It has been a week since the tragedy. Sid, Deva's father and Dendi's uncle continue to deploy their men to search for Kiran and Rhea's mother.
"Sid, it's been a week. We better stop this search, maybe they're gone." Deva's father said quietly.
"If Maya's body and her men can be found, then why can't Kiran and Rhea's mother's body be found?" Sid looked hard at his father. On the fourth day of the search, Maya's body and his men were found.
"Sid, Kiran and Rhea's mother fell into the sea before the ship exploded! It's possible that by the time the ship explodes they've been swept away by the waves!" Deva's father tries to convince Sid.
"If you stop this search, then I'll go down looking for Kiran myself! I would have believed my father that they were gone if his body could be brought before me. If not, I will continue to search for them. If there were none in the sea, I would search them to all the areas connected to this ocean!" Said Sid firmly on his stance.
I'm sure you're alive. My heart and your heart are bound together, if one is uncertain I will also be gone.
Sid groped his chest, trying to reassure himself and believe in God's power. He was fully convinced that his Kiran was still alive, along with his breathing still blowing.
If God allows it, then why does man make it impossible?
"Well, if that's your decision. I hope your trust is true. But, if that's not true, I hope you're not chasing a pseudo-shadow." Deva's father looked coldly at Sid.
Aisha, why is your son's heart so hard about love and being loved? Please persuade our Lord to restore his happiness.
Deva's father let out a rough sigh, then hurriedly left Sid alone kneeling on the beach side.
"Go back, you're all I'm expecting right now. You're the source of my happiness, you're the color of my love." Lirih Sid while stretching his hands, welcoming the breeze of the beach that blows hard.
The stretch of the hand, as if asking God to bring in the woman he loved so much.
...----------------...
Elsewhere, a woman with a slightly distended stomach and another woman who was about to turn sixty was lying helplessly.
Both faces were pale, and his lips paled. A grandmother continued to burn wood in her furnace, trying to warm the bodies of the two women who were lying weak.
A grandfather also helped, both of whom had waited three nights for the two foreign women to come to their senses. It was exactly three nights that they found the two foreign women lying on the remote beach side in a terrible state.
"How, has there been any progress?" The old man asked the grandmother who was sitting next to the two women.
"No, it looks like we should take him to the hospital."The grandmother named Anjum.
"Hospital? Let alone the hospital, we ourselves are not able to eat every day. So where do we pay for hospital fees?" The grandfather named Narja sighed, staring at the ceiling of his house with many holes. Maybe if it rains, their house will be soaked. The walls are made of thin boards, there are many gaps as well.
Suddenly one of the two women coughed.
"Look, he's conscious!" Grandpa Narja smiled. Anjum's grandmother immediately approached the woman who had a distended stomach while carrying a glass of warm water.
"Son, are you conscious?" Anjum's grandmother asked the woman.
"I where? Where's mom? My baby?" The woman was surprised to find herself in a strange house. He felt his stomach, then let out a long sigh after feeling the gentle movements in his stomach.
Then glanced beside him, sighing again for finding the person he was looking for.
"You're at our house, sorry if it's like this." Grandma Anjum said as she gave the woman a glass of water.
"Son, if we may know what happened? So you can get stranded on the beach?" Grandpa Narja asked in a curious tone.
The woman fell silent, remembering all the events that had happened to her.
Suddenly the woman he called mother woke up, coughing as well. Anjum's grandmother returned to take a glass of warm water, and helped the woman sit down.
"Mom, mother, wake up! Is mom okay?" After waking up, the woman immediately hugged each other.
"Mom, mom's okay, right?" Mother Rhea nodded quickly.
"Son, thank God you're okay." Grandpa Narja.
Rhea and Kiran's mother looked at Narja's grandfather and Anjum's grandmother with gratitude.
"Grandfather, did grandparents find us?" Grandpa Narja and grandma Anjum nodded.
"But sorry, we can't take you to the hospital. We don't have money, even for daily meals we don't have." Anjum's grandmother answered with a sad face but looks tough.
Rhea and Kiran's mother smiled, then looked around the house where they were currently sheltering. What a shame, the house is not worth to be called a place to live.
"No, Grandma, cake, we're very grateful for your help. If there weren't any of you, maybe we wouldn't be here right now." Said Kiran who was taken by Rhea's mother.
"What's going on? How could you be stranded on a secluded beach like this?" Ask Narja's grandfather who has been very curious, since finding them on the beach side.
"Grandfather, we're actually in big trouble, our family's hostage to an evil woman named Maya." Kiran starts to tell her everything, Narja's grandfather and Anjum's grandmother listen.
They were shocked, after listening to what Kiran and Rhea's mother had experienced.
"What's? Oh, my God, that's so bad for that guy." Grandma Anjum said with great surprise.
"Sir, is there a pay phone here or does Grandma have a cell phone?"
"Sorry, son." Grandpa Narja said with a sad face. "There are no pay phones, we don't even have cell phones. We need to get off this beach, to find a phone."
Kiran was immediately sad, hearing this.
"Kiran, don't be sad. We can definitely deal with all this, may Sid's heart be moved and come here to look for us." Rhea's mother tried to comfort Kiran.
"Son Rhea, kiddo Kiran, let's eat. You must be hungry, but I'm sorry grandma and grandpa can't give you good food." Grandma Anjum said while helping Kiran get out of bed.
"It's okay, grandma. Sorry our existence is so troublesome for grandparents." Kiran said unkindly.
"It's okay, grandparents are happy to help you. Especially if Kiran is pregnant, right?" Ask grandpa Narja.
Kiran nodded quickly.
They sit on a carpet that is tethered, the carpet looks hollow just like the state of the grandmother and grandfather's house.
Anjum's grandmother served food, not rice served on a plate made of clay, but cassava that has been boiled with sambal that only uses salt.
Kiran cried sobbing, how difficult it was for Narja's grandfather and Anjum's grandmother. But, they could still smile and kindly help her with Rhea's mother.
"Sir, are you two just staying here?"
"No, we have a daughter. He was married eight years ago to a young man from out of town. Every day we waited for him to see us, but since then he's never been back." Anjum's grandmother shed tears when she told him about her son.
"Sorry, grandma, cake, I'm making you sad."
"It's okay, eat a lot. Poor baby, she must be starving in there, too." Kiran directly devoured the boiled cassava, she felt very much enjoyed it. Either because he's hungry, or because he's eating cassava for the first time.
