminating the village, a still very beautiful countryside, the village that will soon leave Melati to study and live a free life according to his dreams since the end of Junior High.

That morning, Melati looked very rushed because she had to buy a train ticket first so as not to run out of seats.

"Mom I have to buy a ticket first, I'm afraid I'm running out." Melati complained in panic.

"Yes, you go first, boy! Pinta Rio to take you there on a bike."

Melati also nodded quickly and immediately moved to approach her sister.

...Seriate......
