My Idamannical Boss

My Idamannical Boss
Drunk Again

The room was silent, the lights were deliberately not turned on. The only lighting came from a small window.

A large desk and work chair are placed face to face with a shelf.

A man sitting on a chair with an upright body, without lighting a thousand watts, he could read the neat writing on the blue-colored paper in his grasp. Once she entered the house, her maid immediately handed her an envelope of the same color.

When I open my eyes every morning, all I want to see for the first time is you Sid. I'm sorry, Sid.

In this post, Sid knew him well. Who else? If not Kanaya, the woman in her past who always overshadowed her days.

Sid threw the paper away in the trash. Then, he threw his body into the back of the chair. The message he received today made his head dizzy.

All that made Sid force himself to pour back thousands of pieces of memories that he buried deeply. Why did Kanaya reappear in his life? To tease and make him unable to live quietly.

Why, at the time when Sid left Kanaya did not ask him not to go? And why is Kanaya back in her life now?

Over the past three years, Sid built a high fortress. Not allowing his heart to be accosted by the word love again. Only injuries can be offered.

Sid deliberately behaved ferociously and coldly like an iceberg. It was not that he had no heart and no feelings like what those around him were saying. He just wants to keep his soul and heart from the wounds of love that will be even greater. The man's heart was already broken, broken by a girl named Kanaya.

What do you mean, Kanaya? Want to come back to me? I am not going to! You can't even keep your chastity and love before you have the sacred bond of marriage, then what after?

Sid closed his eyes and pinched his temple. The door was knocked from the outside, and a middle-aged female head appeared.

"Young master, what do you want to drink?"

Sid opened his eyes and looked. "No, bi. I don't want to drink anything. I'll take a shower, and go back to the office."

"office? But it's eight o'clock tonight, sir."

"There's a lot of work to be done." Sid walks towards his room, and enters the bathroom, after which he actually goes towards the office.

...----------------...

The luxury sedan car blared through the streets of Jakarta which were illuminated by lights. Sid decides to go back to the office. At home, he is very dizzy, especially he can't stop thinking about Kanaya. In the office maybe he can by busying himself for his work.

Towards the office, Sid sees a bar.

Sid made a lightning-fast decision. He turned his car into the bar. Kanaya's presence made her feel dizzy. Maybe with a little drink, can calm his feelings. The man got out of the car and stepped into the bar.

...----------------...

"Aira, you're so lucky, someone can accept you for who you are. Even after the incident."

"Kiran, don't talk about it anymore, I want to talk to you about your boss!" Aira held Kiran's arm.

"Why indeed?" Kiran frowned hearing the word 'Bosmu'.

"When I was in Bandung, I saw him. When I caught Rian cheating on me."

"I know, even he also knows that Rian is my Beloved, sorry, my ex." Kiran started to dislike, when talking about Rian.

"Then how were you with your boss?" Tanya Aira was curious.

"How's what?"

"He's still fierce?"

"Not to ask."

"Why is he so fierce?" Aira put on a curious face.

"I don't know, but I also want to know." Kiran's reply began to get serious.

"Why not just ask him?"

"I'm afraid, his attitude is cold."

"Accept whatever the risk. Than you didn't because of curiosity!" Aira pointed at Kiran with her finger. "After all, since when did Kiran become a coward?"

...----------------...

Sid blinked his eyes. His head has been dizzy and throbbing ever since. After paying for his drink, Sid staggers towards the car. A security guard came over.

"Sir, can you still drive? Or should I call you a taxi?" Ask the security guard.

"I'm not drunk." Sid Mumbled.

The answer shows that Sid is drunk.

"Can I drive myself?" Ask the security guard again.

"Of course, stupid! Why is it that every time I walk into a bar, you guys keep asking if I can drive or not?! Of course I can, if not for what I own and buy a car!" Sid said in the middle of his drunkenness.

Sid staggered, almost falling. But swiftly, the security guard restrained Sid's arm and guided him towards the car.

"I want to go home." Sid said. He was sitting in the driver's seat of his car.

"Yes, sir. Sorry I opened the driver, I'm just a security guard here." The security guard was either friendly, or indeed amused to hear Sid's obscure chatter.

"I told you, I can drive! Proof I have a car!" While trying to get his car keys in. Then start the engine and close the door.

"Be careful on the road, sir." Shouted the security guard as Sid's car drove.

The car was moving slowly. Sid peeked at the wall clock being zipped on the radio. Twelve o'clock at night. Sid was about to drive towards his house, when he suddenly remembered that there was a brother and his father who were staying at his house. His brain ordered differently. He changed the direction of the road sliding and split the road leading to somewhere.

In the middle of the trip, Sid's phone rang signaling an incoming call.

Sid picks him up, because the one who called was Deva, his father.

"Sid, where are you? Why not go home?"

"Sorry, dad. I'm in the apartment, what's wrong?" Sid said lying.

"Tomorrow I must accompany your sister Lakshmi to London. I thought I'd ask you to drive me to the airport."

"What time is the flight?"

"Four o'clock in the afternoon."

"All right, I'll work it out. It's a long time ago, I want to rest." Without waiting for an answer from Deva, Sid hangs up.

"Huft, sorry dad, I lied and drank again." Sid Mumbled.

...----------------...

The night has been running since. Wrapping the entire inhabitants of the earth with a damp dark layer, letting the people sleep in each other's dreams. And a moment free from life that is too demanding.

It had been since nine o'clock that Kiran had slept, resting her untiring mind in memory of a beloved who had been lost.

The cell phone on the table beside his bed was singing loudly. Kiran sighed, ignoring. The girl took the blanket and covered it to the end of her head.

But his phone did not stand still. Six times continue to sing. Kiran got up, and grabbed her phone. He immediately received the call without seeing the name on the screen.

Kiran put her phone to her ear.

"Hello." Address Kiran with a raucous voice from drowsiness.

"Where are you? What are?" The caller asked

"Yes, obviously..." Kiran jerks. Hearing the voice made him jump to his seat, and restored his consciousness in an instant.

"Well...!"

Seriate...

Who called Kiran? What's up, anyway?
