"Mama, why is Papa staying?"

Shaki's question made me look at him. There's no way I'm telling my daughter the truth. He's still a kid, anyway. I don't understand what the adult problem is.

I smiled in response. Then I kissed Shaki's cheek. "Papa's got work to do, honey. So we should go back first." I replied.

Shaki seemed to nod his head. Then came another question that came out of her tiny lips.

"Who did you think, Ma? Tenapa Auntie was even a papa cama?"

I was silent for a moment thinking about the answer. It seems like a child of Shaki's age is indeed entering a period of high curiosity. So I must first think of this word that comes out of my mouth.

"That was Papa's boss, honey. Papa hasn't finished his job yet, so Papa's boss is angry with Papa."

"So Papa is smooth again huh, Ma? Yes, we go home first" said Shaki. I was relieved that he finally understood.

I happen to see a taxi passing by. I stopped the taxi as well. This is my chance to get away from him. Yeah, I gotta get out of Marcell's life. I'm guilty of being the destroyer of his household.

"Taxi!" myrag. The taxi stopped right in front of me. I opened the taxi door. But I was surprised when a hand blocked me.

I look at who he is. It turns out he was Marcell.

I looked at him sharply. Why did this man leave his wife and come here? I don't know Marcell's thoughts. What's clear is I don't want to go into Marcell's household anymore and his wife.

"Where are you guys going?" marcell asked with a cold look.

"Take me off, Cell! Shaki and I should have gone out of your life. I don't want to be a thorn in your marriage. Let us go!"

"No one can go!" Marcell looked very angry. I've never seen him that angry.

Marcell pulled my wrist towards his car. I can't fight because I'm losing my strength to him. And we were in Marcell's car again. He drove the car immediately.

Wh why? Why is it so hard to get away from Marcell? I even stared at him. This man is making me a corner right now.

"Why not just go? Later even-even again papa cama," said Shaki melted the silence.

I glanced a little at Marcell. The man smiled at Shaki and ruffled a bit of his hair.

"Papa doesn't want to work. Papa wants Mama and Shaki alone" said Marcell.

They talked all the way. While I was just silent and smiling when Shaki asked me. Until it did not feel we had reached the Marcell house that we lived yesterday.

Shaki's in Marcell's car heading inside. While I followed them from behind. I'm reluctant to enter this house. I'm like the affair Marcell was hiding.

Want to cry I feel. In my life, I have never been this lowly woman. But I also find it difficult to leave because Marcell keeps me imprisoned.

Marcell enters Shaki's room. He said he would bathe his daughter.

I also decided to release my fatigue by soaking my body. While Marcell was with Shaki, I wanted to calm my mind with a warm bath.

I got out of the bathroom after finishing my bathing ritual. I was surprised when I saw Marcell who was already in the room. Luckily, I brought my change of clothes. So I'm safe.

I saw Marcell staring at me. But I was being indifferent to him. I pretended I didn't see him in this room.

I sat in front of the makeup mirror. From the mirror, I saw Marcell coming towards me. My heart is beating so hard. What else does he want?!

I gulped down my saliva hard as I felt Marcell's hand holding me from behind. Immediately the shadow of Marcell and his family danced in the eye.

I rebelled asking to be let go. Don't want me to fall in Marcell's noose.

"Take me off, Marcell!" With all my might, I tried to let go of her embrace.

"Please! Let me enjoy hugging you, honey. I miss you so much. Missed everything about you." Marcell's voice sounded so sad. It made me finally let her hold me. This body always falls on him.

"Please don't think about leaving me again, honey. I don't know what I'll be like until you leave me." Marcell leaned his head on my shoulder. I'm still quiet not shaking.

"Kc... You told me not to leave you. But didn't you tell me to leave that time? Are you joking or what?"
