Niko was silent at Fara's question. No answer came out of his mouth.
Fara smiled softly. "I think you answered my question."
It's all over. Fara walked out of the classroom. He could not be next to Niko any longer. Otherwise, his heart could be broken.
"Fara," said Niko before Fara stepped out the door, "i don't think I can be your friend anymore."
His embrace of Niko's image grew tighter. Fara took a breath and turned around. "I knew. Ii'm sorry. Goodbye, Niko".
After Fara's death, Niko sat on her stool without moving. He knew he shouldn't be this sad. All this time he always considered Fara as his friend. But why did Fara's passing just a moment ago make her heart ache? Then, he recalled the face of Erika who was in pain last night. He knew he loved Eric too. He was worried when Erika frowned painfully and held her hand during treatment at the hospital. But why was the sadness in his heart that time was not as sad as now?.
After saying goodbye to Niko, it is with deep sadness that Fara meets her homeroom teacher.
"This is your diploma, Farra." Mr. Bambang looked at his protege with a smile.
"Thank you, sir," said Fara while receiving his diploma from the hand of Mr. Bambang. "Thank you again for all your guidance."
"Your mother says you're moving out of town tomorrow" Bambang said.
Fara nodded. "Yes. My mother was transferred to another city."
Mr. Bambang said again, "May you succeed in your future."
Fara thanked Mr. Bambang again and then came out of the teacher room. Before leaving school, Fara turned to look at her school once more. ("goodbye to my school"), she said in her heart.
Shortly after, Fara was on a city bus that would deliver her to the terminal. He realized this was the last time he would take a bus in this city. His gaze turned to the tall buildings opposite him.
Suddenly his eyes stopped on a large banner in a building. Julian Bardeux jewelry exhibition. His gaze then turned to the brown envelope in his hand. Because of her meeting with Niko in class this morning, Fara forgot she was still carrying a picture of Niko's design.
Fara rushes off the bus and runs across the pedestrian bridge to the five-star hotel where the Julian Bardeux jewelry exhibition is held. Fara gasped for breath entering the hotel lobby. He asked the receptionist where the exhibition was being held, then rushed there.
In the elevator that carried her, Fara grasped the image of Niko tightly. ("at least this is the last thing I can do for Niko, ) she thought.
The elevator door opened, Fara stepped out and met the exhibition attendant.
"I want to see Mr. Julien Bardeux," he said without the slightest hesitation.
One of the exhibition guards smiled and asked, "Did you bring an invitation to the exhibition?"
Fara shakes. "I don't have an invitation."
The officer smiled regretfully. "sorry. You can't go in without an invitation."
"Can't I see Mr. Julien Bardeux for a second?" asked Fara without any heartbreak.
The officer nodded. "sorry. His schedule is very tight. Especially the last day of the exhibition. Did you have an appointment earlier?"
Fara shakes.
"I'm sorry, then" said the officer.
"But Mr. Bardeux is in there, right?" ask Fara curiously. "She's gonna come out through this door later?"
The officer looked at Fara curiously. "Yes. But he's been in there a long time." "It's okay," said Fara smiling kindly. "I'll wait here."
