"Don't tell me we're not getting married?! But why is it inverted??" The red hue was clearly emblazoned on the face of the girl who was sitting in front of Asoka. Not because of being embarrassed or blushed, but holding back the anger that he had wanted to escape. Once there was the right time, he immediately scolded her by slightly adjusting the volume of her voice.
Asoka who had expected to get a spray from Sera closed her eyes for a while to calm down. Indeed, he was no less surprised when he heard his grandfather's words when the two of them could finally visit.
Without further ado, Heru expresses his desire to marry Asoka to Sera. Asoka's rejection had been thrown, but only led to Heru's silence. Asoka is on the verge of confusion, between choosing to obey but getting recognition or rejecting but getting hate.
"Udah, you calm down. Anyway, it was just a plan.. Not been serialized." Asoka said after calming down.
After deciding to invite Sera to visit her grandfather, she had to make sure there was no more lo-gue in their conversation. Asoka had to convince her grandfather that she did have some emotional involvement with Sera. But he did not think that the lie would have long-tail.
Sera rolled her eyes. "Sure that it's just an end to the plan? All I see is, your grandfather was a man of ambition. If he has a wish, he will certainly pursue it until he can." Sera half whispered. However they are still in the house of Heru, talking about the master of the house while there is no presence in their midst is certainly not a good thing.
Asoka was shocked to hear Sera's statement. He never thought that Sera was quick to respond to the nature of Heru. He thought that the girl in front of him only knew about how to grumble.
"If you really do, you live in Laksanain, right?" Answer it lightly.
"Ih, that's delicious. Our age difference is far away, let alone getting married is a serious thing! It's not my intention to marry a man I don't love at all." Reject Sera raw. The rejection made it seem as if Asoka's love was clapping one hand.
Speaking of love. Asoka is so busy in pursuing a career, that not a single bit he took his heart to taste what is called love. I only dated women a few times. That's also because to support his career, nothing more.
While Sera is just a teenage girl who is still in the process of looking for her identity, it is not surprising that what is in her mind married is only about two people who love each other. In fact getting married is not that simple, Asoka knows that. And he was just teasing Sera.
"Who said I wanted to marry you for love?" Asoka turned around asking by raising her chin. For him to invite a debate with the girl in front of him was something that attracted his heart.
Sera was offended by Asoka's statement. "Certainly? Isn't it because you started falling in love with me and agreed to Grandpa's request?" Tempt Sera with her sweet smile.
Asoka chuckled amusedly hearing it. He knew that Sera just wanted to tease him back. "This is the brain of his mind love mulu." He said by touching Sera's forehead.
Sera grimaced at the sudden jolt. Slowly stroked his forehead and prepared to return to his protest. But soon he paused because he saw Arina coming to both.
"Soka.. Did you hear that grandpa wanted you to marry Sera?" Ask Arina gently. There was not the slightest worry in his mind, even though in his heart he wanted to say his disapproval of the father's request.
"Yes, ma'am."
"You don't have to worry, you can make sure that grandfather does not ask you to marry Sera in the near future."
"Why can aunty be so sure?" Sera Sahut.
Sera nodded in affirmation, although she did not know much about the business issues between her father and the Kusuma family. But he can make sure that his parents do not have a bond of return.
"Wait..so Felix got married because his parents had a bond of return with grandfather?" Sera asked in surprise.
Asoka grunting. "Newly know?"
Sera did not answer and just stared blankly in the other direction.
"If it's so good, ma'am, I don't have to marry a girl who's still raw like her." Chirps Asoka who then got a sharp gaze from Sera.
"You don't get excited just yet, your grandfather won't give up on getting you married even if it's not with Sera. I'm sure your grandfather actually knew about the lies between the two of you." Tukas Arina with a smile.
Sera's eyes widened, as well as Asoka. "Tanteens tofu?"
"You think we're the fools who didn't find out first? Your grandfather deliberately pretended not to know because he wanted to tie you to Soka's wedding.." Arina replied with a look at Asoka.
Asoka's forehead frowned. "So you mean my grandfather had plans from the beginning to marry me?"
Arina replied with a nod. "But grandfather did not think that the girl you were going to bring was Sera."
In Sera's mind was still thinking hard. Did not expect that in this family, marriage was determined by the most powerful. This is completely contrary to him who does not like to be tied to the rules. His life must be his own life, his parents always give what he wants. Almost never give or give rules. And that made her suddenly feel grateful.
Silence was enveloping between the three of them. Arina scrutinized each of the expressions revealed by her son and Sera. He was also not willing if his son had to end up married because of Heru's request. He wanted his son to marry with the moorings of his heart, his own choice of heart. Only her daughter was a victim.
"Mom hope you don't have to worry too much about what Grandpa says. As much as possible I will persuade grandfather to cancel your wedding plans. After all Sera was a woman who was still in school. She must get her education before she's tied to the wedding rope.." Then his eyes shifted to his son.
".. and you're Soka, I hope you can marry a woman of your own choosing." Its effects.
"But ma'am, I'm actually worried. If I refuse grandpa's request, I'll hate Grandpa again." Soka.
"So this is why you suddenly obeyed grandfather's orders?" Ask Arina.
Asoka showed a charming smile. "Yes, I want to get back on good terms with Grandpa like I used to." Although his lips were smiling, his eyes were staring at his mother.
Sera who heard the conversation both just frowned. He chose to be quiet because he did not understand what was being discussed.
